    Hi Andrew . Thanks for the huge efforts you always make .
    It's a long video though I didn't get bored .
    I know this is silly but I never make up my bed before going to work .I don't know why people do that unreasonable thing. People do that as if they will never go to bed again.

    • @mapleleafesl6162
      @mapleleafesl6162  4 роки тому +1

      Haha, I love that comment. I think making one's bed depends a lot of one's personality; mine is such that I have to or else I feel disorganized and sloppy.

    Dear Andrew! Thanks for your clear explaination! Here is my homework:
    1- Mom! Look at the red hat, it would make for a good pirate during masquerade! 2- He speaks very quickly so I can not make out what is he saying.
    3- My dear, we will live here after our wedding so I'm going to make the condo over.
    4- By the way home he stopped at a bar to have a drink and made off.
    5- What do you make of my girlfriend, Andrew?
    6- This morning I woke up late because I could not sleep at night. I am trying to make up a reason for the delay in coming to my workplace.

    Thank you so much for this phenomenal lessaon Andrew.
    Just a quick grammar question if you don't mind, in the example given by you regarding the phrase make for which was
    This looks like it *would* make for a good lunch for my children. could I know why you used *would* and not *will* in that example..
    Thanks a lot.

    • @mapleleafesl6162
      @mapleleafesl6162  4 роки тому +1

      Great question. The answer is that, in the example given, I am theorizing that it would make a great lunch, but because I don't know yet (until they've tried it), it's still an unreal statement. However, you could instead use 'will' which would imply more certainty.

    Can 'make out' be used to indicate 'manage to escape' from a place? For example: After so many years of being kidnapped, she finally made out

    • @mapleleafesl6162
