My Mom n Dad were from Kenora and Winnepeg Canada They fished Lake of The woods alot and I too this day have never eaten tastier fish I was raised in Calif LA Mom called them "Pikeral" I am 73 now and the memories of Dad taking me fishin out on Lake of the woods was thrilling I never got it right when he said which way is home out on the lake He'd laugh at me hey wrong way! There retirement home before they both passed away was on Lake of the woods no different from movie "On Golden Pond" Same setting The Loons would howl often sound so chilling Riveting across the lake haunting eeriness Great video
Great video! My Father and i enjoy fishing up that way for Walleye. WE try to go once per year usually in late may or early june but sometimes the bite can be tough. We had read that the fishing was slow during the spawn but you guys have it figured out well done! WE may try to go next year in april. I clicked on this video this morning because i saw it was fairly recent. Thank you guys for making my Sunday so much better because this video was a treat for us since we are going to be up there here in the next few weeks doing the same thing. I hope the "eyes" are still biting when we get there.
@@Thinkingaboutfishing I know that’s is so true, wish that wasn’t the case. They pull way more fish out repeatedly than any individual fisher that’s for sure. Don’t know the answer to that one… beside Wa state no limit thing is ridiculous…
@@justinrice6924 I was out fishing yesterday and didn’t get a single bite waited until night and pulled bandits and not even a bite… that’s not normal for this area this time of year.. the walleye are getting massacred
@@Thinkingaboutfishing dang we were there on the 1st got one 10.5lber. Going again this Friday. We don’t have any luck with bandits either when we were there.

Are there any good walleye bank fishing area in or near Irrigon or Umatilla besides the pool below the McNary Dam?
I live in this town I catch a lot of walleye off the rocks of the marina at night in the fall they come in so close you can see them
Sweet, what do you usually use from bank? I’ve never tried for walleye from the bank before
Shhhh don’t tell them our spots , got enough guides killing hundreds of walleye every day ,

Are Walleye line shy?
Fantastic! 🤙
Was this first of may?
April 22. Dates are given at the beginning of each segment in almost all episodes.
Ha! I found it. Bottom left at the beginning. Thanks!
Do you drift with the currant or against the currant ?
Mostly with.
Nice catching. Probably should keep the non-native walleye to protect the salmon run.
Agreed. Keep the females too.
Educate yourself
