  • I know these videos have been done before but I still receive messages asking what's the best way to remove hubs so here's a simple little trick to remove your stuck wheel bearing from any car no hammer or special tools needed.

Pretty good technique! I'm sure you were just showing how to remove a stuck hub but people should really invest into torque wrenches because specifically in this case if it had already been converted to a five lug imo should of lasted a whole lot longer! I also advise the use of Blue Marine grease which I have been using with no issues for the past 8+ years and I just took of my hubs to remove dust shields to fit a 350z brembo rotor and they are still healthy! Here are the torque specs for anyone who might need them!
    S13
    Front 108-159 ft-lb
    Rear 174-231 ft-lb
    S14
    Front 152-210 ft-lb
    Rear 152-203 ft-lb
Do not go below lower torque number to prevent loose hub, do not exceed higher torque number or else you will damage hub because it should spin freely!
Keep the videos Nick, lookin good!

Yea Wasn’t a diy for the whole process I just zipped it on with gun then torqued. The bearing needed to be changed because aftermarket conversion hubs have weak seals and water got in the bearing and pitted the race wasn’t due to over or under tightening but yes that can also damage a bearing. Marine grease is nearly same as any high temp ( I work at a trailer shop building trailers) they claim it repels water but you want the grease to absorb water not repel. if the water won’t mix with the grease the water will sit directly on the bearing and pit them. As for should have lasted longer no telling how long the hubs had been on considering it was 5 lug converted when I bought it.

Idk, there was not enough swear-words, plus prying at the hub hours on end for me in this video…

Damn. Nissan really made the hub bolts M12-1.25 x 36mm. You can only get 35mm bolts from the store.

Yo! I hope you see this - Do you have an ebrake on this car? (Like, the stock cable one that has the drum - does it have a drum brake? Please correct me if I'm wrong, asking outta curiosity)

it’s a stock cable handbrake but it’s not drum actuated cable moves the caliper piston . z32 and skylines however have drum style handbrakes
