What’s your most embarrassing guitar fail? One time during a show my amp blew and just completely stopped working, and I stood on stage like a goon until the song ended.
hahah
my wire kept falling from an old tele in stage xd man luckily everyone was pretty drunk
My every play is an embarrasing guitar fail :D
The stage kicks guy wasn't even plugged in
I am in a band at the music store where I take lessons, it is a fun addition to the lessons and makes it more interesting. We sometimes perform around the town. One time I butchered a solo but no one seemed to care
ElectroBOOM is funny as hell, definitely recommend watching all of his videos
Fook yea
Funny and educational.
From memory he said something along the lines of, the things he does are all things that can go wrong when you work with electricity, and he figured it was worth showing people. But with a bit of humour.
He did a lecture at a uni or something a while back, and it was great
My dad was the one who showed me his vids and then I got into them even more
Love me some ElectoBoom!
He made the guitar video to talk about the dangers of electricity. Awesome guy.
Many years ago my lead player, who was a stunt man, was ripping off an awesome solo when he jumped off the stage and landed on his knees on the dance floor -it was the most amazing rock move EVER!
The whole crowd went absolutely WILD!
I was wondering what was with the weird face he was making during the last half of the solo, and then we finished the song with him still leaning back on his knees.
When it was over, he looked back at us up on the stage and painfully asked if someone could call him an ambulance.
The poor guy's leg was broken! THAT is a bad-ass trooper.
Bruh that guy is tough as nails
But he KEPT PLAYING.
@The Senate ...true...but this information would have been useful YESTERDAY!!! 😆 LOL!
You guys must’ve rocked out. He even broke a leg for the show.
Break a leg just got a new explanation now from this story
What I learned today. Drummers have no nerve endings, bass players have thick heads and the BAND MUST PLAY ON! Ok Music Is Win for sure.
Thicccçc
As a drummer I can confirm that statement is accurate
As a bass player I can confirm that this is accurate, I was dropped on the head multiple times as a baby and look at how I turned out. My head is just that thicc.
As a second drummer it is very true
The guy who made the "electric guitar" is actually an electrical engineer, and is a pretty smart dude. He intentionally screws stuff up and explains why it didn't work. His channel is electroboom.
"No matter what happens on stage, keep playing your instrument."
Too true, at a show I played the drummer dropped her drumsticks and without drums the whole band stopped.
I realised what happened though and kept playing through it so the rest of the band could fall back in time with me, after a few bars the drummer started playing again and the whole band was back in action.
I saw Steve Gadd drop one stick once and instead of just grabbing up another one that he of course had near at hand--he IS a consummate pro, after all--and he tossed the other one and kept on going bare knuckle. It sounded great. Consummate pro is a good definition for him.
Remember what Zappa used to say, "A drummer is a musician's best friend."
the barenaked ladies (remember them)were playing on tv, and the one of the guitarist broke one of his strings and the guitar went terrible out of tune, nobody stopped he kept singing a tech took his guitar and gave him another.
4:34 I think he's saying "röven", which basically means "ass" in swedish. His dialect sound a bit weird to me though, so he might be Norwegian or Danish too...
So, if "röven" means 'ass' in Swedish, then the Swedish for 'bass' must be "bröven".
@@Ubu987 nah, we got lazy and decided to just cut one S instead (bas). Bröven would've been funnier though
Um he's from nashville....
@@gradyamick4126 you sure? In that case I have Absolutely no idea what it could be...
oh hello fellow swedish person. Fancy meeting you here. (I assume you're swedish given what you just said)
Bonham was the hardest hitting drummer until 0:43
“His guitar went into the stratosphere”
Unintentional guitar joke
Haha just what I was thinking...who knew that "strat" was actually short for "stratospheric caster"? Good thing he wasn't playing a "starcaster" or it may never have come down!
@@ginogenero7972 one way or the other the strat is still scrapped
Oh dude .... Think I just saw a Flying V go over the car!
8:42 yeah, it's made by the channel electroboom and that guy does these stupid mistakes on purpose to show the dangers of electricity
I was about to say this :))
Yeah, but its fake. If you plug something like this on the wall, you would shortcircuit your house the moment you plug it.
@@nheto666 yeah i saw the vid, his reaction afterwards doesnt seem very realistsic for someone who got electrocuted
@@nheto666 GFCI would cut the circuit.
The only mistake is himself
when the bassplayer hits the guitarist for playing bad... you know it´s serious :)
Hi, my name is Xavier, I am Australian and I am 14, almost 15 years old. I have been watching your videos lots recently and I love them. My mum bought me a nylon string acoustic guitar 2 years ago for Christmas and I did my best at the start and got a little better. About half a year later I wasn't getting any better at guitar and I didn't play it as much but not long ago I started watching your videos and it has motivated me pick that guitar up and play it again. I have learned several intros to songs like Hotel California, Back in Black and Highway to Hell since I started watching your videos and I would like to thank you for making such good content that helps people like me pick up their guitar and learn something. I also got a job at McDonald's recently and I am saving up for an electric guitar and amp, this will help me get better. One day I want to be just like you. You make great content, thank you.
Keep at it! You'll get there!
do you know stairway?
Don't know if troll.
Just keep practicing! I've been playing guitar and bass for about 5 years, never had an electric guitar. Domt think it will necessarily help you get better though.
@@NeonBeeCat electric is louder, louder can only mean better
"Good thing he's a drummer they don't really have many nerve endings" as a drummer I can say this is true
Roven means ass in Swedish xD (after the tv breaking)
@Paras finn ?
I didn’t hear that. I heard him say “oh fuck” in an accent
I figure his dog/cat was named roven so he was putting on the act of blaming the dog/cat.
Yoni Kup röven
Jag är svensk
There is one from my teenage years (late 80s) that I wish I still had so I could share with you. We were doing a cover of Bon Jovi’s “Runaway”. We hit the section at the beginning of the guitar solo when the entire band hits the six single notes on that syncopated line. I’m standing in front of the drum riser and on about the fourth of those six notes I get whacked in the back of the head- a cymbal has fallen onto me. But as you said- show must go on. So I’m kind of woozy while playing the guitar solo, and I’m trying to angle myself so the drummer can get his cymbal off of my head. Keeping it together was kind of all for nothing though, because the rest of the band lost their shit watching this and started laughing too hard to play.
12:40 Haha 'just shot off into the STRATosphere'
I love this joke and hate it at the same time
You beat me to it by, erm, ten months... 😅
I'm watching this in bed. My wife is probably gonna kill me. She is trying to sleep because she has to get up in a few hours and I'm shaking the bed laughing so hard. I didn't expect them to be funny but when that guy just threw his guitar and was like "oh well" I laughed til I cried. Especially when he pointed out how far he threw it.
Might have been a Gibson Flying V guitar.
The pfp just makes it better
The drummer from 10:42 is actually a buddy of mine, and the video was from when he was in high school in the 90's. They were playing for an all night marathon/fundraiser for the local cable channel, and this was at the 3:30am mark. He basically fell asleep at that moment haha
I rewatched it, and yeah. He looks DONE.
The guy with the "electric guitar" makes a lot of videos showing what not to do when dealing with electricity, at his own expense. It's all comedy gold.
Guitarist #2: This is what happens and what you get when you hardly ever show up to band practice.
Music is win: the show must go on.
Typical camera man: the shot must go on.
Editor: that shot must be cut
8:20 This is the UA-camr Electroboom. He does stuff like this all the time. XD
But he is an electrical engineer and knows very well, how to do this crap without killing himself.
That guy who built his own guitar is an electrician who knows exactly what he’s doing. He shocks himself all the time in his videos to show how easy it is to mess up with electricity. Much respect
@9:03 "Basically what he created here... was an electric fence". Classic!
Maybe the last band was actually good, but someone was like "Impressive but can you play Cocaine while high on cocaine?"
Ruslan K. The people who were playing cocaine also tried to play comfortably numb. It was quite funny as well.
@@Firebird_876 Hahaha, gonna find and watch it for sure
That's not how cocaine works.
Ruslan K. Naw, they would’ve nailed it perfectly. Maybe a tad quicker, lol
@@missesmew at Through the Fire and the Flames BPM xD
"He looks like he got shot with a freakin pellet gun." 😂😂😂
Still not as bad as when our highschool band director had to stop us entirely for all playing We Will Rock You at different tempos... Even the percussion section couldn't play together on that one.
There was a garage band in our neighborhood I use to love to watch, 3 guys in their late 50's who still dreamed about being rock stars, the drummer would play old jazzy style drumming the guitarist was a metalhead the bassist barely knew how to hold a bass, when they started playing they all playing something different, and none of them even noticed.
@@joemax4535 They quit caring at that point. Maybe an excuse to have a few beers and act like kids again.
12:45 “stratosphere” pun unintended, unnoticed even.
The how to make an electric guitar video is real and not overdubbed. That guy makes plenty of other electricity videos where he fails as well
Nick Schmidt slow it down and watch it. It’s fake.
It's Electroboom.
Not a fail when it is done on purpose...it's only a fail when he doesn't know exactly what he is doing and things go sideways...this? Not a fail....sorry....
5:28 looks like the guitar cable was running under the tv cord, which was stretched tight already; ouch! Just basic planning would've helped him a lot. Or maybe it *_was_* just the power of that last sweet note!
That's my guess, his guitar chord was somehow entangles with the power cord of his tv so when he went for the money shot chord he yanked the set, this is one good thing about the old crt tv sets they were very heavy,he would have just yanked the power cord out of the outlet.
I pulled my amp head off the speaker once. Lesson learned.
I'm glad you included the guitar throw guy. He's a legend. And if you liked Electro Boom's "electric guitar", the rest of his channel is great, too.
The electric fence guitar is great! I'm saving up, I gotta get me one of these custom job guitars.
Awwww this is great love these! I hope one day I get featured in a guitar fail! 😂
I hope I don’t ngl
I've heard of a Flying-V before but not a flying bass. Even the bass players 90 year old grandmother knows this isn't how you play air-guitar but I love it. Did you see the serious air that guy got with his bass? Wow, that thing grew wings Okay, here's how you do it the right way. Lesson 1, buy a seriously good quality guitar strap lock set. Lesson 2, do not buy the cheap $5.00 guitar strap locks, get the brand name quality strap locks that cost more than you want to pay that actually work every time without fail. Lesson 3, get a high quality guitar strap that doubles as a 30 ton truck tow strap. Lesson 4, make sure the strap is securely sandwiched in the strap lock and you use Loctite not lubricant on the threads. Lesson 5, make sure the screws going into your guitar are good and tight so they don't come loose. Finally, get an 4K UHD camera so we can see you swing your $10,000 one of a kind signed signature guitar around your neck like a chimp at a zoo. I say go ahead, give the people what they want and never stop playing or people might notice the mistake.
I'm thinking the drummer's throne leg slipped off the riser.
Also, the last one, it looked like they were looking at their instruments in a "keep your head down, don't make eye contact, and this will be over soon" type response.
The guy with electric guitar is definitely a man of culture, We all should learn the creativeness and the efforts from him..😜😀😂👍
bruh, the amps for that electric guitar are in the wall, at least 15 amps ^.^
or 16 amps. Lol
20 amps...
That go to 11
The guy whose guitar flew away @13:00, the guy who is watching his guitar slowly fall from the sky, his band's name is 'Still Waiting'.
Electricboom(the homemade electric) knew what would happen.... He's just a madlad.
12:44, he's Stillwaiting for his guitar to land ...
I’m gonna BASS your head in 😂😂😂. Bassists are just a HILARIOUS BREED
Im happy electroboom is in the vid
The "electric" guitar guy is actually pretty smart as far as electronics go. He makes these vids in a sense to teach people and warn them about the dangers of working with electronics. I imagine the video you received was edited without any of this context in there. Cool guy, tho!
I like how you said stevie t before dared jines. I approve
I love the public access video. The drummer falls on his back and stays there, kicking his feet, like he's a turtle or something.
"He's probably fine. Let's move along." 😂👍
These never get old!
That dude who crashed his tv it sounded like he Said ”Röven” witch means like ”the ass” in swedish but he talked with a weird accent
9:20 i love how he is so specific in saying 1994 😂
nice video dude. love your channel!!!
Electroboom. :)
And when you don't know your part of the song: *Yeets instrument*
3:17 that SLAP was like something out of a movie lol
Ayy electric boom(yeah the video is real but he did it on purpose to be funny and explain safety about electricity)
The shock is fake though
The bass throw was something they do at the end of every set and it usually goes well. Poor fella.
Hi bro love your videos live from philippines❤😊
The guy who threw the guitar and knocked dude clean out 💀🤣🤣
That bright stage light was in his eyes when the base was in the air. I doubt they planned for that.
The guy who used to catch the guitars that Prince threw in the air must of been damn good!
That guy who made the electric guitar really is that crazy I know his channel And yeah He does things like that But believe it or not he does know what is doing
It would be funny if that electric guitar with the nails was made of mahogany😂
How do you freak out a guitar player?
Show him a piece of sheet music
I’m a guitar play and I resent this.... one question though.... what’s sheet music?
i would ignore it and keep jamming
I can read sheet and i play guitar
This comment was made by the classical guitar gang
Never heard of him
"you can't bring a piece of paper with the lyrics on it"
This reminds me of Summer Sanitarium 2000. James Hetfield missed a few shows due to an injury, so Metallica brought out members of the 4 other bands out to fill in for james. It was an epic all star night.
Serj from System of a Down was reading off lyric sheets for the songs he performed with the band (Master of Puppets and Sanitarium, if memory serves)
"Baggy pants and flannels" basically just described my gf 😂😂
'Oh he got too into' I'm dying 😂🤣🤣

I love your videos they make my day!!!!
Not gonna lie. I have watched probably 20-30 of your videos over the last few days, but I just put 2 and 2 together that you are a North Carolinian. Good to know I am supporting a local content creator!
Hes actually from new Zealand but moved to London
Seen all this vids a million times..
that guitar flip had me in tears
Lil wayne is a genius like a black jimi hendrix
nah
Lil Wayne sucks at guitar
Nick Jonas is better
Turtusking I think that is one of the best jokes I have ever heard.
No he's like a black Steve Vai. Steve Vai sucks, all he does is play a million notes per second. He has no feel.
Scott Velez but black Steve vai has feel
No one is going to comment on him saying a black Jimi?😂
Haha! That scrolling with the drummer fall -priceless
You can't do a better reaction video than Stevie T.
.calm down, This was also good
Love those Hughes & Kettner guitar heads back there, all lit up BLUE. Freakin awesome !
7:35 eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey ElectroBOOM
Yeaaaaahhhhhhhh
Electroboom is really serious abt it 😂😂😂he's amazing
5:35 who is that band / where did you find that clip of the bass being tossed?
It’s A Day To Remember. There bassist, Josh, ends shows by throwing his bass to their guitar tech. This is I think the first time the tech didn’t catch it
Definitely a day that guy will remember.
The bassist, maybe, but the tech will have concussion induced amnesia.
7:35 that guy is actually a genius whenever it comes to electricity because he runs a UA-cam channel under the name of electroboom he is actually a electrician and he gives electricians advice and he does little skits like that all the time
"Oh, He got Too into it" LMAO!!!
The electric guitar guy has almost 3 mil subs
As a teen, I was demonstrating to my cousin just how cool Frank Marino was in concert and lifted my guitar over my head, right into the glass light shade on the ceiling.
Glass came down around my head and left a nice bleeding gash on my jaw.
Nice to see you laugh. You’re always serious in most of your videos.
6:47 I'm sorry but... WHO THE HELL WEARS A GUITAR STRAP LIKE THAT??
me the very first time I started to learn guitar on my brother's guitar lol
@@MrWhiteguy6 ha that's amazing bro I love it 😂

You kinda have to on those dinky little things.
I just freakin' love your playroom!
2:09 dude you’re lying. EVERY guitarist has seen this video!
I felt bad about some of my performances until I saw the guy getting attacked by the singer and bass player. "This the first time you ever heard the song?" "Dude, this is the first time I've ever played guitar..."
Never seen Tyler genuinely smile until now
At 8:47 that is a real thing that guy did he actually works with electricity
11:04 Love how the dude just lays there flailing his legs like a turtle on its back
The homemade guitar doesn't need an amp, it's plugged into the wall. duh
?
Best part is the guitar flip from the clip of a band Still Waiting, guess that guitar player is still waiting on his guitar to come back from the flip
For the looks of the last band, I feel that they were just starting. They were all staring at his hands just like any of us did (or do) when we were getting started because we were focused on avoiding mess things up. Also look at the hands of the bass player, they look like mine when I was just a beginner at the bass. My thoughts on that one.
PS: that singer is awful tho😂
Dude. When that guitarist got slapped..
I friggin lost it!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I'm just wondering, how long have you played guitar?
That homemade guitar was from electro boom. He frequently hurts himself to show the danger of electricity. So he made a fake one for the lols. He is incredibly entertaining and educational. I highly recommend his channel for the hilarity and also the info.
Tyler: *is about to flip his guitar around*
Ad: Bonjour
2:44 stevie t would have fixed that solo 😂
Bad!
7:37 That's ElectroBoom! He's a really smart and funny UA-camr. Does experiments with electricity and magnets and such.
I've seen the "how to make electric guitar" video 1000 times and laugh each time. Its definitely a joke video - the guy is a real electrician and does a lot of tutorial videos.
"A 1, 2, 3 *bzzzz*" gets me every damn time.
Mehdi knows how to handle electricity and he shocks himself on purpose, what a master
At this point, there's no point in pretending you're surprised by what happens in the second one. EVERY guitar player on youtube has seen that one lol.
Hey man, what's the song for the second video? Sounds so familiar, but can't quite put my finger on it
It looks like the falling drummer was holding onto something, kinda letting his footing go to maybe lower himself to a reasonable height to kinda fall into his stool but then lost his grip, taking his footing with it. Either way it's incredible 😆😆
"Это была группа Колизей!"
