I love your videos. Watching you working along doesn’t feel like watching an instructor. Everybody now seems wanting to learn complex crafting in under 5 minutes. There’s no hassle in your vids, it reminds me sitting in my grandma‘s kitchen in my childhood, where cooking, crafting and living took place...and you still could learn a bunch from it. Dear Anna, can’t tell you how much I needed your video this morning.... it is 8:43 here in Illinois. I am in my quilt room madly working on a little bag for one of my friends daughter. It was originally a last minute request then it was a crises request could she have it two days early... I am in my pajamas. With a cup of coffee trying to finish this thing I see a mistake and want to start over and your voice says ... things don’t always go right in the beehive🙂. I keep going..." Anna, this was such a fun video. I must admit some times I look at the things behind you. It looks as if you have surrounded yourself with things you love, as well as some of your favorite projects. You inspire me to try new things. A friend sent me my first wool project recently. I started it, but the pain of RA got in my way. Hopefully I can get back to stitching very soon. God bless you.
Yes...only stuff that makes me smile :) although I know RA is a horribly painful disease I wonder if Biofreeze which is a gel would give you temporary relief...it is like an ice pack without the ice. I have had to use it with my broken shoulder and even though the bone is deep...it seemed to help me.

I watched a video awhile back and the lady said you should change your needle after any project you do and clean your machine now that really made me laugh. Who does that! Hi Anna, Great video as always! I have a cleaning tip for the bobbin case - I use a pressured air spray to remove any dust particles from my bobbin case. It always does a great job for me and saves poking around all those small areas.

Here is something for you to laugh about, I actually stitched my project to my finger(didn't hurt and was't bleeding) with out even knowing it, the girls in that classroom roared with laughter and said I was pulling a Cheryl(me) I do stuff like that all the time. I’ve only ever made one fabric postcard and I still have it tucked away somewhere. Love your black and yellow not white beaded bee charm scissor keeper. I think you were a bit punch drunk at times filming the video but I love how real you keep it. Rainy day sewing can be challenging sometimes.

I love your design, I am trying to figure out how you did the wreath with the leaves around the heart. Are they wool applique with stitching connecting them? Your postcard is absolutely amazing I love it the best.
You're the best. I think many of us have used the arms length guide for hand sewing and ran into the very same issues. I keep trying now and the using the arms length. Do I really think Today, its going to not tangle or get hooked on something? I. Will never learn. ❤️
I love bleeding heart flowers as well and thank heavens they are not poisonous. My first granddaughter when she was 3 decided she should chew one up while no one was looking. After calling poison control we all rested easier. I have never heard of fabric postcards before but I am definitely going to make one. They look marvelous especially in those frames you showed.
Thanks to G for not editing this down to 15-20 minutes! I loved watching the funny struggles that culminated in the reward of a beautiful project! Those bullion stitches around the bleeding hearts are so pretty. I don't do wool work but I think they are really beautiful. I love bleeding heart flowers as well and thank heavens they are not poisonous. My first granddaughter when she was 3 decided she should chew one up while no one was looking. After calling poison control we all rested easier. I have never heard of fabric postcards before but I am definitely going to make one. They look marvelous especially in those frames you showed.

Thanks to G for not editing this down to 15-20 minutes! I loved watching the funny struggles that culminated in the reward of a beautiful project! Those bullion stitches around the bleeding hearts are so pretty. I don't do wool work but I think they are really beautiful. It's going to be really hard for you not to bid on yourself again, I'll bet!! Hey - maybe G will and surprise you - wink, wink!!

Anna try doing the zigzag edge while stitching it on tear away light stabilizer then just remove it when done. That should help..😊
