came over from featureman after his whole debacle, and I got say, your recipes make me hungry every time i watch haha, my new go to for relaxing cooking videos!
Dennis, you made my day today with that beautiful pic of your enthusiastic tomato plant, and i blushed at seeing my name in print at the top of your blog!!!! You are truly a renaissance man, given how many talents you have, how many skills you have mastered, and how many life problems you solve. And now you are becoming a Tomato Plant Whisperer!!!! I am so impressed by the care you are giving your garden, and i do hope you’ll treat us to a pic or two as your tomatoes continue to grow. I do so enjoy your blogs!!
Thanks Nancy. I appreciate your feedback. You always have something pleasant to say. If others are curious about the blog Nancy mentioned, you can find it here: www.white-trash-cooking.com/blog.html I upload every Sunday and Wednesday.
Man you truly look like you love what you do. We're so glad we found your channel! My wife doesn't read English well. Your videos have made it much easier for us to cook western recipes together. Happy New Year!
Thank you for the positive feedback. I appreciate it, and I'm glad the channel is useful to you and your wife. Enjoy, and Happy New Year to you too. -Dennis
Great idea to use the strainer to shake off the excess coatings. I will do this now as usually those pieces end up in the oil as never occured to me. Good idea to use ziploc bag for old oil. Happy New Years Dennis!
Happy new year Dennis! Looking good. Your meal suggestions at the end are excellent. The yellow shirt with blue highlights is one of your best. Glad you are well my friend! Great video.
Thank you Mea. Yes, it was a pleasant evening last night. I watched Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on CNN ring in the New Year. Happy New Year to you. -Dennis
Where I live we start with a bed of mashed potatoes, then in any order you like, we add popcorn chicken, whole kernel corn, and chicken gravy. It's a magnificent winter day comfort food, and your recipe is going make it easier for it to happen more often, thanks!
Great snack idea for movie night, or watching the game. These would also be great in tacos for a quick dinner, or on top of a salad, or even a loaded baked potato. Great video, and I’m saving the recipe for the coating mix. What a good idea!
Thank you. You just gave me some excellent ideas. I never thought to make them part of a salad. I'm going to do that next. Happy New Year to you. -Dennis
Great recipe to start the New Year🎉! your finger licking mix is awesome, I have used it so many times. my favorite thing to use it on is shrimp. can't wait to make this recipe. the only disappointment I had was no airplane in the video, I'm just kidding. thought you needed a laugh. have a super wonderful day.
I make myself laugh sometimes. I hear a plane and look up at the ceiling, as if I might see it. I'm pleased you like that coating mix. I should try it on shrimp. That sounds good. Thanks for the tip. -Dennis
Is it true that you are approaching 72? You look incredibly young and have a remarkably youthful spirit :) please do enjoy your free time, I hope my previous comment did not come across as demanding. I am more than happy with the content you have provided us with over the years. thank you as always for what you do, and know that there are strangers out there in the world who appreciate you. Peace and Love from the Netherlands.
Yeah, I'll be 72 on this date next month. Thanks for the positive feedback. I've been thinking of getting back into making videos after my birthday. It's only a thought right now. I shall see. -Dennis
good morning, dennis - i’ve been thinking about your wednesday blog regarding your last doctor visit. i’ve watched a female nurse youtuber for quite some time, and she had a similar problem with “overly-constricting” muscles in that area and couldn’t teach herself to learn to relax them when needed. She asked her doctor if a physical therapist specializing in this problem might help. He said, let’s try, and months later she is doing much better. Just thought i’d mention this in case it could be helpful for men as well. I worry about you, and would so like to see your quality of life improve beyond where it is now. Be well, dennis, and on a lighter note, i loved your photos on wednesday of the garden!!!
Hi Nancy. Thank you for thinking of me. It's interesting you mentioning a physical therapist. My doctor suggested it, but I wasn't sure I wanted to go in that direction. However, your message has changed my mind. I'll call the doctor next week for a referral. And thanks for the feedback on the photos. I have another one ready for tomorrow's blog. -Dennis
Thanks Scott. It really has been a while. I'm doing okay. There is always something to complain about, but my problems are minor compared to some people I know. Take care and be well. -Dennis
Great idea! I have Panko bread crumbs. Maybe a light egg wash and a tumble in the crumbs combined with my coating mix might make some good popcorn chicken. I'll give this a try today. Thanks for the suggestion. -Dennis

Thank you for the comment. Yes, I'm doing well enough. As I approach my 72nd birthday I've been slowing down quite a bit, enjoying some quiet time. -Dennis
Thanks for checking on me Trent. I live in an area that is not prone to flooding. We had a lot of rain though. The gauge at the top of the mountain pass recorded 14 inches of rainfall in 24 hours. The water level in Lake Cachuma, the reservoir, rose by 32 feet. And there are at least two more storms out over the Pacific. -Dennis
Hi Dennis....I did not realize you had been posting on a vlog you have so just read you are not going to be making you tubes anymore. Very appreciative of all the videos you have made. I am also sorry to hear you are still recovering from your surgery. Have you discussed with your doctor using some lidocaine gel with regard to comfort with your daily procedures. It is something that men do and have found helpful. It may even be that you could call and ask his nurse about it and you could try before your next visit with him. And there are published journal articles about it. Hope i am not overstepping. I have been thinking about you and I hope things get better soon.
Thanks for the concern. I've spoken with two urologists about my issues, which are only a problem some of the time. Neither one had a useful suggestion. One gave me a tube of lubricant, but it doesn't help. I'm trying to get a small supply of a different catheter that is helpful when the usual ones fail, which is only about 20% of the time. As for making videos, I have stopped for a while, but maybe I'll go back to making them again if and when I feel better. Otherwise, I'm doing well for being nearly 72 years old. -Dennis
@@MobileHomeGourmet You are not alone with these issues....recovery can take longer than expected for many having these kinds of issues. Take care and good to know you might be just on a break from youtube.🙂

😁👍. Some people top with shredded cheese, I forgot that part 'cause I prefer it without.
Sounds like the KFC chicken bowl😍
