I got my 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES (the ES in the US), and it's yellow. I am enjoying it! I've had it for a month. No heated seats, or fog lights. But that's okay. I do plan on making it look a tad more interesting on the inside, instead of the base look. Might just get some seat covers, and maybe yellow trim for the doors and dash inside. Or I might just leave it. We will see! (:
Dropping the manual transmission option in the States is a deal breaker for me. These cars were much more appealing when they were highly discounted in the States, too. I bought a 2017 ES manual for $9,299 brand new ($9,299/$14,220 window sticker price = 65.4% window sticker price). My OTD price was $10,153.73. If I had qualified for the three $500 rebates (loyalty, VIP, & military), my Mirage would have been $7,799 (55% window sticker) brand new! Adding features/cost to this car just makes the Mirage less appealing to me. 6+ years later I have zero regrets, but today's pricing would cause me to consider a used one versus new. All trim levels in the States have had power windows, power locks, and A/C. Base models received cruise control in 2019+, but cruise control can be added to any older model.
You have to realize they can't build and ship a car to the consumer and only charge them $10,000 dollars for it. You got a great deal but certainly you must know that can't last or Mitsubishi would be out of business.
@@BillySBC They were that price from 2017 to early 2021. Last good deal I know of was $10,400 OTD for a brand new updated yellow Mirage ES manual in 2021, & that price included a Minnesota dealership delivering the car to their North Carolina home. My deal was not a one time thing or a fluke!
Top line trim model is more pleasing to the eye 1000%! LEDs, chrome and black accents, push to start, and waaay better rims! Blackout build could look insane...
I just noticed, your version of the ES in Canada doesn't have forward collision mitigation, but here in the US we have it on the base model. Weird. And the ES here also doesn't have heated seats, the only trim level that has them is the SE.
Things are a little different in the US. Our ES has steel wheels, which I actually prefer, even if they don't look as fancy. No heated seats, which I don't need. It's hot enough here. I'm not into appearance. I'm into functionality, reliability, & affordability. That's why I think the base model Mirage is the best car in the world. Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Impreza were considerations, but the price of the Mirage, the mpgs, and how tiny it is won me over.
I saw an article that rated it at about 175K miles, a tiny bit below Honda Civic & Toyota Corolla, and dramatically better than Nissan Versa or Hyundai Elantra. Most reports from owners that I've heard of the Mirage has them going over 200K. Price & average life in miles had the Mirage rated mathematically as the # 1 car in the US market.
Mitsubishi Mirage "KING OF THE ROAD" - GREATEST ECONOMY CAR EVER
Agreed :)
Nope, the Prius C does.
That "base"-model is already a lot nicer than the one I got. I don't even have buttons on the steering wheel.
Why do you want buttons on the steering wheel?
I have a 22 Mirage G4 SE (top trim level) and love it. 45 MPG while delivering in it.
Nice :)

How much?
Congrats on your new car. You can buy aftermarket heated seat covers that plug into the lighter.
After tax/fees/registration it was $19,951. Before fees/tax/registration it was $18,110. @@juliegill9322
Thanks! I am looking for one actually. It's a heated, and cooled cover, to hopefully vibrate as well. @@bigmacdaddy1234
Sorry for late reply. But my car was $18,110 before tax, registration, and fees. After all the fees and stuff, about $19,956.11. @@juliegill9322
Mine is wine red. I hadn’t seen them in black before. Looks good. 👍

I’m kind of shock that base level still gives features from 40 years ago.
Specially in europe.
I'm so disappointed about the fact they don't offer manual shift. I'd pay extra for it just to get it as an Option

Interesting..
Good looking small car. They’ve done a long way. I’d definitely consider one
Very good car!
Hi, does Noir or GT trim have telescoping adjustment on steering wheel ?
I heard 2024 will be the last year model. Wondering when is last day i can buy from manufacturer. May have to email them
Instead of Mitsubishi Mirage, I'm now considering Nissan Kicks but higher possibility of me buying another Nissan Rogue instead.

Interesting. Thanks for the comment
hey, Tinker Toys made a car!
You forgot to mention that only the GT has lane departure warning and forward collision mitigation.
Yes, thanks for mentioning that.
Yes, more systems to fail.
i think i would get a fully loaded mirage over a fully loaded versa however.
Agreed :)
a center console would be nice but sure you could get after market
Probably.
Amazon
weird cos i just ordered this one here in erin mills but es doesnt have any fog lights
Different markets probably are different specked
Good thanks
Thank you for watching and commenting
Do the speakers sound any better in the GT
Same 4 speakers on all trim levels.
Can a sunroof be added as an option?
No
Wonder what the 0-60 is on the gt.
Worth testing :)
the versa is slightly cheaper and well equipped.... i would say i would prefer the versa 5 speed vs the mirage stick.
Thank you for your comment!
Whats the average miles for life of this car?

Very hard to say..
4,500 dollar difference in canada between es and gt. Hard to decide. Even harder to find a white es
Yeah.. They are not easy to come by..
That’s not an es it has alloy wheels
He's in Canada. Their ES must get alloy. In the US, the ES has steel wheels.
meanwhile the german base model doesnt have multifunctional steering wheel no display and not even ac
That’s how base used to be some years ago in Canada as well
Great Car for the wallet 🚗
My 2024 mirage has hubcaps. It's embarrassing.
Upgrade them to alloys:)
is she a 4wd
unfortunately... (it's under 20k)
Yes 4wd plus front and rear lockers and disconnecting sway bars as well as bead locked wheels/tires.
6x6
Hope will sell also in philippines
Should be a turbo
Yes please:)
se is not base model. se is top tier of the base models.
Trim levels probably vary based on market
I hate marketing departments…
Ill take the features without all the ricer crap
:)
Unacceptable...
Let's check out the back
We're looking at passenger side
Your hands are distracting throughout video
Ouch..
Mitsubishi mirage is discontinued for 2025. Tinny obsolete. Good riddance
My next car possibly will be a Nissan Versa.
