Last week I ran over my chainsaw with my tractor, I ordered a new brake handle from Amazon for $12 bucks. I didn't know how to put it on. I came across this video not only did I get a good laugh! But it was very instructional and very easy to follow along with step-by-step. And now I'm back up and running. Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this video, it's awesome👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mate your video made putting my brake handle back on so easy with step by step instructions thanks very much from Melbourne Australia 👍🏻🇦🇺
Awesome video... you gave me the confidence to successfully tackle this job. The chain brake spring reinstall solution was fantastic. Thanks very much!
Taryl, that tube spring putting on thingy was brilliant. You don't know every cuss word I've spoken and twice tryin to get that spring on. Thanks TD !
Good job Taryl you make it look easy. I always like your Taryl's Tools. You should make up a tool kit for sale and add it too your merchandise for sale.
cool tools you invent and design Taryl!
As cheesy as that was, it was still very informative. Thanks as it helped me...
I like the tool tip. That will come in handy. Thanks!
Thank you to everybody for good and nice tuition..
The 5/16 spring tool was exactly the idea I needed
that was a real good idea using the tubing to put the spring on,, I imagine that will work on other spring applications..
👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻 That’s a special tool. The highlight should be on one of ESPN’s highlights
Tubing to the rescue. 9:05 Thanks Taryl. Now I can proceed with the utmost confidence that the only thing to
deter my efforts might be the C clip going for a ride.
Reminds me of the old Newhart show in Vermont, with brothers Larry, Daryl and other brother Daryl. But almost cooked my brand new machine and brake the other day by accelerating with brake on, so all good stuff in this video. Thanks !
As always great tips and tricks . The spring tool is so smart..
Just what I needed, Thanks a bunch!
I been getting pissed off trying to get this MS361 together but the end of this vid, the ominous music at 11:28 made me lol, thanks.
Flash back Friday brought me here, good thing it did too, never seen this video. Lots of good tips on here.
I love this channel
Thanks James!
Agreed 😀😊👍🏼
Awesome spring -put-it- back -together tip. Thanks much. 72 and still learning...!
Great tip thanks for sharing it Taryl. You make it look easy but if you take your time and follow the steps you getter done so thanks.
Thanks! I was having a terrible time trying to get that long spring back on.
Great video, saved me $65,keep them coming
Sir, you are a motor wizard !!
Very informative and some comedy on the side. GREAT!!!
The 5/16 tube was a great idea! Worked like a champ.
By the way, thanks for another informative and entertaining video. It's always appreciated my friend.
Saved me some $$ Taryl thanks.
very practical video, thank you for your efforts ...
That spring kicked my ass!
made my afternoon with that one Taryl. :-) Thanks
Thanks for the tubing tip...awesome!
Good one I'll try that next time, thanks for the info
Buddy that was real easy, only took me 2 hours and a bit of sweet talkin them parts but I got er done. Wish I seen this vid LOL
haaa amazeing tool for spring ! ..even better than my brake pliers for cars .. I used.. ...well little bit easier... a lot simpler!!
What happens if you strip out the thread ? Do you know if their is a parts numbers for thread or do you know if you can use something else to keep the bolts in ??
I have the 024 AV with the Electronic Quick Stop. I got it from a coworker. The handle is broke off. My question is will this saw start with the broken handle? Seems like he dropped a tree or ran it over with his pickup just like you mentioned on the video. Help
Very nice video. 30 ft drops will break that handle for sure. MS180 only has plastic pins on the little cover. Pry gently...it'll come off easily.
Hi I have a little problem. My handle/ grip handle I don’t know the exact name but can you make a video on how to reinstall it. My saw is a Stihl
MS 180C farm boss thank you
Thanks! parts/action is similar enough to enable me to fix my broken chain brake handle on my MS660....(now if I could fix the truck I rolled......Doh!)
Is there a oil adjuster screw on a ms271?
Great video, Steve Rob sent me over. Great tips on the saw, LOL lot of video work. well done guys. Thanks Stay Safe.
Thank you for good tuition..
I probably would have used an automotive brake spring tool, but I think your method has less chance of stretching the spring. Slick! Ha ha! I knew a guy named T.J. that used to have a tree service....key words "USED TO" He wasn't very good with equipment either. lol!
I USE TO WORK FOR HARLEY DAVIDSON AND HAVE SEEN THINGS JUST LIKE THAT !
Mr. Burr looks just like my buddy who does tree removal for a living.
Poor T.J. lost his job, but I wouldn't worry the Carnival will be in town this summer and i'm sure he'll get work at the Dunk Tank
Me too.. I loved this channel..
Steve Rob sent me by, new subber now. Thanks
good stuff
Buncha burly self reliant tough men.
"Gotta wiggle it, itll come."
*entire room of giggles*
nice video
This isn't what I was looking for, but I needed the laugh. Yall stupid...lol
Grass rats garage NEEDS A ROOF bad.
chainsaw lack off lube for chain on a huskivanah
That little clip is called a "Juicy" clip. When you take one off you say "juicy where that went?"
Oh man, that comment made me laugh. I have lost a lot of juicy springs too.
Hey Taryl check out the blade balancer Doublewide6 made on his UA-cam channel. It is pretty slick.
Nothing beats having ur work be interrupted constantly by other less-prioritized commands. Let a mofo work? Thanks for the videos, cheers!!
Hello, I'm trying to put a MS361 together and I'm stuck. Where does the front end of the brake cable attach to; the S shaped end at the end of the wire? Number 15 on the exploded parts diagram: www.diyspareparts.com/parts/stihl/diagrams/ms-361c/2a8049b2-6779-4adf-a9db/
Lol

Reminds me of this 👇

Stupid comedy but good information
Which piece is designed to break if you run it with the brake in the wrong position? Fk it, I'll just take it apart anyway.
Would be a much better video without that stupid crap at the start.
Enough of the corny skits, get to the show!
never force anything. Get a bigger hammer.
Cringe-worthy and excruciatingly lame
