Timelapse of our live aquascaping session of the Oase ScaperLine 100 & 4 week follow-up maintenance with common algae problems. This scape was build in 3,5 hours with preselected (not prescaped) hardscape & plants. Nature style aquarium. Aquascape ryoboku.

Dat was een mooi aquarium maar zag gisteren dat jullie hem opnieuw aan het scapen waren. Benieuw wat het resultaat zal zijn, zal moeilijk worden om deze te overklassen!

De scape was ondertussen 14 maand oud en al even over zijn hoogtepunt. Leuk dat je hem mooi vond! Het is altijd een klein beetje triest om een mooie scape af te breken, maar het is weer een nieuwe kans om eens iets anders te doen. De nieuwe inrichting zal iets helemaal anders zijn qua stijl!

What kind of wood is this? I'm asking because I mainly only see dark brown wood at the local stores we have. I want these brighter orange type wood but no idea where to find it.

This wood is called 'Ent wood' and it is our first time using it. Most woods (even light coloured) will turn dark after a few weeks/months. A wood type that stays quite 'light' is mopani wood, but is very heavy & releases tannins for a long time.

Lower lights and turn down CO2 to reduce algae.

Depends on the situation, current lighting settings, CO2, ferts,.... But can work very well in some cases!
