Its great, the flame gets diverted and concentrated into the opening, but it can draw additional air for combustion through the holes.

You are always full of surprises! When I first saw the new fire ring full of holes, I wondered how it would work compared with the older solid one.The new one really does work well! I thought the flames would work their way out through all of the holes, but the flame still somehow stays inside the ring and gets funneled out through the top opening. It seems to help build the flame up more at the top of the pit instead of down inside.

Have you looked at using a perforated drum from a clothes dryer? It would be larger than your usual projects but offer creative opportunities. This is another terrific system. A wood stove with infrastructure; so many combinations and possibilities. Sincere thanks. Peace brother.

이번 주말 캠핑을 다녀와서 불멍을 했는데, 이걸 보니까 제 불멍은 너무 초라해보이네요 ... 대리 만족하고 갑니다ㅎㅎ
초라할 것이 있겠습니까, ^^ 개개인마다 만족도가 다르고 취향이 다를것입니다. 불씨까지 보면서 불멍하시기엔 일반 화로대가 나을 것 같고 큰 불을 보면서 불멍하시기엔 이런 깡통형이 나을 것 같습니다. 아무쪼록 대리만족 하셨다니 감사합니다🤗
So many fun projects! Thats Great! One day i hope you figure out the "magic" stove! That you can mass produce for many enthusiests. Question, the top fire ring ... The restrictor ring... What is its purpose and how does it improve the fire? I guess it just focuses the fire. I like that idea with the punch ring. That adds a lot of class. I guess that acts as a heat retainer also for a better and more complete burn. Man i love your work! I dont have access to a lot of stainless materials i am in a remote village in Nevada. But stove pipes are readily available and i have a bunch of tire rims. 🤔🤔🤔... The pot holder fits great in the rim and the rim fits great on the stove pipe! Im off and running now! 😁
Thank you. The ring concentrates and stabilizes the fire. And the flame seen through the holes is aesthetic. I like this very much and will continue to use this ring in the future. There will be many better ideas. Create your own work by adding your own materials and ideas. I am sure. You will be satisfied.

Many urban area have stores that carry both new and used restaurant equipment, some of which is pretty reasonable! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Mike Gustafson yes, but that container with the latching top would be ideal for conversion to a portable firepit for,camping and I am not finding anything like that locally...
It is a container for large amounts of food. It has a double structure for thermal insulation. I know this is readily available in Korea. Hope you can find something like this.

Хорошее видео! Многое можно понять и увидеть. Мне кажется нужно увеличить диаметр отверстий, выходящих в зону горения, или их количество как минимум удвоить. Учитывай пропускную способность входных отверстий внизу относительно выходных вверху, а также расширение воздуха. На краях зоны горения есть приток воздуха. В середине нет. Труба 80-90 мм. в центре печи закрытая сверху и имеющая отверстия по всей длине для подачи воздуха в середину зоны горения из под дна? Вполне возможно пиролизный газ будет гореть в середине лучше.
Это очень технически полезный комментарий. Я собираюсь использовать это как замену костра, поэтому я не буду применять это сразу, но это будет большой помощью для других проектов в будущем.

My flame is very small. What must the ratio between primary air and secondary air be that the flame becomes so big? Thanks for the answer!

primary : Secondary = 2 : 1 in this case.

I thought that way also. If so you will see secondary flame much clear in orange or yellow color with soots. That is because too much unburned wood gas remains after primary combustion. If you want increase flame higher and cleaner, primary combustion should work well, then you will see clear seconday flame in purple or kind of blue color. This is what I have observed during my test. Hope you understand my explanation. Sorry for poor English! 😅

Totally missed this one, such a cool thing, not really what it started from but the result is very nice, I'm sure it is definitely more efficient than any usual grill, for how many hours can you keep one load of wood burning?
This is fast burning campfire stove. The first fuel releases about 30 minutes of burning flame and an additional 30 minutes of heat. In the form of charcoal. However, with the second supplement, the heat lasts longer due to the increased amount of charcoal.

A fine anni 60 ho ancora un drammatico ricordo avvenuto in famiglia.
Si è sfiorata la tragedia!
Avevamo acceso un fuoco e poi avevamo messo il bracere al centro della stanza. Ricordo che c'era molto freddo.
Mai lasciare un fuoco senza prese d'aria o un po di finestra aperta mai più senza un camino!
Ricordo che due miei fratelli stettero male.. Eravamo ragazzini.
Mio padre e mia madre erano in altre stanze la casa era molto grande e questo ha permesso che non avvenisse la tragedia.
Ma chi stava in prossimità del bracere ha rischiato molto.
Uno dei mie fratelli si alzò ma si senti male e fortunatamente mia mamma venne a vedere, capi subito ciò che stava avvenendo. Spalancò porte e finestre.
Fortunatamente si ripresero tutti.. Penso che la mano di qualcuno abbia evitato la tragedia.
Io avevo appena otto anni e non ero in quella stanza ma quando sentii i movimenti in casa andai subito a vedere.
Perciò attenzione quindi alle stufe bracieri o stufe pirolitiche!
Accertatevi sempre che vi siano prese d'aria o un camino.
Guai a chi non lo fa.
La tragedia è silenziosa non ci si accorge mai del pericolo essendo l'anidride inodore.
Puoi finire per terra senza renderticonto.
Questo è un firepit da campeggio all'aperto. Capisco e apprezzo quello che hai vissuto. Grazie.

표준 bmp 8호랑(내경 23) 표준 bmp6호(외경22.5) 조합해서 해보려고 하는데 안될까요???

가능은 합니다. 그냥 포개서 만드시는건 안되고 10호와 9호 제작시 처럼 틈새를 세라믹로프나 BMP뚜껑 등을 잘라서 막아야 합니다.^^

안녕하세요, 우선 우드스토브와 화목난로 같은 의미로 보시면 되구요, 아마 연통 달아서 연기 배출되는 형태를 말씀하신 것으로 생각됩니다. 최근에 놀펀님이 로켓스토브를 이뿌게 만드셨더라구요. 👍👍 지금 불멍화로에 상부통 추가하고 연통 설치하면 난방용 화로(로켓스토브)가 가능 할 것입니다^^ 다만 화력 조절을 하려면 외통에 공기 조절이 가능하고 화구문또는 장작투입구를 다시 해야 할 듯 합니다. 제가 지금 그런 난로가 가능할지 생각 중입니다 😅

@@user-zt1it1pi7p 네. 잘됐네요 ^^ 사실 캠핑투게더 캠프라는 정보공유차 만든 네이버 카페가 있습니다. 이중국통 같은 경우 지난주까지 4차에 걸친 공구가 있었어요. 처음엔 국통만 했는데, 나중에는 국통회사에서 제작이 가능한 형태로 파이어링까지 묶어서 공구를 했었어요. 그나저나 카페를 통한 공구와는 별개로 요즘도 관련 제품 구매하시는분이 많으신가봅니다. 김경수님께는 공구가 끝난시점이라 직접 링크를 알려드린거예요. ^^ 얼마나 많은 분들이 제작을 하시는지... 살다보니 이런 일도 있네요... 업체분 말씀 전달해주셔서 감사하구요. 제작중에 궁금한점등은 네이버카페로 오셔서 다른 구독자님들 제작하신 거 참고하시면 도움이 되실겁니다. I see the primary and obvious secondary combustion but do not see conclusive evidence of any tertiary (3rd) combustion from the use of a perforated concentrator ring. If you like please reference a specific video time and I'll look again. If another goal is to boil water quickly consider adding a dress around your pot so the flames and heat go up the dress-skirt between the pot and dress. It would be nice if the 3rd combustion was realized, but I did not expect it. Using this stove instead of a bonfire, I looked for accessories suitable for Korean cuisine. The video you linked to was helpful. Thank you so much!🙏🇰🇷
@@campingtogether You are welcome - consider testing the stainless cone concentrator @13:53 with grate but place tertiary air holes below the grate. Good luck. BTW the tertiary combustion will be hard to observe with the naked eye because of clean combustion but over a period the metal near and around the tertiary air hole will turn white-hot. Good luck!
