Am currently on a 17 win streak on rank with terizla and can honestly say that no other hero is even close to competing with him in lane. Since I really love terizla and he's gonna get nerfed I might as well share how to really dominate the game from start to finish.
Start of game go to exp lane and secure the 2nd bush closest to the edge of the map. Level up skill 2 and wait for the enemy to appear. This second part is really important as it will determine how the whole laning stage will play out. You only want to land your 2nd skill swings on the enemy exp laner and avoid hitting the creep wave. This is done so that ,
1. You have hp advantage over enemy laner.
2. Denying enemy exp laner from taking any exp or gold by being nearby. If they even come slightly close to your creeps just punish with skill 2.
If this process is done perfectly you will get lvl 2 first and enemy laner wont even have exp from the wave whilst maintaining creep equilibrium (creeps meeting in the centre of lane). Once you are level 2 your s1 is the best skill to maintain dominance in lane. If enemy tried to sap exp from your creeps just s1 and swing. If enemy is low and doesn't recall back to base he risks dying to revenge strike and combination of s2 swing.
The most important part of this strategy and I REALLY mean it, is to not clear the enemy creeps with S2 unless one if these 4 things happen.
1. You are confident that the enemy exp laner recall back to base. (So you can push your creeps under the tower thus denying enemy laner from getting exp and getting gold from tower.)
2. Enemy is low enough that he can be killed with s1 and a few swings.
3. You foresee a fight about to break out near turtle or clash around your area.
4. You need to recall back to base to Regen.
But then you might be asking, when do I go and roam and help other lanes. You just don't. If you play the lane perfectly as described the enemy will come to you instead to try and kill you. At this stage you are strong enough to even go for 1v3 if you have a good timing on your bloodlust axe since they probably don't have an anti lifesteal item just yet. If you manage to push up far enough under the third tower then you can consider moving to other lanes to help.
I share this info with you guys cos terizla is really one of my fav heroes and I wanna give a middle finger to moonton cos they nerfed him too quickly after buffing him. Abuse him while you still can as the terizla in advance server is pretty dogshit from what I've seen.
Moonton is so ridiculous lol. They always nerf heroes immediately who get used by pro players and popular in ranks, he isnt even THAT op or unbalanced.
In the drafting phase you should always check the line up of the enemy and your line-up .
I use terizla and possibly badang as a counter to those exp lane champions who wants to scale like aldous and freya , to fully bully them learn how to freeze the wave since they are not roaming exp laner they have no choice and hit minions so punish them every time they will lane against you .

Terizla can be easily hunter by thamuz who use demon hunter sword and vengeance.
Since terizla casting skill is slow, you get shredded before you completed your sequence of skills.
And you cant just smash thamuz easily... He can just heal himself

The nerfs he just got on adv server literally made his 2nd skill jump distance LOWERED that the pre buffed Terizla (the one where his jump was short, the nerf made it even shorter)

I have an idea like instead of nerf his 2nd skill just adjust i mean at level one he has a shorter jump but a max level he gets a bigger jump then you have to prioritize his 2nd and it's not a big impact on him isn't?
And also they nerf his damage i mean jawhead deals more damage at level one and they buff him wtf?

@@imsad_16k15 Thats the whole point of Cecillion. He needs to get to late game or have a high stack in order to even be a threat to the enemies. If he gets fed, either (1), Yoh let him farm and forgot he existed (2) He managed to position well. The point of Cecillion is to be a glass canon with no mobility in exchange for Damage. He is basically the Mage Terizla but unlike Terizla, he doesnt have damage reduction.

I remembered Terizla's first launch way back in 2019 he is the most dominant fighter he can do first blood of almost any of his enemies even from the starting of the game.
I think that's what happens to most new heroes cuz most players are not familiar with them yet
I ended up using Terizla in ranked yesterday, and I was ganked by Baxia when I was trying to finish off a Miya, and despite having a lack of health advantage, I was able to kill both of them with a mixture of his ultimate and second skill. My team then went in to lose that game, but it was still a highlight.

With his insane passive DMG reduction, spell vamp and vengeance he literally can 1v3 or 1v4 enemies like they're nothing lol.
His damage is good, he's really good. The thing about him is his mobility. The flicker trick won't work anymore that made his mobility a lot slower. His jump on second skill are so small and he also have very low base movement speed that affects that jump distance. His first skill hits hard as well as other skills but having slower attack speed, cast animation, low movement speed, and quite high mana consumption is the reason why he's eating dusts on the corner. I used him because he's buffed and the jump distance and speed is a perfect piece for him to have some mobility. Now that its's lowered, it will be hard to hit his hammer again on enemies because of his slower mobility
Sprint is a recommended battle spell for Terizla than flicker as it can be used for both an escape and a help to his 2nd skill mobility
@@bjuganda7758 tbh, its wasted on him even though sprint is buffed. Since terizla doesn't have blink skills, flicker covers that. Flicker also covers his another weakness that is known to tanks, its the ability to set all the enemies and group them up. Since his mobility is very slow, it also means that the enemy will have more time to react and move away or use their blink skills before terizla group them up. By using flicker, you can surprise attack enemies, higher chance of successful crowd control and chase low hp enemies. Sprint is not a bad spell but it just happened that terizla doesn't have blink skills. Sprint is good for heroes who are squishy because i also encountered those heroes always be the first to heal up and back from risky teamfight

i'm using offlane terizla these past RG and having good results, his 2nd skill animation is much more better and his ult
It is.. and the 2nd skill is even effective at escaping. I usually used 2nd skill when escaping since it's faster than regular walking. And you deal damage as well.
Wish that they would base on the movement speed the speed of his second skill.

I feel like Terizla needed a time to shine. Since he never had one. (The only time I could remember him being meta was his first release.) I love using him yet we have cough cough "wanwans/moskovs" ruining our day when using non- mobile fighters like him. All I could nerf him is his cd for his 2nd or maybe a mana cost increase for all skills. That's all, yet they decided to overnerf him in adv server in a bad way, Yet they didn't touch the damn Wanwan nor valentina. Both of these heroes make most heroes unusable at some point. Having counter picks the only one's viable. And they don't have that much counters. Moneytoon being bad at the balance changes these days. Like they overnerfed gord but not wanwan. Nice.
That's actually very annoying I'm mad that everyone is using wanwan now cause they made it easier to hit weaknesses. If you're a true wanwan user you didn't need to wait for them to reduce the weakness points to play her in the opinion that just meant that you weren't confident enough to use her. Personally using her before that buff was more satisfying because once you hit all the weaknesses it was go time. Cecelion also is a different case he's good the longer the game goes on I don't think he's broken just shut him down and make sure to target him first. Julian is fucking broken he does way to much damage and his life steal is freaking insane but honestly I'm drawing blanks on how they can balance him.
Only thing to counter wanwan is extremely fed fanny or ling with 5 levels in difference could stop the menace

He is so much better as a jungler or a tank. Imho, in this current Terizla we have, his potential will be wasted if you use him in sidelane. He is good as a tank because he can be aggressive early game so he can easily zone out the enemy. He is a jungler freak. He farms so fast because his damage is unbelievable.
I tell my team mates to use Terizla when they have a chance. This guy is a freak (as for now) so Elgin is right. Use Terizla NOW.
His potential is clearly on exp lane. He clear lanes fast and rotate in his area faster to secure the turtle.

Based on how I see his nerf
Is he going to loose his ban status ?: For sure yes. That higher cooldown and change in displacement will affect his early game. Even making tank terizla less effective.
Will he become unpopular again ?: Short answer is no. Terizla isn't going anywhere. He still keeps is animation during CC feature, skill 2 slow effect, and faster ultimate. He will probably loose some popularity. But he will be fine nonetheless. That damage he can still do while stunned is very OP. And you can just use sprint while using his skill 2 to chase enemies better. I still hope moonton will nerf thamuz, wanwan, Beatrix, and maybe even their new upcoming hero.

well... you can always use sprint to compensate for distance. Additionally the slow effect wasn't changed so it should help in keeping enemies in range. For cooldown you can probably just use bloodlust axe and queens wings and you are good to go. If you like using tank terizla just go with the support emblem instead. Also wait till the new emblem systems comes. I'm sure there will be something good available to help you use terizla better .

vengeance is the most suitable for him, his passive gonna be useles with sprint.
damage and distance reduction is undertandable but not for the cooldown.
been using terizla even without bis buff and yeah i think he's kinda on steroids right now he moves so fast asf.. anyways in my experience as a terizla user.
I used him to invade enemy junglers buff with execute you'll just have to be careful with cc's and focus your second skill on enemy team's jungler the next thing you'll notice is a crying enemy jungler without his buff or delayed jungler. I sometimes pair him with demon shoes so you'll have enough mana to annoy your enemies.

He could actually become a tank of his 1st skill, (the aftermath of hitting an enemy) scales with hp, and for 2nd skill, the slow effects are alright, but if they added an airborne stun at the last hit he would be most likely a great tank, 3rd skill explanatory why its great as a tank skill

Terizla is so painful in early game I actually have hard time fighting against him using Yu Zhong but I'll soon find a way of how to destroy him

terizla is one of those heroes you dont want to mess in the early game
Elgin you didn't mention that nana's 2nd/morph actually cancels his skill effect. Meaning suppress is not the only cc able to counter his 2nd.
As long as the skill has been casted it will damage the enemy even if your already transformed.. i mean its still a cc and not suppress.
Cant stop his damage if its casted half-way, if you notice even after death his s2 can still deal damage
@@quango2707 Kinda miss the days when his Ult did the same. Gets CC'ed still slams the ground. Dies, still slams the ground. The damage was never coming from the hammer, it was sheer force of will.
I've been using him pre revamp and I'm amazed people never use him back then, he could shut down any squishy heros with no mobility in the backlines. Now that he got buffed ALOT he is easily winning most of his matchups in the laning phase and can easily shut down even squishy heros with mobility
Use 2nd skill once then 1st skill then spam rest of the 2nd skill to get maximum damage from skills

I think barats (offlane) and buffed terizla are pretty match to match in the the Exp lane cause they are both good at sustaining. barats is a tank/fighter type so whenever i play RG and there's a terizla in the enemy team I always pick barats.
And sometimes terizla is having a hard time killing barats.

Played him yesterday as a roamer. All I took is the blood lust axe & all defensive items. Got MVP in the end. He is good now. As I played with him even before the buff, having a little bit of not used to problem.

As a Terizla main, I'll happily say that this buff made him ALOT more better. I mean before he wasn't rlly that bad, he had the insane dmg, can tank tons of dmg if build as a semi or full tank, and if used properly, his ult can make good setups. The one thing I wanted Terizla to have was a range increase on his ult, but this buff is just insane! It sucks that he's gonna get nerfed too early.

I use either DPS or burst build for Terizla, dude's got a really good spellvamp.
Terizla is great. I build him as a secondary tank when our team has a tank. He can sustain very well and deals a lot of damage. He can initiate too. A lot of players underestimate his damage. I usually pair him with vengeance. Although he can be very slow but that's the challenge of it. You just have to find the right timing.
I had a game where I was ambushed by a Max Level fully built Aulus with inspire, didn't even feel like I took damage. Took him out in a second.
I would suggest buying rapid speed boots if you are building bloodlust axe and tank items. He's just so tanky even in early game and it gives more motility.

If you build terizla as pure damage, he can deal 10k+ just by his 2nd skills alone in one combo with the last smash dealing 5k+ (granted you full stack de war axe thing)
Yes his DMG output is insane with full DMG build, I think because it's not how he was intentioned to be used/built. His whole niche was slow but hits hard and tanky af. If you build him with only DMG, he's going to hit insanely hard since he already did before but he's just slow, however you somewhat lose the tanky aspect of being able to sustain DMG in team fights. His passive won't sustain a team or 3 people, he will die much easier. His best build to me is the one intended, which is usually just 2-3 atk items, and the rest defense. Full defense he lacks DMG, but still hits hard early to mid, full offense he lacks sustain, but still not easy to kill until it gets to later game, but this is all useless if the enemy team has a decent amount of cc.
i just tried and surprisingly even after i was killed by enemy but ive cast skill 2, its still hitting enemy 😂quite funny seeing the hammer hitting without terizla holding it

I always build bloodlust and WAR AXE on Terizla. These give him both damage and sustain, which is more efficient than building too much defense. He becomes tanky enough and his damage gets boosted as well! ;)

i think flicker + ult terizla with full tank build is the goat rn. i literally started using him (after2 cls matches) on legend 5 and reached mythic with 80%+ wr in solo q
Khaleed is just like terizla but has high mobility. He needs more damage and damage reduction in his first as well as immune to cc in his first just like terizla
