When dogs roll over on their backs like that, that's a sign of trust, You did a great job. ❤️
Koji and Rio look very happy together.
❤
Koji???
@@scottfrost8956 isn't that the big dogs name?
She loves him❤
I have worked in Rescue so I have experience with foster families, adoptive families and the best outcome of a Forever Home. .So clearly you are the special person we always seek out . Your combination of intent, sensitivity,, planning and love to give most often works out as a permanent home.Best of happiness with you new family member. PS.. The end of the video where the dogs were happily playing together made me cry.
Awww what a great story. I think rescue dogs KNOW they’ve been rescued and they are fiercely loyal and loving to the people who save them.
I am still crying. Congrats to you and Rio, for opening your hearts and home to a new pup...✌🏼❤️🌱🐾
❤
Me too ugh😢
Rio new exactly what you said! Omg I'm a mess😢
Ya think lol I'm cracking up... So comfy!
That’s not a pup, that’s a horse 😂
My heart sings for this sweet boy and his new family.
Thank you for saving this sweet loyal angel.
Watching him on his back with his feet in the air is EVERYTHING!
He already feels loved and home.
I could honestly watch a whole video of Koji and Rio playing! He’s so happy with you both. Thank you for adopting him🤍🤍
The same thing crossed my mind watching them.
Same!

We need more people like you in this world to make it a little bit warmer. Thank you so much for caring.
this story made my day! it has been an extremely tough day and Koji getting a home made it worth it. Congratulations to all of you!
I’m so happy for Rio to have a loving friend. You ‘re a kind lady.
He looked so sad in the beginning of the video, and at the end of the video his eyes had totally shifted. A light had been lit in his eyes, you could see peace and happiness in his eyes. This, just like the video about Rio's story, made me bawl my eyes out. It makes me so happy to see animals get such a loving forever home. Well done, Lyss. ❤
Yep, when he was on his back, feet up in the air, I knew he was happy! ❤❤❤ the eyes are the window to the soul🐾🐾🙏
Ahh I love it! ❤❤them playing, oh my heart😍
I have to imagine the drive was a little triggering for him as that’s how he was dumped. My girl was abandoned in a hotel room and I didn’t know that about her until 6mos of having her and took her on a trip during that time and she was sooo sad and nervous in the hotel room.
He looks so happy now! Congratulations!
He looks very cosy and peaceful you did an amazing thing giving him the love and affection he so desperately deserves great job
How wonderful that Koji has finally found a family that really loves him, I hope he's doing well now.
It was so awesome of you to get another rescue pooch. He is great… very sweet. I have a rescue dog that was found in a ditch with her brothers and sisters next to her deceased mom. I got her when she was 3 months old (now 8 yrs. old) and she has been the best and sweetest dog that I have ever had. Half Boxer and half Vizsla. Great video!
Crying 😭😭😭 This is fantastic!! As a fellow Mommy of a Great Pyrenees mix, I applaud you!! Their breed has a high rate of abandonment, due to not understanding their breed traits. I’m so excited for you and Rio! Koji is absolutely HANDSOME ♥️♥️♥️ I just smiled and smiled seeing all of the things that Koji does that my GP does. 😁😁😁
Found my buddy Hank 7 years ago on PetFinder too! This video made a grown man get teary eyed. You’re an amazing hooman with such a big heart…
I just wanted to let you know that because of your video I made a food donation to the Austin Animal Center & let them know it was because of the video.
What a great story!
This warms my heart. Thank you for supporting animals like Koji ♥️🐾
A Big Grocery store Ham shank is how a group of teen’s TP’d the house and got past the guard dog 🐕😂🤣
@@REGRETLYSS1 Anyone that is aristocratic in their views is afraid of telepathy.
In order to focus on telepathy, human beings MUST focus on love. Love is honesty and respect ONLY. Violent men always try to paint love as either gay or feminine in more mature, psychologically developed males. They are attempting to control ideas and beliefs (vibe) with lying and manipulation (anger).
In order to focus on love, human beings MUST be emotionally secure within. Anyone that is forceful and aggressive is NOT secure in the mind or persona. They are mentally unstable. They are afraid of being figured by others within, so they attack, judge, and provoke. A violent temperament and machismo are ALWAYS synonymous.
To focus on love, which is honesty and respect ONLY, requires humility and vulnerability. Violent, aristocratic, aggressive human beings do not participate in real, authentic emotions. The personas they present socially are phony and artificial. They reside in shallow emotions ONLY, which are insulting and threatening to other people.
Religion is used to promote status and popularity in the selfish individual ONLY. Popularity is centered around social cruelty and depression, not humility and empathy. Religion is an authoritarian, aristocratic, image-conscious social clique centered around corny and wooden acting skills, not REAL beliefs in God or the hereafter.
Human beings only care that life after death is real. They could care less about religion at all. It’s time to get real, and leave lying (authority) behind. Human beings chose either to evolve (telepathy), or stay fearful and conformist (alpha / authoritarian).
Jealous (violent) human beings will always attack friendly (non-violent) human beings to build a social life. All religious human beings share this idea and MUST support it. If they do not support authority and conformity, they are not accepted by anyone that is religious.
ALL human violence and aristocratic thinking is against women socially. Machismo has nothing to do with Islam, Russia, China, communism, self defense, or any other manufactured threat. Males want control over women in their own communities. Machismo is not protective. It is selfish manipulation towards women.
There are no leaders, but only lowlifes pretending to be. Strong human beings are friendly, mature, wise, and on equal footing socially at all times. This prevents human violence in all ways, as well as manipulation of the truth.
Focus on meditation. Watch and listen to the mind within like a TV and a radio. Absolute mental silence for indefinite periods of time is never the point of meditation.
The other side (spirit world) is unconditional love and understanding, not demonic or evil. Hearing messages within from Source is not schizophrenia. It is telepathy.
The ideas being shared by men are extremely cruel towards women socially, and this is exactly why religion still exists. Religion is for those shunning personality growth and character development.
Dogmatic beliefs, such as Christ consciousness, chakras, and Hindu symbols, are always surrounded by authoritarianism and machismo. Those are images of spirituality without substance.
Anything authentic and sincere regarding spirituality will center around simple ideas such as Source, attraction, non-violence, equal footing socially, and telepathy.
The ONLY way to focus on telepathy is to be non-violent completely, self loving (humble), anti-conformist, and anti-authoritarian.
Love is strong mentally. Fear is mentally weak. Love IS telepathy. Telepathy, love, and giving are synonymous.
Lying turns the human mind crazy. End mental illness (selfish thinking) for good. End religion.

Look at how he lays on his back… that shows trust! Dogs wont expose their belly like that if they are not feeling Safe & Comfortable! Such a Great addition to your Family! He will definitely Keep you Safe. He definitely has Pyrenees in him. I have had 3 Pyrenees in my life and they are the Greatest Dogs ever. One of mine Saved my life Two separate times. First he Protected me without hesitation when a Guy with a Knife came out of an ally and came at me. He Went straight at the guy, his Hackles up and Teeth on Full display. His Front paws on the guys shoulders he was looking him straight in the eyes. He went from Sweet, Calm Mellow dog to Cujo in the blink of an eye. The guy with the knife turned, Dropped the knife and ran like hell.. My Pyr chased after him for about 30’, Barking, Growling and Looking Fierce as any attack dog dog I’ve every seen! As soon as he felt I was safe & the Threat was gone he turned right back into our Sweet, Tail Wagging Ball of Fluff. He came straight back to me.. Since I dropped the leash as soon as I saw his Hackles go up! I was scared at that moment. The second time he saved my life I was skating on the Bay by where I lived. As I was skating back toward the docks where we would put our skates on, the ice gave way and I fell in and under the ice. I was finally able to get to the edge of the ice and try to get out. I kept slipping back into the water. My Pyr walkways laid by my boots.. usually on them (keeping the warm for me I guess). I began to call him toward me with a Chunk of Ice in my hand.. we played a lot of Fetch prior to this incident. As he got close to me I was able to get ahold of his leash.. them would show the chunk of ice to him and tell him to “Get it, Get it” and I threw it. He took off after the chunk of ice , pulling me out from the freezing water. I rolled away from the hole and he came to me realizing I wasn’t in a good state. I went to get up but he didn’t let me.. he laid on top of me, not letting me up. The fact he weighed more than I did made that job easy for him.. when I finally stopped shivering he decided it was time to go. He got off me, nudged me with his nose and looked at me with a look of “Let’s go”. I was so lucky on those two occasions to have such an amazing Dog! His name was “Ever-So-Ready” that’s the name the breeders we got him gave him. We called him “Ready”. The perfect name for him we learnt as he showed he was Ready for anything that happened. Another time a Dog from down the street who was not treated well by its owner got loose.. as I was just stepping off the sidewalk to step onto our stairs to the porch that dog attacked me.. he was big. I won’t say the breed because it wasn’t the dogs fault it was mistreated and on a heavy chain 24/7.. it’s owner mistreated that dog.. but it did attack me. My Mom opened the front door so I could hopefully get away from the dog and into the house. As she opened the door Ready charged out of the house and attacked the Dog that was attacking me. He Body slammed into the Dog, And Started to hit it with his Paws.. almost like he was Boxing it.. he didn’t bite the other dog.. he used his size to get it off of me. I was able to get up and run into the house as Ready continued to fight the other dog. The dog finally ran away and Ready put a short chase toward him.. But stopped about 30’ from our house, barking and growling at the dog. As soon as he felt it was safe.. Again he turned around and came back to meat the front door. We checked him and he didn’t have a single mark on him. I loved that dog so much. He was a big teddy bear until something happened that he needed to go into protect mode.. that is the Three times he saved me.. So just saying Pyrenees are amazing dogs. Having the Traits of a Pyr is awesome and I’m sure your boy is going to be amazing for you! He is already comfortable from the look of it!! Congratulations
Oh my God what an awesome dog he is. How anyone could abandon such a wonderful animal is mind blowing but fate took him to a better place and a better family. Congrats!!
Thank you for taking Koji in and letting him know he’s loved and safe once again. 😊
Just getting caught up from missing the Sunday lineup last week for a work trip (ironically to Idaho via Denver). Such a sweet video. For a livestock guardian dog to integrate into your home and accept your friends so readily means you are truly a special lady, indeed (but we already knew that!) I hope you have many happy years together!!
Awe 💞 what a lucky boy Koji is. Thank you for adopting him and giving him the life he deserves. Rio looks like she approves too 👍
That is one happy good huge boy. He is acting like a kid with your dog. He knows you love him. Heck, he knows we all love him. Thank you for being you.
Edit. I didn't cry till I read the comments.
Aaaaww its just so heart warming to watch how he is happy and how he clearly has found his family ❤ truly beautiful! You are such an inspiration and a beautiful soul!
This warms my heart. He is definitely right at home 🏡. Love it
My sister had an Anatolian and she was absolutely the sweetest dog. So gentle and so sweet! He’s an amazing addition to your family ❤
❤Koji is so adorable, and he appears to be a perfect match for you and Rio. Just when I thought your little family couldn't get any cuter, another fur baby comes along and steals my heart. I'm so happy for all 3 of you. I see so much love growing in this video, and I'm already looking forward to the next one🥰❤🥰
I cried happy tears through this entire video! His name is perfect! ❤️🐾❤️
Definitely my favorite episode so far❣️ You are a very special person and deserve ALL the happiness! 🙏
That’s soooo wonderful that you took him in and gave him another home. My heart goes out to you and others who save the life of animals. There’s a place in heaven for people like you. ❤❤❤
They are gonna be such good buddies! They made me cry when I saw them playing, yayy for Rio! 💜 and you of course!
Seeing Koji laying in this position is golden! He love, life and his new home! Else he wouldn’t be doing it! Thank you so much
He definitely fits in , like he has always been with you. Glad you now have a protector. He will always know love.
Thank you for doing adopting Koji. All three of you are so lucky. I am fortunate to share my life with four fabulous rescued huskies.😎
Amazing how at ease the puppy is after only a few days. Can’t quite wrap my head around why anyone would dump such a calm well behaved dog.
Right, It had to be a really bad situation, Or Theft
Like stolen car dumped dog in the next state
Wow. What a beautiful addition to the family. What a fantastic move to add this big guy to the pack. You give so much love Lyss. Much love from Canada.
I needed that video, what an amazing story for all three of you... You have a BIG heart and given that big boy a great second chance. Thanks for doing such a great job at sharing a wonderful outcome!
Congratulations 🎉 on the new family member! Heartwarming story. I can't believe anyone would abandon him.
Awww so precious how they bonded so fast with Rio and play so happily together at the end. Melted my heart, what a loving home he found himself. Thank you for saving him and giving him a second chance. We all need it! Much Love ❤
Your true soul shines through with this video, you haven't seen this dog, and yet you take him in as one of the pack. ❤
Oh my gosh ~ what a spectacular animal / dog! Mind boggling to try and understand who and why someone would leave this gentle giant alongside a road?!? 😢 However, Koji has a new life and another chance with you & Rio! Congratulations 🎉 on your new boy 💙 !!!
Your home is perfect for mid sized and big dogs!! Your family is growing! 🙂
When you said that koji waited for the people who abandoned him for two day's, I cried like a baby. What an absolute cute big-boy he really is, and to see him and rio playing just warms my heart completely! You're doing an amazing thing Lyss you really are and I love you for being the doggy human that you obviously are. My boy is sitting just looking at why his doggy-dad is a tears and snotty nosed wreck at the moment but only dogs and children get me like this.
Tear filled eyes watching this🥹 What a beautiful story! Thanks to all involved and more importantly to Lyss and Rio for giving him a
second chance and the best home a dog could wish for🥰🐾🙏❣️
Love love love it!! Rio looked so pleased to have a new "brother" to play with. It was heart warming to see Koji get more relaxed and at the end him romping with Rio. Beautiful story and congratulations to you all. ❤️🐾🐶
We live in Indiana and drove to Texas to rescue our little one. We found her through Vet Ranch but we did find one of our other puppers through PetFinder. You look like a great new family. Congratulations!
Awwww Rio is so happy to have Koji as her new fur friend
Awww welcome home Koji! I love how fluffy he is and how he lies on his back with his paws in the air. What a sweet doggy soul ❤
This video played on my heart strings! I've got big smiles as I sit here snuggling my rescue Aussie Belle and my Golden Harley! Great job on giving Koji a loving new home, Rio looks like she's got a new lifelong friend!
What a wonderful amazing woman you are for opening your heart and home to Koji. He now has a person and home and family to love and protect. He is loved. I am a animal lover myself as well.
question maybe for another video: Where do you feel like you found the courage and peace of mind to go on this journey by yourself, alone 🙏? Where do you draw your confidence and strength from in that..?
Inspired by your perpetual positivity and perspective on life… great story teller/film maker. 👏
*Adorable new pup! ❤
I love this question, thank you! Maybe I’ll make a whole video about this topic. Thank you for watching, and for your words of encouragement. It’s comments like these that keep me going on UA-cam. Thank you friend. I hope to answer your question in video soon :)
Oh this video made my day - thank you!! It's so wonderful to see kindness when there is so much going on in the world. Well done Rio on being such a great and welcoming buddy for Koji.
Now that's a teaser! 😊
Hope that "HIM" brings you a lot of happiness and ❤.
Oh how sweet....what a story. I love it. God bless Bart for bringing him to you. God bless you and all here. Hugs❤🎉
Another fur baby!!! No doubt.🥰💜
🙀 I didn't think of that 🤣 I need to try that "clickbait" if it is !!
Its called a dog
What a beautiful dog!! You have such a wonderful heart. Best wishes!! ❤️
Could it be another fur baby? Can't wait to find out.
I think it’s a man with a dick
@Spiritual Rituals happy day🎉
GORGEOUS 😍 BEAUTIFUL PUPPIES BIG DOG YESSS 🐕 ❤️
The fur babies are gorgeous. I’m so glad you have him too. ❤
OH DEAR!!! This is starting to seem like Clickbait .... only a few weeks and GAVE UP KOJI ALREADY!!! ... in your video of explaining your decisions to give him up you made it WAY too much about YOU when Koji and Rio are the REAL little Angels that pay the price ... they're the kids ... you're the adult ... they're in your safekeeping Spiritually, Phisically and Emotionally.
I mean just say what happened and don't fluff it up by making all about YOUR feelings and morals and self growth. Your repertoire is just a moral high ground do-gooder speech
about you ... the times when you got him and when you re-homed him.
Reality is ... you thought you could do it but you couldn't. PERIOD.
All the blah blah about commitment and building family when you found him ... if you get up too high about how great you are ... when you crash it's just harder and more embarrassing ...YOU GAVE HIM UP NOW HE'S IN A NEW HOME ...
AGAIN ... difficult yes .. but good for him ...and it's
hard on sweet Rio, too
Breaks our hearts but stuff happens.
I get it ... things change and certainly OK to rehome it's just all that lip service and justification statements you performed... all the pretention and bravado about it ... that's what tugs at people
Did you CLECK IN with yourself before attachments grew? So you did not have ANY idea that you would be traveling too much to have a dog like Koji?? No clue?? Sure this is a blessing for Koji in the longrun....you just made such a big deal about speaking to your changes and hard decisions in your recent video to explain WHY you gave Koji up ... why not just get real and just say you bit off more than you can chew... in the video where you brought Koji home you made such a big deal about BUILDING family etc etc...
You're a lovely young woman ... Don't let keeping you on brand become narcissistic and get to your head.
Very happy for your new home ... just wish Koji fit in with your lack of planning.
Koji and Rio are two beautiful dogs 🐕 ❤️. You have a great 👍 heart ❤️ adopting a dog into your home.
This didn't age well.
I’m trying to figure out what happened to him? Any news??
What happened to him..?
She rehomed him to a local couple (dog groomers) who don’t travel and leave home as often. She explains in a video called “Letting go”, I believe
He (Koji) is such a chill dog and he's not small either. It's interesting how the Corso is close in bite force, and it's good that he's already adapted to you and the house and Rio.
Awe, this is such a great story! Congratulations Koji on your new happy home!
Great name 🤗
Your property is perfect for him!
What a gorgeous boy Koji is❤️🙏🏼 perfect match for your homestead and for your protection.
You're such a great person and an awesome doggy mama. I've enjoyed watching your adventures the last couple of years. 👍🏻
What a great story of love and kindness. There really isn’t enough of that in this world. Well done and have happy times together .❤
Awww so lovely to see this old doggy so happy and loved and the fact he lays on his back exposing his vulnerable underside is a mark of deep trust from any dog especially from a rescue dog that had been abandoned
Great Pyres are literally the best most loyal dogs ever! And Pyres also were bred to protect livestock up in the Pyrenees mountains hence the name..they can be extremely fierce when needed but are really gentle giants. They are very good with other animals too and small children!
Congratulations 🎉 what a sweetie. Oh that bark, sounded exactly like my Ellie Mae. She was a great Pyrenees too and was legit the best dog I ever had. She lived a good long life of 11.5yrs. 😊 Koji's bark made me think of her, she always used to sprawl out on the floor on her back like that too. Thats how she slept most days.
I adopted an Anatolian shepherd when my kids were young. He was 185 pounds. We had him for about 11 years. He was a beautiful soul and we loved him but ideally, he would have had a big rural yard/farm to roam and protect. They are amazing and loyal guard dogs, and if I were a solo home or van dweller, I would definitely want an Anatolian Shepherd by my side.
what a heartwarming video! my heart went when he begun playing
I can’t believe there’s people out there that can do that to an animal! Heartless! I’m so glad Coji found his way to you so he can get the love he deserves!! ❤
Oh and I’m a new subscriber 😊
God Bless You for giving this beautiful boy a new home!!! ❤
This was a beautiful video. Both dogs look like they're in heaven now. Wonderful job!
Omg I love his goofy grin when he's rolled over on his back. Congratulations on the new addition to your family ❤
So wonderful to add a new pup to your home!! Good job. 👍 Enjoy! 🎉
Bless you for adopting that beautiful boy!!!!
Omg I was in tears watching this. Tears of excitement for this baby. So happy you are rescuing a sweet baby. Your an amazing person
Wow that’s so cool.
I would say he adjusted very quickly and found his perfect home 😊
Thank you so much ,your a great soul ...had tears throughout the whole video ...I know Rio's story... you've come along way 🙏❤️
Wow, tears of joy for Koji and Rio too! You all found each for a perfect family! Thank you for adopting this beautiful gentle Giant and I know he will live up to the beautiful name you gave him! Such a sweet boy! Rio looks delighted and so happy! Love, light, and joy to all! 💜 💖🙏🏼
You are a sweetheart in adopting this beautiful boy and a play friend for Rio. Your new boy will be fine and he will only give you and unconditional love. I love your little house in the country. I am new to your family. Good luck❤🌷🙋♀️
Thank you and Bart for taking care of this guy !!! Thank You Thank You so much.
I had an Anatolian shepherd as my dog when I was 13. He was a cool dog. He loved sleeping. Super protective of me. I had him until he was 13. He was friendly with the other family dogs but he loved beating up the neighbors cattle dogs that wouldn’t stay out of our yard. I once saw him take on 6 dogs and thought oh no he’s going to get killed. Not a scratch on him and some very roughed up and bloody cattle dogs. He was a true protector and was a great dog for me growing up.
What a beautiful gift!! This is such a great video!! We need more people like you!❤😇🐶
This video is so heartwarming. Such a sweet big boy. I am so glad he came into your guys life, you all deserve the happiness you will bring each other.
Your heart is so kind…… love is so beautiful shared w/ the helpless ❣️
Koji is stunning and obviously a perfect fit and addition to your family! As an adolescent, we raised great Pyrenees. Pyrs are extremely loyal and very protective of their property in person. It appears she will have no training issues with Koji. Hard to imagine why he was left on the side of the road but sometimes hardships occur and in Koji’s case, it was a blessing in disguise.💜
You are an amazing person for doing that I rescue and find homes and I think you're a wonderful mama with a big you wanted to find Rio a sibling and you rescued an innocent soul that needed saved you are an angel in disguise keep up the good work and God bless
Beautiful, Koji is a gentle giant and very chilled out. Great that Rio now has a play buddy and you have a loyal dog guard. Such a beautiful place you have and wishing you all the best. I have two rescues, one from UK and one from Romania and they have their issues but I wouldn’t be without them now I live alone. Stay safe and enjoy life with your pals. Andy UK
My heart is full. I so love this and Koji. I have 2 rescues and I love them so much. Thank you so much.❤️❤️❤️
Tears.. I swear your channel always lifts me up. Thank you for sharing your life with us and keeping me inspired 🫶🏻
This is the sweetest thing. I have seen this year! So excited for you an the two pups. ❤
He's so good with Rio! I love this for you both!! Thanks for loving koji!
I love that wood heater and that fan is awesome too but neither is as awesome as you girl you are a good girl 😀
Yaaaaaaay! Congratulations! Koji is such a sweet handsome boy! 🐾💜 Congratulations to Koji & Rio too. What a beautiful lil family! 🤗
I am so happy for you all! He looks like he loves his new life! And I'm also happy his breed didn't scare you off...my neighbor has an Anatolian and she is a very lovable, loyal and goofy girl! Many well wishes for your new family ❤
Hey Alyssa,
This was such a great video! I've not watched for a couple of months as been really busy so I'm catching up on your latest few Videos! This is a great surprise and What a lovely thing to do! Koji is CLEARLY a lovely dog with a lovely temperament! I've never seen a dog that's been abandoned and been through that much change fit in so well and so quickly! Same goes for Rio! Amazing!
Some things are "Meant to be" and THIS is DEFINITELY meant to be! The stars aligned half way across the country!
Sending you ALL the best wishes thoughts and positive vibes for the future of the new pack. Definitely struck a great balance! 😉❤️☯️♾️
Cheers from London 👍😎🏴🇬🇧
What a beautiful sweet boy!! Congratulations and God Bless!
Wow! What a beautiful dog! He is definitely a sweetheart! I have a rescue Black lab sheppard mix girl and she is the sweetest thing in the world. Very protective and a little hard for strangers but she would protect the house and us with her life. She's the best!
Koji is the perfect name and Reo looks so happy to have a big brother. Kudos to Bart for bringing him from Texas. Alyssa it looks like you have such a happy family in your little cabin in the mountains. Looking forward to seeing more happy times in the future with your growing family.
Thank you so much William
He is absolutely gorgeous. So happy that Rio got a forever friend.
