Thank you very much. During the pandemic I’ve been doing work inside my house. Your videos have my the courage to fix a broken curb. Then I painted it with Portland. Looks great! You’re the man!!
Thank you for your video. I viewed many of them to help me gain knowledge on how to resurface concrete. I watched all 3 of yours and had the confidence to do mine. Turned out great. The old school way. love it.
I laughed when he said, " The correct time limit is one cigarette." "Nobody likes quitters!" Oh you gotta love a guy like that! Love your videos mike! I think I may try these methods on my driveway because I dont have a pressure washer! Thanks!
Hood video and tips. Personally, I just leave concrete alone and the staining doesn't bother me. Mildew, though, has to be removed because it is wicked slippery when wet. Love the videos.
Hey mike don't know if you mention ed this but what kind of glue do you mix with Portland to white wash...curious from Canada... Ps love you're channel.
I have several small cracks in front porch concrete walkway. Going to fill cracks with sand & Flexseal. Want to paint with Portland & glue. Will the cracks with FlexSeal show up? In CA
Thanks Mike. I've tried using Portland cement for resurfacing sidewalks, just like you showed in one of your videos. Do you have a suggestion as to how to make it less slippery for when the winter season comes?
I think adding some sand might help but then your getting into a whole different thing, I am more of a fan of the every year old school whitewashing, thanks mike
Thank you for sharing so much knowledge with us! I have watched all of the repair and resurfacing videos. Have you used a concrete sealant before on top of any of the resurfacing or portland painted surfaces? I am in the northeast as well so I understand that I am committing to maintenance on my steps but didn't know if a sealant might help protect a resurfacer and help it last a little longer.
+Victoria Manieri I know I have to do it every year, and the sealant will usually keep the new stuff from sticking, so I just re-do it every year, thanks mike
Mike Haduck That's a good idea, I had one for about a year went to the Grand Canyon with it. Reason I sold it was it didn't have a slide out, they are a must have. Now I'm saving my pennies to afford one in a few years and hit the road and see the Country..
