Jill, I am in bliss watching you create and show us so many idea’s everyday. I love your video’s so much Thank you 🙏. I loved all your cute cards today. So easy and didn’t take to much time to do. 🎄☃️🎄☃️🎄☃️
Thank you, Patti! I love easy then it's pure fun! :)
Each one is cuter than the next one. Love all of them.
Thanks so much, Edna!
Me, too! I like the unexpected and "creative" color palettes. Then, of course, I must consider which person would actually enjoy receiving an unconventional card. :)
.
Great point, Cyndy!
I just cannot get enough of your stash busting series… great video the longer the better thank you so much❤
I could watch you work all day. These videos have been so helpful to me. Thank you so much.
That makes me so happy to hear that, thank you!
Really love today's cards! I agree, the embossed bottom edge puts them over the top. These videos have been amazing!
That's so kind, thank you, Denise!
I love all three. What a great way to make batches that are not all identical.
Thank you! Yes, it definitely helps keep me inspired and from getting bored!
Thanks so much for all the wonderful ideas, Jill!! I love your cards!
Thanks, Patti!
Another fantastic video. I love all the immense dies, and my favorite card today was the Heart Be Light bear. He is just so adorable!
Thanks, Patricia! I love that bear, too!
I love using non-traditional colors for my Christmas cards. As usual, beautiful cards!
Thanks, Cyndi! Non-traditional can be fun!
I usually prefer reds, greens, yellows and blues on my Christmas cards; but some designs beg for other colors to break up the tradition. These were a nice variety of cards using the same sketch. Thanks for sharing your talent with us as always!
Loved hearing about your color choices, Elise! Thanks! :)
I love traditional colors and I really have to talk myself into using non traditional. But when I do I love the look. Fantastic cards!
Thank, Janet! Love hearing about your Christmas color choices! :)
Love these cards 🥰💕. They’re elegant w/out all the extra work!! Would be easy to mass produce. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Tina!
Love your beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing your process. I’m really enjoying this series!
So happy to hear you're enjoying the series! Thanks, Jill!
I love traditional colours for Christmas but I like to mix it up as well
Love these cards too. I like the embossing detail peeping out at the bottom of the card.
Thank you so much!
I am loving these videos, Jill! I tend to use mostly traditional colors with a few non traditional cards. I love your use of the pink and red! I have to try watercoloring a few more of these fabulous images. You make it look so easy!
Thank you! I had fun sneaking in some pink on these. :)
Really enjoying this series and all the beautiful cards.
That is so nice- thank you, Gloria!
Lovely cards again, Jill! I definitely prefer traditional Christmas colours but I do think the pale brown on the leaves is very pretty.
Thanks, Sheila!
Another die on my wish list (for Xmas 2024!) Gets expensive! Love these cards and the edges you create on them... lovely idea... thank you Jill 😊❤
Jill, I love the "O" filler cards. I've wanted to make a card like those for a couple of yrs. So pretty. 😊
Thanks so much!
I love this series. Thank you for the inspiration. I have ordered this Noel and can't wait for it to arrive.
Thanks for watching and for your order, Ruth!
So glad there is more to come! ☺
Thanks, Barbara! Me, too! :)
I love these so much. Love the stash busting series so much
So happy to hear that! Thank you!
Beautiful cards Jill! ❤️💚❤️
Thank you so much, Jillian!
Love all your ideas. Very inspiring.
Big thanks, Judy!
Beautiful cards, and love the stamp sets!
Thank you, Susan!
Hi Jill, I so love these cute cards!! Thank You for showing other ways of using embossing folders!! Ok, I also love that Momento green You used, so going to have to add that to my list along with the Toffee Crunch 😂Thank You again for a wonderful tutorial ❤
Thank you so much- yes, that green is very nice, too. :)
I have a tendency to go more traditional, but with watching some of your videos, I think I'm going to try mixing it up. I like old-fashioned Christmases and I think using watercolor and light traditional color gives it a bit of an antique look whereas maybe 'mixing it up' with different brighter colors gives it a little more modern look. Your fussy cutting is impressive and your coloring and creativity is always beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I loved hearing your thoughts on this- thanks!!
I usually use the traditional colors, but seeing your color combinations gives me ideas for using the non-traditional colors. Thank you as always for a wonderful video and some great ideas. I just purchased the Large NOEL and the builder. Can't wait to use it and put my small Christmas stamps from my stash in the "O". Looking forward to #8.
Yes! Have fun with the "O"! Heehee! :)
I like traditional colors for Christmas. Reds, blues, greens, silvers and golds mostly
Traditional is always so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
The cards are just beautiful! I can"t wait ti try making them.
Have fun and thank you!
Great way to use embossing folders.
Thanks, Jerry, it's my favorite way-- simple and pretty! :)
I usually go traditional in my colors but it also depends on what the image is that I am putting on my card. Coloring snowmen hats, mittens and scarves calls for using all different colors. I am going to use the Noel die for my Christmas cards and stamp a nativity scene in the center of the O. Thanks for another great video Jill!
I love that idea to add the nativity in the 'O'- fabulous!
These are beautiful! I really enjoy this series. I think I need to upgrade my brushes!
So glad you're enjoying the series- thank you!
Enjoying every idea. TSM.
Thanks, Beth!
Traditional hues for me but since watching your videos and seeing what seems to be a newer version of hues that people choose, I have mixed it up a bit but I find traditional are still what I go to.
Enjoyed this video too! Always do and I have been working on some tags for Christmas 🎄 since like you said, it does not matter when they are done! Although they will be for the presents under the tree!
Thanks for watching and for your super kind feedback! :) Happy stamping, Liz!
Love these cards!!!
Thanks, Deborah! :)
Wonderful cards!
Thanks, Renee!
Your cards are beautiful!
Thanks so much, Patricia!
These are all so cute. PB needs to have a nice discount sale because there are items I want (not need) from the last release too. The embossing folders are really nice textures.
Thank you!
I appreciate your use of the embossing folders and the way you painted Noel.
Thanks, Joan!
Very pretty
Thanks, Susan!
Another fabulous video Jill. I am a traditional colours girl mostly. Occasionally blue & silver, but mainly reds & greens. This is a wonderful series. 💖
Sounds fun- I bet that blue and silver is really frosty and pretty! Thanks for watching!
Always looking for ideas on my embossing folders. Beautiful cards created and shared! Thank you Jill!🎉❤
Thanks, Gwen!
Wow!
Thank you!
Sometimes I like to mix up the traditional colors with something different.
I love the inking of the embossed paper. The cards are so cute and fun!
Thank you so much!
Oh Jill, you know I absolutely love every card you create, and these are simply adorable, but I was thinking and laughing on how do you come up with these ideas, what else are you going to do and you still have 3 more days! 😆 🤣 I know you are awesome girl keep'em coming ❤(we still have cuuuute bears and critters 😮)
I feel like sketches are where I go when I am out of ideas! LOL Thanks for your support, Carla!
Definitely not traditional Christmas colors. But something with shine to it. Using antique embossing powders and distressing the paper to give it a more vintage feel. I’ve also found a glaze that I will rub on with my finger, heat and buff. It adds more of a subtle shine as well with out overpowering the card.
Wow- that all sounds stunning!
@@PennyBlackInc thank you!
I just really love your style and love everything you make! You’re very talented :)
That is so kind- thank you so much!
I look forward to the morning notifications that a new ‘12 days of Christmas’ tutorial is available! I watch them during my lunch break.
To help save postage cost, if non-machinable butterfly stamps are needed, do you suggest leaving off the foam tape? It does create a nice presentation , but if left off, will it still create a “wow” factor?
Awh! Thanks for having lunch with me, Lynne! The card will still definitely have a wow factor without the foam tape for sure. You can even have the focal point image peeking out from inside the "o" instead of over it. :)
I like to use traditional colors mixed with non-traditional colors, purples, pinks, teals.
That sounds so pretty!
Once again, food for thought…lovely cards. I didn’t get the Noel immense die but did get the Joy one, so I will have to try that one. Also have the embossing folders…I like the fact that they are so generic you could use them on any card. Tried my hand at the Santa mug yesterday…first one was too heavy handed with the ink from the re-inkers, so tried again with a lighter hand. This is really the first time I have tried serious water coloring, so I need practice, practice, practice. Thanks again for sharing your talent with us…Joy
Keep practicing and enjoying the process, Joy! :)
Jill do you create your own sketches or do you pull them from the net? This set of cards turned out so pretty. The little bear on the sled is my fav. TFS.
Thanks for asking, Tammy! I create my own sketches based on cards I've done that I was really happy with how they turned out or based on designs I find myself returning to again and again.
I kind of thought so because I don't see sketches on the net like you use and your cards always turn out so good. Not too much and not too little. It seems like they always have a perfect balance.
I'm very traditional with my colors...but I do like white on white too...does that count??? LOL! Think I did a poinsettia card years ago and got daring with some coloring them lavender...actually they were quite pretty!
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous cards with us. 😊 Can't pick a favorite. Lol...I can't find in the product info what brand of watercolor brush you use? Could you please tell me? In my opinion different brands of brushes can make a difference. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. It is a Silver Black Velvet Paintbrush, Round #8. Happy stamping!
Superb cards! I love this sketch as I can use it on the other PB word dies! Question tho: sometimes you use Bristol smooth watercolor paper & sometimes it’s Carson 100 lb. How do you choose which to use?
Great question, Joan! Both are okay for watercoloring depending on your personal preference (I share more about them in this video: ua-cam.com/video/vnOrFIvf0WU/v-deo.html ) BUT if I am stamping a brushstroke/silhouette stamp like on day #3 of this series OR if I am using markers directly to the paper like on day #2 of this series, then I prefer Bristol. For pretty much everything else, I use Canson. Hope that makes sense.
I like both traditional and non. I’m really enjoying this series. I can’t find the border die you used on the Noel card with the stocking. What is the name and is it still available? I didn’t see it linked. Thanks much!
Thank you so much for your comment and for letting me know I missed listing and linking that die! It is 51-717 Border Collection and is available here: shop.pennyblackinc.com/products/productdetail/part_number=51-717/4381.0.1.1.2268.0.0.0.0 . Have a great day!
You make watercolor look easy. What brush are you using for such small areas?
Thanks for your kind words, I use a Silver Black Velvet Round #8. It has a nice point at the end for small areas.
Thank you, I’m new at watercolor and realize it takes practice.
It does. Just give yourself lots of stress-free no pressure time with it. :) The enjoyment and time will matter much more than the brush you use. @@julies.6271
