He hasn't yet. But he may be this year. He's showing signs of slowing down, hiding and refused bugs for the first time ever this week. I'm waiting for him to poo so I can bring a sample to the vet.
I'm glad it helped!!! Since you have a female, when they lay a clutch you'll want to make sure they all get out. They can lay bunch!!! Maybe I should do a vid on the spring about springtime stuff... including egg laying and what egg binding it.
@chrisg2419 - i don't have exp with leopard geckos to make a vid; otherwise, I would happily! Here's a vid link to Leopard Gecko Talks' video on leopard geckos brumating. I hope you find this helpful. ua-cam.com/video/Phj2zSPn8Zs/v-deo.htmlsi=paWNzlTMYot61M6v
@chrisg2419 ! A creator i follow did a video on brumation in general. She does talk about leopard geckos in it and thought I'd share the link for you! ua-cam.com/video/FL7HWbXC7HY/v-deo.htmlsi=YNmtSaw-SKxFDpMO
My little guy is a year old and has been switching back forth between his warm hide and the cool side and sleeping till noon. His lights automatically go off at 8pm and he usually comes out at 9am.
If they're going into brumation you'll want to take a fecal sample to the vet to make sure they aren't sick. If clear, it could be brumation, since they're over a year old.
