nice job handi buddy . you know you should try to cook on it with just the ring like you did . i dont think its a flaw . i think its designed to give it enough air to just keep it burning but with out flames . kinda like when you close the dampener on a wood stove . but i could be wrong . but it would be a good test . use a good cast iron pan cause you dont want to burn up that nice little pan you have . but if i had to guess i think it would keep the fire just burning enough to keep it alive but flameless . ether way great little stove buddy .
I haven't been seeing your videos even though I have it subbed to all videos. Gotta catch up on one of my favorite channels! LOL. I really love my homemade gasifier stoves. A Progresso soup can and a 1 quart new paint can and they mate up perfect. All you need is a drill and the right amount of holes and the right size and it works perfect. I haven't found a good design for a gallon can.
Hey! Nice pan!👍🏻😉 Isn't that stove a gasifier? Shouldn't there be flames becoming out of those top holes? Maybe they were and just didn't see them. Other than that, how things going? It's been awhile.
Nicely done.👍

Iits a pretty cool little fire pit. I’ve messed with it quite a bit. Definitely cooks better and longer by putting something on top to let air flow.
@@handicamper101 YOUR THE MAN HANDI !

this one works great when it gets hot enough. add a spacer to the top and it. cooks to. thanks for stopping in my friend..
A cheap trivet from a dollar store would fit on the top and cure the gap situation.
Thanks for the review
Thanks for stopping by.
