    This is awesome! Thank you for providing some behind the scenes access on how the machine works!! Would also love one on the medical guys with in game injuries, etc. How stuff works is so interesting!

    Difficult to comprehend the amount of work the equipment group does and I imagine thankless AF!! Your excellent work is on display every time a player steps on the ice!

    I did this for a Junior team many years back. I didn't have 1/100 of the responsibilities these crews have. Huge kudos to how well they take care of the players and how much work really goes into it.

      They don’t. But they should. I’m sure they are salary. If you actually calculated the amount of hours they work, they likely make less than $20/hr.

    Grossly underpaid and it’s crazy these guys don’t have better pay and unions the way the refs and more so players do.

    As someone who is trying to become a pro equipment manger it’s the only I’ve dreamed of doing being a equipment manger for a senior AA team up in Canada been doing for free for 5 years wouldn’t dream of doing anything else
