also just to add on to this. in octopus half guard the same movement can be used. also if someone has side control on you and you push his elbow away marcelo garcia teaches an escap from there. also bernardo faria in deep half guard he goes for the faria sweep but if they move all their weight to the other side and you cant sweep them then it opens up the turkish get up 😌 its a very good movement 👍
