I feel like not enough people are pointing out how we got a GBA rainbow road map that actually attempts to replicate the physics of the railings. Most custom tracks just end up turning it into SNES Rainbow Road 2.
Huge shoutout to Moo Moo Mountain. The theming may be simple but the geometry, layering, and texture work make it look like a base game Nintendo track.
If the Booster Course Pass was good for anything, it was great for the fact that we now have 48 map slots to put custom modded tracks over! But seriously though, why do almost all of these look better than the Course Pass tracks? (rhetorical question)

The tracks look stunning! GP DK Jungle got my attention the most, because of how it much looks like 3DS DK Jungle. I can't wait to see how GP Bananan Ruins would look like. SNES Donut Plains 2 looks like an authentic Nintendo track, similar to RMX Rainbow Road.
GBA Rainbow Road and Bowser Wastelands are the ones that impressed me the most. GBA Rainbow Road looks well-made and I like that the borders of the road are jump panels, I also like that there are streaks of rainbow lines arching around. I'm disappointed that the floating Bowser castle didn't appear anywhere though. That was my only gripe about it. Bowser Wastelands is amazing as usual. There's so much potential to it. It would be nice if some of the assets used would be replaced with more original ones. It looks like a mismash (which is probably the point). It would really look and stand out more with little tweaks like that though.

Both Yoshi Desert and Dry Dry Ruins use their Tour models. There was actually some recent debate on their inclusions in the BCP because of their new additions in Tour.
Just an idea, but maybe once the entire BCP is out, you can remake your “Every [game] Track Recreated in Mario Kart 8/Deluxe” videos with all the new tracks, and new custom tracks too. In fact, since there’s no more 3DS or DS tracks coming, you can actually recreate them already
Actually. For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, there is a project that is releasing sometime called "CTGP-DX". Has some amazing features! There are a few videos that show some progress on the project here on YT. You should check them out!
there used to be one, called ctgp cafe, that has been discontinued from what I can see. You can still find it online if you look hard enough. For 8dx, there's ctgpdx coming sometime this year

DK Jungle is from the Mario Kart Arcade game. There's an entire temple section that wasn't included.

That N64 Sherbet Land actually feels like the way Nintendo would remake the track.
