I have booth lights. Performance wise they are the same. I have big hands so the 35 fits better in my hands. On low profile the 33 is better. Love booth.
    Great channel
    Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪

Is the beam pattern the same on both? Or which one has a wider hotspot?

@@elmeme88 Eric answered that. The 35 has a wider hotspot.

I have loved powerful flashlights my whole life. I grew up in Oregon in the 60's and a powerful flashlight was a necessary when you camped out. We just had the monsterous D cell batteries. They didn't last very long so you had to be careful you didn't use it too much. Thanks for the video.

i have both the 33 and the 35. I prefer to edc the 33 due to its smaller size.

@@elmeme88 they have very similar beams, but the 35 is brighter, & has a bit wider spill and longer throw.

Bought it. Pleased but this is my first light in the plus 1000 lumen range, never realised how hot these lights can get! Secondary function as a hand-warmer, lol!

Short answer 33 gets to hot to quick 35 got good run time still gets warm but 33 is an egg cooker. I got bitten by the weltool bug though it's pain full bite stings in my pocket book but "well" worth it!!! LH8 and LH1 AS WELL GREAT LIGHTS GREAT ALL AROUND AND LH8 HAS DANG GOOD THROW FOR THAT MATTER LH1 FOR ITS OUT PUT ITS ACTUAL LUMENS ALSO DOES TO I JUST GOT DONE HEALING FROM THE NITECORE BUG AND THE WELTOOL BUG CAUGHT ME SLIPPING IN THEM SKREETS AND GOT ME. MY NEIGHBOR'S HATE ME

I had to pay nearly 340 dollars to own a Nitecore EDC 35 flash light in India.
The expense includes the transportation and the customs duty .

the 33 is better in my opinion. The 35 is only brighter in the momentary modes, the sustained brightness is the same at around 1100 lumens... And i dont need more runtime than the 33 has. Plus the tint tends to be better on the uhi20 from what ive seen online.
Getting the same unique light in a smaller package was more appealing to me but if you prefer the 21700 for the runtime and additional peak brightness, the 35 is great too.

The button should slide in the other direction to stay locked while being slid into the pocket or am I wrong?

Thank you. I was on the fence for 2 weeks . I use lights for structural inspections. Everyday and sofrin was cheaper. But. 1 year warranty. Nitecore 3 year. S. My olight. Broke 2 times. But they replaced. But. The equivalent. Would be 140 $. So 3 years. Nitecore. 20 bucks more. If it’s goes bad in 3 years. It will pay for itself

No light that has a built-in battery can be considered better than any other that doesn't. Duty light? Forget it, if you're out of power then you're out of light if you can't swap in a freshly charged cell. The performance will drop through the years and you won't be able to replace the cell. Best??? Maybe the best between flashlights with built-in batteries. Worst as a flashlight vs the real flashlights for sure though. Why throw away the entire light entirely when all of its components still work besides the battery? This isn't a smartphone that will be outdated due to the battery failing and due to the hardware that can't keep up with the latest software. A light should last a lifetime as most of them do. Except for this abomination that is...
