I always thought George Reeve's was a terrific actor, and, at the very end, you really do believe Clark Kent is heart broke

Even a Superman can have a heartache. He felt sad that he couldn‘t keep Corky the dog because he knows Superman‘s identity by smelling even in disguise.

George Reeves as SUPERMAN instilled in many, many "Baby boomers" about the fulfilling and redeeming values of common nobility, goodness, and the rich awards of wholesome conduct and behavior. I'll always believe this Superman is quietly looking down from heaven.

I used to work at Kodak restoring film. I am noticing For television broadcasts on Heroes and Icons. that the last reel of AO.S are fading. They are missing blue from the color spectrum of yellow, blue and red. The color then becomes faded and looks pastel
more in the green range with flat flesh colors like 2 color technicolor appeared in the late 19 20"s or early 30"s. I've also noticed the flying sequences are full of duped dirt and scratches. This is really sad to see you would think that Warner would spend some money restoring these shows. They should be pristine As I am sure the original negatives exist. Digital can do wonders.

It occurred to me - Joyce was impressed by Hank’s plan to use Corky to learn Superman’s secret identity. Even though she loves Corky, she’s not exactly a model citizen, being the daughter of a crime boss; so, who’s to say she wouldn’t try the same plan herself?

If Clark keeps Corky and Corky is around superman if he gets hurt or threatened Corky will run to him to protect him or just because he’s worried about him. And that’s a step to finding on Clark is superman. And plus Corkys real owner is Joyce. So Clark kept him that would’ve been dog napping.
