- The Sepdiurnal Virus is rapidly changing and the Red Moon Phenomenon now occurs every single night... In this playthrough I'll be spinning a wheel to determine the difficulty each day (aka viral mutation/evolution). Some days will be easy, others will be very hard! And each day there will be a horde night. How long can we last before we're overrun by the undead?!

Ya know, Glock 9 is currently doing a series where he's trapped inside the Diersville hospital and it's not going well. The start of this series offers a prime opportunity for a co-op series between Tamreki and Glock. That would be an amazing series. Those two's different perspectives on their respective channels surviving a hoard every night. I know Glock already did a hoard every night series but the team-up is enough variation that I think it would be worth it.

@zedinator The poi fire traps are not as good as molotove's as far as damage dealt to zombies (it does look cool though). It could be part of the entrance to the primary kill zone to 'warm them up'.

Love the premise for this series! Also love the mod that lets you take ALL the jobs from the trader at once instead of all the time-wasting travel back and forth to the same area to do one job at a time. Love the other mods, too, that we've seen so far, like turning on lights. 👍

Old school map! so many fond memories and that gas station on the outskirt of town makes a wonderful base... just take out the internal stairs to the second floor and you are gravy!
I always hated that map but I started playing in a18 and spawned into the middle of nowhere and spent like a week in like 3 pois with never finding any of the towns tell I restarted.
@@davidjames1993 Yeah, not a great map but fond memories none the less. Built a horde base outside of that town on top of a bridge and survived to day 70 on it. I still get the feels when seeing my 'just discovered 7 days' bases.

Love the series. If you open the path through the wall go one block over (where the stairs are now) and put a blocking wall so they don't run near the pipe and have a chance of hitting/damaging the fire trap.

Ahhhh~ finally. I was wondering when the next Vanillaish series was gonna be~ looking forward with the interesting setting of Horde every night. And Navezgane map too! RanGen had its appeal but going back to Navezgane is awesome.
That NFD poi was my main base for like the first 21 days of my current save~ it served me well until i decided to build a base from scratch to serve as my final base.
It's been a long time since I visited Navezgane, it's really nice to experience a hand-crafted map instead of the RWG sprawl

I'd suggest trying to shore up the blocks around the emission point on that fire trap. Can't have the shamblers taking out the very thing that your present defenses are designed around after all!
Should be a game mode. Everyday you have youre progress but youre strategy where and what to hit and to prioritize is diffrerent every ingame day. AWESOME
Imho the start of playthroughs is always peak 7DTD - this was a good start :)

You're right close by to Diersville - certainly there's cooking pots inside one of the many kitchens.
On the first few days of a horde every night series you'll have more zombies to fight inside of a regular POI than you get for a blood moon horde - might as well go out at night to loot up POI's.

I noticed that cooking pots are a LOT harder to come by now. I played a couple of different maps and the only place I could really find them in small towns was in the hoarder house. Also, they changed the layout of the Navezgane map. Trader Joel sits out in the middle of nowhere, and so does Jen, though she is closest to the little town that she originally sat next to, and Joel is just across the mountains from the lake, both are still a long hike.
Sweet. I haven’t watched the last couple games but this might be another series to return to the channel with.
U R a legend, finally some good stuff
The flame trap's spout isn't particularly durable, and with 3X zombie block dmg it might be broken fairly quickly just from errant swipes from the hordes. I recommend dropping zombies directly through the flame, but making sure then can never stand near it. Using the pre-existing stairwell and a bit of pit-digging you could make something really interesting, but you also need to make sure cops or demolishers won't be close enough when they land to blast the flame-trap to oblivion.

Seeing you bowling down the road at a smart clip on a lawnmower made me laugh so much ( I always see you as the character, so that was an awesome image) although I won’t lie, the fact that the mower doesn’t actually *mow* grass it rides over does irritate me- who doesn’t want immaculate lawns in the apocalypse?
Wondering when GNS would start a new series and . . . well, its a creative start and I'm looking forward to it . . . a lot.
If your really in need of feathers, you can loot the nests, close out and harvest them
My current and first playthrough actually consisted of me making my home the Fire station, thought the very same thing great protection without the need for alot of resources
I recommend you block off or straight up fill in that side room next to the flaming pipe. You can't afford any more cheeky zombies getting ideas.
Been a while since you did a series in Navezgane, this should be fun. I really like this POI for a base too, used it a bunch of times. Best I could come up with is a ladder access to use the flame but I tend to like using the bell tower as a fighting area for hordes since it's so high up.
Oh boy....well, nice video, Definitely would love to watch you do a horde every night series....but this is going to really show how far behind Navezgane is, its missing POI's, terrain improvements, no town buildings (walk ways and town only POI's) etc...
make sure to protect the valve that releases the fire coz the zombs seems to know to break through it lol 😂

It's too bad the fun pimps won't allow us to craft those fire traps. I think it would be pretty cool. And if they did it could be set up kind of like the generator or battery bank with the wire tool. You have to craft a red barrel and use the wire tool and connect it to the fire trap and you must put gasoline in the red barrel. And if you don't have gasoline in the red barrel the flame goes out and so on and so forth you get it but someone should definitely find a way to mod that in. Because I think it'd be pretty cool if you could set up your own fire traps
Great idea! That's one area that has been lacking for too long, the lack of trap variety.
Finally another 7 days series!
The only problem that I have with the mower mod, it that it makes like 1/3 of all vehicles mowers. Sometimes when I go to a POI, there are like 3 mowers and no other cars except junk. So I usually start a new game without the mod then add it in after it first loads so I'm not running into mowers everywhere. But cutting the grass with it was an awesome addition!

I have not played this in awhile. I always tried to find a trailer day one. They used to be made of steel. I fought many first hordes with a bow from a trailer roof.
The poi flame traps are basically useless against zombies. When they first came out they would kill anything really fast so they nerfed it hard now they do like 5 damage in total to zombies.
7 days to die but its random. I like where this is going

I hated that they nerfed the fire traps against zombies. You'd think in a survival game they would want you to make use of the environment to your advantage.
The pass n gass could have had some drinks.

Those fire traps do a limited amount of damage to zombies - a very little amount of damage. But it'll kill you. TFP's did that so you can't use them to wipe out hordes.
It's called game balancing and one should never take it personally.
I'm really enjoying your 7 days vids. I'm currently playing the Infected, but looking at this next. I like the thinking required. Do you have a base and a horde base, or just the one. I'll have a look through as I enjoy building from scratch, not from existing structures. Only if practical though?

They used to take damage from fire traps until a certain muppet made a base that incinerated zombies 😆 now its just very little to no damage.
