    Great tutorial Anna, it's rather like needle tatting. Instead of tying the knot to a filler thread, you tie it to your project..... who knew? It looks awesome. I will use it as a flower filler in place of French knots..... I just finished an embroidery that I could of used it on. Oh well... I guess I'll just have to start another one.

    • @quiltroadies1695

    I can't do much hand work anymore, unless I do the following: Glucosamine Chondroitin pill, Aspercreme, RX NSAID, 2 days of prayer, and another prayer before I pick up the needle...LOLOL> Kidding, but not by much, ty, such a cute stitch, and the birdies lol adorbs! That thing about knotting off the previous drizzle is a very good idea. TFS.

      Hunter W that’s funny 😂hope your feeling better I have a great tip. I wrap my thumbs & index finger with waterproof bandage tape to limit my bending of those fingers since I have trigger fingers it helps with any repetitive finger craft like sewing 🧵 knitting 🧶 crocheting. I had basil Joint Anthroplasty surgery on my left hand for arthritis & two trigger fingers. I don’t want to go back for surgery on my right dominant hand thumb trigger finger. So using the tape or bandaids saves those fingers. I use it around the house also to remind me not to grab. I also put athletes tape on all my door knobs so I don’t get stuck in one of my rooms. I can’t turn door knobs. Have a great day! Let me know if you like my tips. 🥰💕🧶🧵👍👍(my thumbs😂)

    That's so funny about your lamp! LOLOL I once had a TV that turned on and off if one were to open the drapes with the hooks running along the channel, fingers running along the teeth of a comb or a plane going over (we were under the airplane path to the airport). Strange!! Those little chicks look so cute. They look like Alfalfa from Little Rascals with their top knots. Anna, I'm still working on my stitching on wool. Will the wool stretch if I use my blanket stitch on my sewing machine instead of hand stitching? I'm really not very good at the hand stitching. Have a wonderful time in your tree house and virtual hugs from Canada.

    OMG, what a great thing to know about the lamp. I ordered mine a few years ago, and my control didn’t work, so I had to send the control back and get a new one, but I often wondered what I would do if I lost the control. I will have to find an old TV control and see if it will work.

    You are so funny! I had to laugh when you talked about the guy peeing at the statue. Then, when you were explaining the drizzle stitch, you said whoop it around. Great explanation. I actually watched a video of yours (it’s been a while now) of this stitch being demonstrated and I think Sue was doing the demonstration. It’s when I first found your channel. There was a group that she was sitting with in a circle and she showed how to do this.
    I really like how you explained it.

    Your instructional videos are so well explained, easy to understand, not to mention fun. I began EPP because my machine has been in the shop for over 10 days, so I was thrilled to see the quilt of hexagons behind you. Did you make it, is there a pattern? The color selection is lovely. I also did learn the drizzle stitch. Thanks as always.

      @quiltroadies1695  5 років тому

      You know even though a majority of my projects have handwork when my machine goes in the shop I feel anxiety! The quilt behind me doesn't have a pattern it is just a bunch of I think either 6 or 8 inch squares cut into snow ball blocks and put together.

    Your pincushion is coming along nicely. I know you have a Slimline Daylight lamp also does it a remote to turn it on and off or a switch. Is it comparative to the Stella lamp? I’m thinking of buying one and would love your input on them comparing them to Ott lamps if you don’t mind. Enjoy your Portland time, although I think you might be back in Sisters already.

      OMG...you need a Slimline with as much stitching as you do and late into the night! It give a lot more coverage because of it length but is unobtrusive...worth every penny. Although I am not replacing every Stella lamp in my life. Pincushion is done, adorable and am back in Sisters :)
