When I saw Fogarty Store it brought a rush of nostalgia and tears to my eyes. I can remember my dear aunt, recently died, taking me there when I was a young child. I can’t remember most of the places now but Rob Street reminds me a little bit of some areas I have seen in Rome on a recent visit, and the place generally looks vibrant and modern. Thank you.
Love watching your tour of the city i haven't been in Guyana since 2008 but your tour keeps me informed of the nuance of around the city thank you for sharing ❤
After leaving Guyana for 34 years and now looking at your rob street and regent street transformation it all reminds me of the time past of ever business day I would in the city hustling to find a products for our groceries store, nothing was accomplished without a bribe! Even if you had a reserve quota at the Guyana stores ! O memories of Guyana back then, it’s a shame to think of what Guyana could have been, keep up your informative posts, good luck
Thanks for the video. Having lived on Robb street, I am comparing it to what it was in 1958 when I first started living there. I can now use the video, to show my Canadian Children my personal youthful exploits and where me & wife met for our first lunch prior to marriage decades ago. Guyana is very far from becoming a great place but it is getting there. Allah's Blessings to you and family.
Nice video 👍 the drive thru market is slowing up the traffic 🚦and I think they should put more working traffic lights 🚦in the busy intersection 😊 just my opinion 👍👍✋
Keep up this excellent work. Again, I enjoyed this vlog and the history piece of St. George’s Cathedral. I think you meant to say Anglican when describing it’s denomination. I went to church there and the schoool by the same name which was across from it. Please try to detail any abbreviation of buildings, places or the like as it helps those who are lookin for the first time to understand what it is being mentioned e.g. NBS - New Building Society and The Cenotaph being a war memorial, whether both world wars I’m not sure. A little more explanation would make your vlogs even more awesome as you did when you mentioned in detail about the Indian Memorial. Keep doing just that. If I may, you could have mentioned that Bourda Market is the smaller of two such markets in the city, the other being Stabroek, located at the south end of Water St. and Brickdam I believe. And, there is some history on it if you plan to also do a piece. The Muneshwer and Guyana Stores buildings, not to mention some other’s that were not seen are badly in need of a make over, especially a paint job. They are prominent and should be forced to commence such work. Come on proprietors, take a little pride in ownership. As to the Bourda Market traffic situation, it definitely is irresponsible for users to stop and shop causing a congestion without consideration for others who have to use that portion. The Mayor & Town Council should be made by lodging complaints to have a constable posted to ensure there’s a smooth flow of traffic along Robb St. Hand out tickets or warnings to violators. Saw the American Home & Beauty Center which replaced the Metropole Cinema where I worked back in the 70’s. What a nice, huge building. Can’t wait to see your vlog on the Museum in Georgetown. I think this would be great!
A good & quick picturesque shots of Robb st. Should go a little slower so we can absorb the changes oil money has made. People are not starving& looking forward to real progress for all as the revenues come in.
I can't believe people actually shop whilst sitting in their cars, holding up traffic without any consideration for others, just awful, the mayor needs to fix that.

Your video of a downtown tour of Georgetown is the best👌 I have seen so far. Due to the fact that the camera was placed on top of the vehicle.
I would to add that " Guyana stores was formally Bookers before It had been nationalized under Burham's administration
Really enjoyed this and amazing editing.
Thank you for watching and Subscribing 😊

The show should tell viewers which direct the vehicle is travelling, and the names of the cross roads .
Nice
People in Guyana have no compassion for other people, just doing the same thing every where you go
Georgetown is bursting at the seams. No parking; traffic congestion. Need under or overhead parking!
❤

I like your videos, but please, St George's is not Angelican, it's Anglican.
Grammatical error...thank you 😊
👍👍🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾

Gotta say Georgetown looks weird with all respect it doesn’t really look like a city
More like different streets put together
