You've got a good fishing partner there Dad. That first fish was a trophy size but the fortunes of "war" were on her side. I really like your videos and the way you are teaching your children to fish.
Starting at about 11:02 in, there’s a good demonstration of how well that F-115 pushes that boat. I was concerned that the F-115 might not be enough for my 2272 SeaArk, so seeing this helps to to know what to expect. Great videos all of them. My best to you and your family.
Used spend the summers at Peach Beach RV Park beside Maryhill to windsurf and kite surf. Nowadays I kayak fish for walleye, pike and bass in Ontario Canada. Getting a line counter reel was a game changer for me. My success for walleye skyrocketed. I chose the Abu Garcia Max dlc because it's counter is adjustable for line diameter. Can beat trolling a worm rig!! I really enjoyed your video and love how enthusiastic both of you are. Happy catches!!
Great videos! Love that you take your son with you! Jw, I see you went in October. Other than being colder, Is November and December good months to go?
Great video! Where are you buying all your supplies for tying your own spinners, I'd like to give it a go?.I also noticed those nifty boxes with your spinners on the black sponge tubes and I'm curious where I can buy those at? I'm currently using pieces of pool noodles! Thanks for the great video!
My god the size on that one. That must have hurt. I'll admit I always try to figure out where you're fishing. Maybe we'll cross paths this coming spring. I'll be sure to say hello.
How is the limit so high? Do they do better down south than here in AB? Limits like 1-3 fish or fish tags to harvest walleye. Don’t know much about walleye as new to North America.
We have no size limit or quantity limit for Walleye in the Columbia River. However anglers usually will release the larger female fish to keep the walleye population from depleting.
@@wolfferguson1293 another reason the limit is so high, the walleye will absolutely gorge on smolt (salmon babies) which are the Columbia River's top sought after fish in both spring and fall. Sqauwfish (pike) are also predatory to smolt in the same river and we have an actual cash bounty on catching those fish with no limit. They don't eat well, so unless there's a bounty, no one would target them or care. It's about the salmon runs.
@@wolfferguson1293 best in the world dude no joke! 10 to 12lbrs are so common. It's not crazy until you get in that 15+ range. Such a great fishery. Then eaters for dayyyyyssss!!!
Don't release any walleye, some guides will tell you to release over 22 inches - don't listen to them, we need to clean Columbia of walleye as much as possible

Love it! Great helper 👍
Thanks 👍
What a HUGE fish!
I better go and open them up and check for weight
Unlike walleye at Lake Erie, Columbia River walleye don't eat lead!

What's the best launch for walleye

Thank you. November & December are good months to fish. You’ll catch fewer fish the upside is the fish are larger.

Looked like a solid 10-15lbs. on the net muff.
If not more! 👍🏻

Ranch & Home in Hermiston has the biggest walleye tackle section I’ve seen.

@@Pacific_NW damn. Must be a healthy fish stock to not have any limits

Tough way to learn the lesson of leader length & rod length mater.
Tough way to learn the lesson that a larger net is a must when fishing!
Glad you lost that first fish since it sounds like you would have killed it.
Let’s keep this channel free of nasty comments please. Thank you.
