The Hoysala dynasty founded in Angadi village of Chikmagalur district, so technically Hoysalas were Chikmagalurians..

Good informative video, Please mention Chikkamagaluru has Train connectivity directly from Bengaluru, nearest station Kadur is not necessary.
From bangalore yashvanthpur 2:30 train is there. It reaches at 10:30 pm at chikmagalur station

I have been to Wayanad. It is too over rated. The natural scenery is being destroyed due to rampant corruption and commercial operations. All you can see there are beef 🥩 shops

Also nearest railway station is in chikmagaluru itself. Kadur railway station is what we used to take back in the days.. since 5 years now, we have a railway station at chikmagaluru

Kondajji varadarajaswamy towering 18' is worth the trouble visiting which is 15 KMS from Hassan towards Halebeed. Exquiste carving, Hoysala period. Many more times beautiful than Belur Chennakeshava!!!
