I'm thankful to say that the koi is doing well although the growth I was unable (too uncomfortable) to remove is still about the same it doesn't seem to bother her. I might take another crack at what remains when I'm ready to bring her back indoors for the winter. I'll have to wait and see.
Oh no... You have done an excellent job Hopefully this will cure that fungal issue on dorsal. Thats a long operation, I would be so nervous putting her out again Liquid nitrogen should work well.. safe area to use it too I bet she is happy to be out of the quarantine tank and back in the main pond
I'm always a bit nervous when sedating any of my fish but it comes down to knowing your fish and what to watch out for such as gill movement, etc. I checked on her a few times since moving her out and she definitely seems happy to be in the outdoor pond again.
@@KoiRun50 Checked on her a few minutes ago and she is doing well. Where I removed the tissue is quite inflamed but that is to be expected seeing as it has only been a few hours since the surgery. Hopefully she'll continue to improve throughout the summer.
Wow an amazing job, Ken! You missed your calling as a veterinarian 👍I am not sure if I could do that.
