    Last week I ran over my chainsaw with my tractor, I ordered a new brake handle from Amazon for $12 bucks. I didn't know how to put it on. I came across this video not only did I get a good laugh! But it was very instructional and very easy to follow along with step-by-step. And now I'm back up and running. Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this video, it's awesome👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    deter my efforts might be the C clip going for a ride.

    Reminds me of the old Newhart show in Vermont, with brothers Larry, Daryl and other brother Daryl. But almost cooked my brand new machine and brake the other day by accelerating with brake on, so all good stuff in this video. Thanks !

    I have the 024 AV with the Electronic Quick Stop. I got it from a coworker. The handle is broke off. My question is will this saw start with the broken handle? Seems like he dropped a tree or ran it over with his pickup just like you mentioned on the video. Help

  • @Icehso140
    @Icehso140 2 роки тому

    Very nice video. 30 ft drops will break that handle for sure. MS180 only has plastic pins on the little cover. Pry gently...it'll come off easily.

    I probably would have used an automotive brake spring tool, but I think your method has less chance of stretching the spring. Slick! Ha ha! I knew a guy named T.J. that used to have a tree service....key words "USED TO" He wasn't very good with equipment either. lol!
