loving these vids brother! u said in a previous video that getting to $50m ARR would bring u to a $1B valuation, curious how those numbers work out? that's a 20x multiple of ARR which seems high but I might be missing something. Are there other companies that it $50m ARR and reached a unicorn valuation?
It’s definitely a stretch at 20x in today’s market, but with a strategic multiple + profitable growth, it’s a feasible valuation!
@@jayhoovy Probably need to sprinkle in AI/LLM based content generation and upsell to a higher tier. That should help justify the 20x valuation multiple and boost revenue.

I don't know but there seems to be a spring in your step. It's as though you've decided this "REALLY IS" what you want to do. It's great to see.
Almost like that excitement and nervous energy the first day of school or Christmas day to open your presents. I think as founders we can become so jaded by all of the things we have to deal with or go through. That it's easy to dim our inner light and just go into robot mode at times. And then we just start losing that spark gradually and the journey becomes more of a burden, than the necessary but fulfilling walk we need to go on to reach our destination.

My energy and motivation has definitely gone through peaks and valleys - I actually earlier this year had a serious burnout session where I almost decided to walk away from everything - right now, I'm feeling really genuinely good about what we're doing, how we're helping, and how much more fun we have ahead of us.

What were you expecting sales wises on day 1? You seemed a bit disappointed.
Yea admittedly wanted a bigger conversion (maybe 1000 or so folks?) but I think we'll get there over time for sure - and we learned a ton!

Mailchimp is the absolute worst, so expensive for about 200% more cost , I think they only exist because people don’t realize it’s easy to switch over
