Nice little fire pit. I settled on the small Walmart stove/pit. No need to spend big money on the Solo with these inexpensive ones around. Nicely done!👍
Hey there. I like your video. I like gasifier stoves and even have one cheap chinese knockoff TOMSHOO woodstove. One observation and one experince (with pellets) i´d share. I think you put ashtray upside down. If that bulge would be upwards, you wouldn´t have problems sitting pellet chimney in the middle. I have tried pellets on that cheap stove(no chimney) with top down fire and worked perfectly. i Just filled half an inch below upper holes with pellets. Sprinkled some alcohol(for desinfecting hands-covid times) and light it. Burned for 45 min with no maintance( and its smaller stove i think) Thank you for video. Keep doing your passion and good luck.
Awesome. Thank you for the information. My fire pit didn’t come with any directions, and I haven’t use pellets or the pellet chimney that came with it yet. 👍👍
I think the pellet chamber would stay if you turned the bottom tray over that has the holes in it. My gasifier stove never produces too much ash as it turns the wood to charcoal as it only burns the gas out the upper ports. The wood doesn't even look like it's burning most of the time as when it gets going the gas is all you see burning up top. Not sure why that stove doesn't take off and burn the gas?
So other than burning up small chunks of wood what is it good for? Can I boil water or cook with it? Would a coffee pot on top kill the draft and smother the fire? It looks interesting but your video doesn't show much of a use for it other than a static handwarmer.
Will be doing other test on it soon. My main use for it is to use it as a fire pit to sit around when camping somewhere that there is not a designated fire pit. Thanks for stopping in I appreciate it.
Glad you tested it out but can it do anything other that put off heat put off heat put off heat 😂 what good is it if it can’t boil water or cook a meal 🥴
It can definitely do all the above. This video was just to show what it was intended to be . A smokeless fire pit. There will be more videos showing what else you can use it for. Thanks for stopping in. 👍👍
Love the sounds of Chickadee in the background. Thank you for reviewing this smokeless fire pit.
Thank you. Appreciate you stopping by.

Wondering if a Kelly Kettle, base model, would fit well on top , kinda best of both worlds then
should work fine. i'll be doing some more videos on it soon.
I was thinking same.I have the trekker kelly kettle and the kettle is to small to fit inside ring base..perhaps scout or base camp may fit.
@@josephsedlock9817 I posted an update video showing me cooking on it. ua-cam.com/video/RPwHFwiwSQE/v-deo.htmlsi=FzCxfA7tYTZkmby8
Pretty cool firebowl.. puts out some nice flames with little amount wood. Likely could even cook on top of it.
Most definitely. 👍👍

it definitely takes a minute before if takes off.as soon as it gets hot enough it does right.lol.

You don't see those holes on the side😂
