I would like *everyone* to know that I was there when Adventure for the Atari 2600 was first released. It was the most fascinating video game experience of its day.

There was also another game where things happened while you played an atari game too, but I think the game in it was a platformer or something

I can't think of any horror games older than this one to use this concept. The only thing that comes to mind is Moon Remix RPG, from 1997, but it's not horror.
