Some tips when using Faramis, it's better to use his ultimate during his ghost state because you won't stop to do the animation for his ultimate. This tip I found out during my game with faramis.

Most viewers might not agree with me but trust me old faramis was way better then the current one, his burst could easily kill enemies during the team fights along with that unlimited life ultimate.
Although the new ultimate is good, but his damage is just completely gone.
He is now a good support thou. Damage is greatly nerf, mobility and double is his perks now
His old ult is only good allowing dead teammates to be alive and immortal as long as the teammates are in the circle for a limited amount of time
Well because his primary role is support and with his revamp, he became better as a support
Truuee I can even get maniacs 4 times when he was not yet revamped and now faramis can be easily killed

One thing I don't like about the revamp is that Faramis' 2nd skill damage doesn't deal enough damage compared to the old one even with a pure mage build. I've been using him as my main hero since his release in the official server.
Yea I noticed too. It's a huge nerf u can't even clear minions fast. Before revamp 2nd skill dealt a TON of dmg

Yea, I agree completely. I have been a faramis main ever since and his 2nd skill was truly compulsory. Now, he doesn’t even deal damage. This revamp made him support and only a support role, not a mage.

hes s1 is too slow and very long cd. You cant hit and run like the old faramis.
Mage faramis is good when a lot of enemies are squishy, for me the best build for him is hybrid (only enchanted talisman and fleeting time as a damage item + cd reduction) and the rest is defense item depending on the enemies
I see thank you so much just bought Faramis I enjoying him even though I have bad wr well it's just hard to gain stack
This is my set-up as well. Just be careful at first when building ET and FT cos he is still squishy. First skill is your best friend due to its bonus def/mdef that is why I always level it first. I also use it to collect the stacks on the floor.
I then run aggressively to enemies with the first skill once I have defense items.
Ult Max health scales on magic my guy if you have low magic the ult gives lower health
@@keiji_Shimizu yeah gladly they buff the ultimate of Faramis. I don't usually use magic items on him since the passive will give you magic power
@@tanll59 use 1st skill to get stack from afar. I usually harass by charging with 1st skill then 2nd skill, you just get the stack when your 1st skill is in range, other combo when in range 2nd 1st 2nd.
Tbh mage or full tank (with enchanted talisman and cdr boots). His ult is justified one of the best ults in the game. Can save team from tank sets. Can even give a second phase to your tank if the tank fails to set (for mid faramis). Overall he's amazing despite the adv server continuous nerfs. Unlike a certain undead queen...
vexana is more OP than faramis, she needs to be nerfed

When collecting faramis stacks u should use your 1st skill then 2nd in the enemy hero so the stacks will come to you automatically

I think the old faramis was much better I am a support main and there’s so many things wrong like the delay when you use the ultimate if you’re not using first skill all his animations feel slow and flashy rather than the old one being quick and the fact that fleeting time doesn’t work if the ultimate is still active it only works if ult is already over not to mention the delay when you die and the hp is so much lower then the old one it just seems like a flashy nerf to me and an ult that moves with you
Just a tip, you can extend faramis' first skill after hitting an enemy far and long enough to match a displacement as long as franco's hook (more or less). Don't click the second phase of his first immediately!

I still don’t like how badly they secretly nerfed Faramis between adv server and official, where they didn’t even tell us about the nerfs. I made a comment about this on a previous video and while he’s decent he didn’t deserve any nerf that he got because he was fine as is.
I find myself maxing his skill 1 over skill 2 now because I want to escape the 20-15 sec Cooldown they placed it on when it was meant to just be 15 secs at all levels, it doesn’t help that they also nerfed the base damage and scaling of his skill 2 because choosing to max skill 1 means his damage is even more lacking than ever. yes elgin. ive been using faramis since he arrives in the land of dawn. and ill always use mage build(MID LANE) or Hybrid Mage-Tank build(EXP Lane). faramis will really hurt you with mage build. i assure you that. hehe

You should make videos on old Faramis. Old Faramis is way better. As an old Faramis user, his revamp for me is more like an inferior Mathilda copy cat.
Old Faramis is literally a god of war. You can build anything on him as long as it's not physical attack item, he can be your sidelaner, AOE burst mage, support or tank.
People complain about his old ulti being useless and now, his ult might seem useful to those people... but what's the point of being "useful" only on early game when you can only use it once in 2 minutes even with full CD reduction? These people never bothered to learn old Faramis properly, then straight up complain. Moonton being dumb just complied to those complaints for the sake of increasing pick rate... which would only last for some time, then would become least picked again. We only needed a new skin, not some crappy revamp.
Old Faramis had all and more than the revamped Faramis perks except the ult and pulling enemies on command. Though, I don't think his revamped ult is good as the CD is too long even with Fleeting Time and max CD. There's no need for him to use his old ult in the first place unless your team is at disadvantage. Plus, even with death, you can still move for 10 seconds - which is enough to kill the enemies and you can use it twice with CD build and Fleeting Time. His old skill 1 CD can be reduced a lot, so it's not that much of issue compared to having long CD.

For me I Use Clock Of Destiny For My Magic Base damage And Holy Crystal To Percentile The Base Magic Damage Which Makes His Ult's Hp more durable

i haven't seen faramis since revamp, they made him more useless rhan before, no one is using him cause he became worst than before, useless skills souls gathering is a POS and his Ult animation takes forever, i think he really wa Betten before. i bet u to show his using rate for this moth.
I've always played faramis as a mage and was very surprised when my teammate layla chat "faramage".. i was like huh? Isn't that how you were supposed to play him? 😅
I actually used faramage before and it was fun but now I actually found it boring since now I can't annoy people with the unli revive on faramis and the thing the shortens cooldown when getting assists and kills does not work anymore
revamp faramis is trash. honestly they inly need to revamp skill 1 but the other skills are good. On a perfect set up and good timing of the old ult you can turn a failed team clash around and end up with a both side wipe out with faramis reviving immediately

i literally tried dire hit faramis, in the early game, i was really dying many times, but as soon as i got my items, just 2 combos, squishy enemies just got squished

For seriousness though, I never saw tank or full support Faramis as helpful especially on release (Considering noone ever stays near you or start attacking when you ult) so I end up relying too much on myself so I try to boost my damage to it’s limit. This is why I now miss the 2 second 2nd skill of old Faramis on full Cd reduc. However, it is fun to see others start playing Faramis since only a select few (Mage/Support users like me) were devout Faramis users before revamp.
How much moonton payed you to promote faramis? He sucks and he is bottom of the win rare

Similar build to mine but i have talisman+ fleeting combo
I just can't live without 45% cdr Faramis, late game he just spams s1 during team fights and creates so much havoc, plus having your ultimate always ready basically means "Hey let's just start TF everytime and snowball the enemy"
As a fellow Faramis enjoyer here are some tips aswell
- i recommend CDR items over anything for his builds, just pick anything with CDR depending on what you need, usually i go talisman first item and then either defense CDR if tank roamer (dominance, thunderbelt, oracle) or damage cdr (fleeting, lightning)
- His damage is Indeed low, Faramis s2 deals absurdly low dmg vs 1 target, BUT since it bounces, it does high dmg vs 2-3 enemies, basically never think of Faramis as a good 1v1 ganker, he shines on teamfights only, and this is why i don't recomend burst build over CDR
- Abuse his s1 to go over terrain and lose your enemies
- Always Focus on stacking your passive specially early game
- His ultimate is now different to his previous ultimate, before you WANTED to ULT BEFORE DYING, now you wanna bait your enemies and ULT right when they attack, specially to nullify all their burst dmg in 1 second, timing is crucial here
- don't waste your ult on low health allies that are reatreating and are in a bad position, remember they won't revive, nor get heal back
- combo your ult with your s1, for the extra movement speed and no delay animation
-I recommend maxing out s1 first as a tanky roam, since it gives you A LOT of protections
-s1 reduces cooldown when you PULL enemies with it, so sometimes it's better to just pull fast so they don't have time to react, but you'll get your s1 sooner again. Instead of trying to get a perfect pull and risking they getting away
