Just as your conscious mind can be thought of as the gardener, planting seeds, your subconscious mind can be thought of as the garden, or fertile soil, in which the seeds germinate and grow.

You need to really pin down your desires, visions, goals and the reason why you wanna achieve them. Get attached to them and derive motivation from them. It will allow you to focus.
I was following this theory since last 4 years and it works. I have changed myself since then. I will be always positive and keep working on my dreams.
