Thank you for all your videos that you do. I have bought a number of games after watching your solo playthroughs. You explain the rules so well. Keep up the good work.
Damn. You've convinced me into another solo purchase. ;) Never would have expected to go for this - don't care about horse racing, not usually impressed by roll-n-writes. But your tutorial made it look like it had a nice energy, and trying it out on Tabletop Simulator - yeah, this is good stuff! :) This isn't a criticism, but it feels like one to play when you're tired or under the weather and want something that is fun without being complicated.
Yeah, I can't think of another solo horse racing/betting game or any racing game really outside of Steampunk Rally. So it is very unique. Simple but fun. Thanks SH!
@@TotallyTabled Yes, but I'm wondering, because for such a little game, there are many questions, especially for the solo game. But here one general. Is it allowed to change an eight into an one with the horse ability of "Scatter Shot"? And another for Roland Wright: When rolling 5-3, do you still mark the horse's box on the rolled horse card with the highest bet, even when this horse has already reached the finish line. Or do you take the best option for Roland still in the race or the *-action? Thanks!
I didnt know that game before today and it's a love at first sight 😍. Instant purchase and it is on the way to my table. Thanks for the review! It defintely made me buy the game! Cheers! 💪
I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH! I have not played alone but will over the next few days. I wish you knew for sure if Roland can make bets after the line considering he cant do much anyway. Easy way to win for sure.
Obviously not a big deal but I think you missed the extra $6 that buying Horse number 7 should’ve netted you! Went out of your way to buy it and didn’t even count it! 😂 great video as always, love the solo plays
I might be wrong. I just don't hear people talking about it but it is quite high on BGG, so maybe it is more popular than I realize. That is great to hear!
29:50-29:57, Roland surely can’t bet on the 4th horse right? Since it already passes the no-bet line. So instead on betting on it, he should take the default action. CMIIW 😙
I'll say I've never won like that before. But I haven't played enough to say if it feels too easy. Definitely maybe. Luck plays a part, obviously. And I could see a few easy ways to increase the difficulty. Thanks for watching Edward!
This was with the starter horses. Does it play harder with Roland with the other cards? I think allowing Roland to be able to bet after the no bet line would be a good idea. His upper hand is cash so should be able to use it. Maybe also considering using special abilities that can be applied.
Played solo a few times now and find it way too easy, trying to figure out a way to make it harder, the score I get is always over double that of Roland, I might give him a horse for free at the start and some extra money maybe, anyone know of any variants or have ideas?

If I had known this game supported solo play, I would've bought it. As always, thanks for the super satisfying video.

You forgot to add the $2 from horse No. 7.
End game bonus.
I own the game since yesterday. Watched your solo playthrough and really liked it a lot! Thank you very much
Thanks so much Sabastian! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I hope it helps. Have fun!

Looks like a game I will need to own lol

@@TotallyTabled I didn't know this game was underrated 😱 In my country it sells like hot cake.

I appreciate that. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy the game and the video.
Loved this!!
Thanks Linda!
Heard that Roland Wright was too easy to beat and it shows here. You completely destroyed it.

Reminds me of Cubitos for some reason
Never played that one but looked fun. This one is definitely simpler. Thanks for watching Rockfyre!
