About the "FOMO" for the stun-baton, it should be pointed out that items in the store rotate. "The most painful lessons are the ones that stick" Whelp, Sony has PLENTY of Goo Gone. I can only hope that Arrowhead won't suffer from their horrid mistake much longer.
Oh but the squeeze has begun. 1975 SC for one armor set, one weapon, and some cosmetics from what should have been a warbond is ridiculous. The Concord Tax has begun and it will get worse before it gets better.
10:22 You aint even lying my friends and I usually play on impossible and occasionally helldive playing against the illuminates we had to drop the difficulty to extreme and the first mission we played we couldnt even do half of the objectives.
The Arrowhead cycle reset in the time it took you to make and ship this video. Obvious failure > backlash > single step in right direction > forgiveness > start over. They're already trying to charge more than 600 credits for a single weapon in their store. They're not going to change. This studio went from my favorite to my black list in under a year by doing the same thing again and again. The longer consumers are gullible, the lower they'll go.
But at the same time, how much of these negative events were because of Arrowhead themselves. The only one we can confidently blame on them is the poor balancing the game experienced for a while. But the PSN, and the overpriced items weren’t (likely) due to them, but Sony. People suspect the item prices weren’t their fault because in the files, it shows a Killzone war bond. Which means that initially it was supposed to be a collab war bond. Which also means this change is likely due to Sony’s interference. The studio themself has only shown constant growth (with the CEO willing to step down to be more involved with the dev etc.), and adding and changing things the community wanted
As long as they don't make the game avialable where they removed it I keep my negative review. And sony is on my blacklist. Honestly with how expensive games are. Beeing more hostile towards big game devs who do things you don't agree with can help save money or put it more effectively in other games that interest you.
Okay, I'm gonna say my 2 cents here. The Killzone Collab is not as big of a deal you might think it is, mainly, because of one key factor I see, that being that the Killzone armor and weapon. Now, Super Credits can be farmed, it's a very slow farm, but if you wanna build up some Super Credits, it's an option. But given the free content the game has cranked out, I am more than willing to help. Now, I am not concerned about it one bit so long as one thing stays true. The Killzone armor and such are just _in Superstore Rotation._ Basically meaning, that this isn't their only time in the shop, so if say, your not quite willing to shell out the cash right away, you can pick it up later. Also, the devs are looking into reworking the SuperStore, and relooking at how how their microtranasctions are working. Frankly, I think they just honestly fumbled this one.
Agreed it's not as bad as the community reaction makes it seem. Game isn't ruined or anything over optional content. They just need to get their prices right and not put weapons in the super store.
@@memes_the_dna_of_the_soul5487 It still sets an unease in me. Back when the game started they basically stated only cosmetics would be in the superstore. But here we are where they first put the stun button melee weapon, and now plan to have 3 primaries for the collab be set in the store. Oh and let’s not forget stratagems being in the warbonds too. Yeah sure we can farm SC but at the rate you can get farming and for all these warbonds and store things combined? It definitely seems not worth the time to get so much for a newer player.
Helldivers 2 can be a lot of fun at times, but it is a super buggy mess. And that's putting it lightly. I can't land with the jump pack without it causing my Helldiver to go tumbling over due to impact with the air. The extreme ragdolling has caused my Helldiver to fuse with the ground upon impact on several occasions, resulting in me temporarily navigating mission maps while stuck in the prone position (back against the ground). I've had my Helldiver get stuck in a perpetual falling animation due to getting trapped in the most stupidest places-like a tiny divet between a tree and a boulder, or an extremely thin gap between a rockface and barricade. I've even had my Helldiver go flying off the ship to his death during a successful exfiltration. And don't get me started on the horrible hit reg! I've shot so many enemies point blank and watched as the projectiles phase right through them, with absolutely zero effect. This is all happening on the latest patch of Helldivers 2. This game has been out for too long to have so many persistent bugs and glitches.
ive only gotten 10 super credits per pick up for like months now, that was nerfed back in the early daays because frankly, it was really easy to get to 1000
And no PSN access countries still won't have the ability to buy it and those who did will eventually lose access to it, unfortunately for arrowhead Sony still has them in their grasp and has managed to manipulate its existing community to be satisfied about not pushing for PSN linking FOR NOW They never said never, hopefully they don't but its sony
Loving PoE2, but hate to break it to you, the slow deliberate gameplay with the souls-like bosses.... that's just untill you break the barrier a bit. And you'll be twinking every subsequent alt to break that even sooner. After that happens, all the carefull work the devs put into the bossess, doesn't matter anymore because you'll be running and killing in a flash again, just like in every other ARPG. I loved the first 20 hours though. It just doesn't make it through. Also, with the mapping, that would become tedious. And they know this, because you loose your map after 1 attempt. Where I would die to bosses for an hour to just to beat them. It was great! But that's just a little bit of the game.
Game is still packaged with a rootkit for PC users, can we stop heaping blind praise on a team that ignores a clear cut problem with their product just because the game says "lol democwacy xD"? I could almost swear this channel has turned into Helldiver News.
At no point the incoming faction was a mystery. It was known since launch that it was gonna happen at some point later in the development. The genius is more the fact they are using this kind of event to keep playerbase opinion positive while milking them with new microtransactions with every single new update.... The game is already 60 bucks, so yeah it's a bit scummy to add more than 10$ of microtransaction with every new update (and not just for cosmectics, it's actually a price wall locking new gameplay elements like stratagems). Arrowhead is just going downhill in term of business practice and joining all other bullshit live service games.... Which is definitely disappointing.
I disagree with the idea that player counts are representative of the quality of the game, and is in fact detrimental to the health of the game if taken seriously by any developer. This is a PvE game with lots of repetitive gameplay supported by a smaller dev team who can barely put out a small content patch every month. This is the kind of game that most people will play for a bit, leave, and then come back when there is something new. This is not the kind of game that uses tricks like FOMO events or excessive progression mechanics that are designed purely to boost player numbers so the publisher has a good metric to share with their stock holders. Those kinds of games have lots of players who have more hours in the game, but less hours actually having FUN in said game. This is basically like saying game X is a better game than game Y because game X takes 50 hours to complete while game Y only takes 6 hours. The playtime (or player count) has no bearing on the quality of the game, and making changes with the desire to boost this arbitrary metric can actively make the game worse.
I'm surprised the backlash against the devs giga-nerfs didn't kill the game. Wasn't there a lot of doomposting around that time? and why does it feel like the game is being marketed as if it's only releasing just now? lol
It did for me. Couldn't take them killing every fun weapon in the game. Balance in pve is a meme. Two months was all I could give to a game that has nothing other than extraction mode.
Because they did a massive balance rework over a 2 month period. And the reason it’s getting remarketed is from the pattern, every MAJOR update adds a sub title, signifying that it’s a big update. And yeah, the illuminates are huge freakin deal
The nerfs took me from steamrolling the game to there being some actual challenge on higher difficulties. People who were complaining about nerfs just needed to turn down the difficulty to something matching their skill level.
Personal sentiment was remembering the devs insulting us for not liking the way they wanted us to play, calling us names on discord when we point out that the constant nerfs are bad, the rebalance of enemies was bad and the game was getting less fun with every update. Im done with helldivers, i refuse to believe they made a new faction anything less than not fun to play against, like spamming bot drops while getting kicked for not following the current meta
I do not trust you on this topic. And others shouldn’t either. And that makes me really sad, because I like your content. I am playing the crap out of the game, but my friends and I all refused to spend more money until Sony allows the game to be sold in this 177 countries again.

What about the 170+ servers being blacklisted and players from said servers not being able to play?
Where do I find those "slow moving tanky zombies" you mention in the video?
The Voteless I was facing are fast and squishy.
People came for the campain but stayed because the game is at its peak

Whelp, Sony has PLENTY of Goo Gone. I can only hope that Arrowhead won't suffer from their horrid mistake much longer.
I'm still trying to decide between Helldivers and Space Marine 2.
We are back as fuck.
Checks if HD2 is available to purchase in the countries they originally released to -> still no -> I still am not diving, I ain't no sheep.
Interesting day to post a video with that title.
If they fixed the crashes ill be back
CDPR, thinking of Cyberpunk: "Excuse me, what?"
It's been funny to see the fluctuating WE'RE SO BACK and IT'S SO OVER MAN with the Helldiver community in just the span of the week
I still can't support any sony published games while they are still banning it in more then half the countries in the world for no valid reason.
they will patch spawn rates etc in a few weeks to flush this all down the drain same as they did just after launch
Still not available to my steam ,
The Illuminate and Killzone collab in one week is wild. They got me back full-time with that.
Hair transplant is looking real good my dude.
It's the holidays, it's only superficial. They can study all they want, if they don't come to this conclusion there will be nothing of value learned.
Killzone Colab is launching as a major fail (pricing, etc)...so get ready for the review bombs
that ad was a bit long
Went from the highest highs to the lowest lows. Then they tore their way to the top again
We gonna have a review bomb 2.0
So we have bots bugs and aliens if they have a fourth, should it be mammals like animals with a military? or something like orcs?
The Killzone armor and such are just _in Superstore Rotation._
Basically meaning, that this isn't their only time in the shop, so if say, your not quite willing to shell out the cash right away, you can pick it up later.
@@memes_the_dna_of_the_soul5487
It still sets an unease in me.
It definitely seems not worth the time to get so much for a newer player.
they do need a superstore rework imo, as time goes on it will take longer to reach the same page the next time
I dont care about the price. I care about the weapons just sucking ass. I dont want another liberator bro.
I'm not diving until everybody can dive again. Fck that Sony greed!
And now we are having a problem with the crossover. Stuffs are too expensive for a paid game.
Aaand they immediately threw the regained goodwill down the drain by releasing a pack of ridiculously overpriced content in the super store.

If they reversed the region lock they'd be golden
That’s Sony’s fuck up. Arrowhead has no power over Sony.
Did they unblock the blocked countries yet?
where is the stun baton
Now the question is can they keep it?
The stun baton sucks, it’s exactly the same as the lance
Boutta fall down a cliff again with this collab stunt they are pulling lmao
More power to em
And how to they capitalize on the resurgence? More predatory monetization!
Hail Super Earth
Will not play this game until they reverse the country restrictions.
They nerfed the super credit spawn rates and how much you get to 10 only and didn’t tell anyone
@chadjohnson2035 that is not true you can still get 100 credit packs
ive only gotten 10 super credits per pick up for like months now, that was nerfed back in the early daays because frankly, it was really easy to get to 1000

And no PSN access countries still won't have the ability to buy it and those who did will eventually lose access to it, unfortunately for arrowhead Sony still has them in their grasp and has managed to manipulate its existing community to be satisfied about not pushing for PSN linking FOR NOW
They never said never, hopefully they don't but its sony
Tell me
Have they fixed that nonsense sony tried to force? Cause im not going back if it means that other regions are stil locked out of the game
Too bad they started going down the greed lane
You didnt mention the actual issue was the furry discord mod.
OH THE BAD TIMING
Damn, further from failure.
Holy cow that ad lol… way to make poe2 look like Poe 2 a mobile throw away lol
and yet over 100 countries still cant play ya no not coming back without other divers
Quality
Do they still have rootkit access on PC? There were other things that even stopped me from buying it on ps5
Most online PC games have that, people just refuse to believe it. EAC being a great example and people dgaf about games using that.
Let me remove cape, its distracting and the physics look shit
Me waiting for it to come Xbox
Having “it’s back” on the thumbnail is clickbait, it’s still banned in most of the world
Still needs the 180 countries to be able to play the game again but sony is still being weird...
Then new expensive super store items drop and its so joever 😂 (its fine)
Yeah, people just can't stop crying. Addicted to drama xD
Did they fix the sony fuck ups with accounts? Can global steam access it as they should be able to?
Nope. PSN still hasn’t been fixed (and honestly, I don’t think they’re planning too, which sucks)
I do not trust you on this topic. And others shouldn’t either.
And that makes me really sad, because I like your content.
I am playing the crap out of the game, but my friends and I all refused to spend more money until Sony allows the game to be sold in this 177 countries again.
Still need a sony account?
