- If you love traditional Eggs Benedict you are going to love this casserole version! It has all the same ingredients but way easier to make! Its perfect for a Family Brunch or even have it for Dinner! We loved it and I know you will too!
Ingredients:
6 English Muffins, split and toasted
8 Large Eggs
2 C Whole Milk or half and half
1 C Shredded Gruyere Cheese
2 t dijon mustard
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic granules or powder
1/2 t pepper
1/2t paprika
1-2 T chopped fresh chives
I pkg Knorr Holandaise Sauce

I make this casserole with my homemade sourdough English muffins, but I haven't toasted them first. I bet that adds to the flavor and the texture! I will have to donit this way, next

This eggs benedict casserole looks great! I know that the mustard and chives really added a lot of flavor, and I think that mixing them into the custard that you were going to pour over the top was a great idea. I haven't used that sauce mix, but I really like Knorr products, so I'll have to give that a try at some point, too. Glad to see that you and your husband really liked it.

One of our favorite casseroles, especially for Christmas morning! I have frozen it (thanks to the CV crud and no one being well enough to eat or care about food) for a month and it was still wonderful!
Also, make it EGGS ROYALE by exchanging the Canadian bacon for salmon (I use my home canned salmon) for something different

@@IntheKitchenwithKaren Eggs Benedict Casserole is fabulous and I feed it for dinner parties, game nights, sleepover guests. So much easier to layer it altogether the night before and bake it while I am getting ready for my day, for breakfast and if we are eating it for supper, I will either make it in the morning or pull it from the freezer to thaw in the refrigerator that morning.
Sure beats having to make individual dishes and allows the cook to eat with everyone else!
