True! I already knew how I felt about this title, but you guys have a good mix of useful insight and fun banter in your vids. Feel like the entertaining critics are usually not very objective, and the more objective ones a dry utility I rely on rather than enjoy, but this channel strikes a great mix
I have played this with 4 different groups (so about 12 people), some dedicated game groups and some family groups with non-gamers and every single person I have played it with has loved it. This truly is one of the roll-and-write greats
Great video, this looks like a game my family might love. Our go to game with 6-8 players is left, right, center so im thinking this could be right there. Fun!
@@BoardGameHangover I ended up tweeting the creator of the game, and he said Barnes and noble (a USA book store) has them. So i was able to grab one. Excited to play
Longshot is SO good. Like I’m normally a “the heavier the better” guy, but I’ve felt myself eager to play this lightweight at least once every week since someone brought it to our game night. Like I’m prolly getting on it’s owner’s nerves, cause I keep telling him to bring it again, every pregame text-chain.
Thus far I’ve only played solo. Enjoying it quite a bit so far. I’ve found however that it’s rather easy to completely block out your concessions board. Does this happen a lot in multiplayer? Is it designed to work that way? At least in single player I’ve been only marking off 1 or 2 to start my last couple games.
Thanks for this video. I'm very much not a fan of roll & write, but this does seem to have good interaction (which may help me avoid the nagging feeling like I'm playing Bingo). The luck doesn't worry me. As long as people can have a reasonable feel for the odds, and the chance to adapt to the odds, then there really shouldn't be an issue. It's a skill to play the odds.
you guys are my favourite reviewers now! love the format! keep it up :)
Thanks so much!
You know I like a content creator in board games when I watch you to hear thoughts on a game I have had for a month. Keep it up!

One of its strongest qualities is its flexibility. You can really play it with almost everyone
Had a chance to pick this up a few weeks ago. Loving it so far!!

ahhhh....this game is out of stock everywhere (USA). Even went to my local board game shop....no dice (dad joke)
Good one ;) I think with all the good reviews it is bound to have a reprint at some point.

I concur. A must have!

Everyone always asks for one more round - it's just so fun!

This has been a big hit with everyone I've played with.

You are welcome, thanks for watching. Yes, this does not feel like bingo, mostly because of the centerpiece that is the race track with horses.
have u try ready set bet? what u guys think about that..
Not yet, but it does sound really cool.
Great review. Its been a hit.
I am planning to release my game in alpha version. Could you guys please review it?

I think Camel Up is also a good alternative

This is different but still exciting till the end.
Totally thought that Camel Up would appear as an alternative
To be honest, not sure either of us has played it.
