What a great video! I was totally mesmerized and loved all the patterns you created on the fly. Thank you for making it look so easy. I am another step closer to actually starting a procreate account.

This is super inspiring! Just to create and express something unique is so cool. I don’t even care about making money. I just want to learn and explore and express my own artistic style. Thank you for openly sharing your techniques.

Love, love, loved it! I have been away for a while after a stressful house move but am starting to get back into POD and seamless patterns. I have used these methods before but needed a refresh and you have done a great job. I did not however, know about the feathering technique and this was my favourite bit. I’m rushing off to try it now. Thank you Mey ❤️

Sorry I ghosted from the chat during the premiere, Mey. My computer shut down on me and I didn't get back up before the video ended. Just watched the replay with my iPad in front of me. Once I figured out how to get the snapping to work correctly from looking at the settings on your screen, I was able to follow all of your directions! So much easier than any of the other tutorials I'd watched. Thanks so much! I'm going to make so many seamless patterns now.

Oooh, excellent idea! I'm going to give that a try later tonight - stream the video on my TV with my iPad in front of me. Thanks!

Thanks again for the idea. My “pause” and “rewind” buttons took a beating, but I managed to get a couple of designs (not very good, but DONE) created. Yay me. 😃

Wow, thank you for such a thorough tutorial on seamless patterns. Love all your creations, so hard to choose a favourite. I say they are all winners! The first method works for me and following your instructions I created some mandalas that I will use in my Zazzle store. I love the "feathering" feature and will incorporate that into new designs. A really useful tutorial, Mey, and cannot wait for your next bundle! Thank you for the freebies and all the best with your next move and the new channel. It's going to be amazing. :)

Thank for tutorial. Can you tell me which color profile do you use?

    • @MeyTribe

      I mostly use RGB.
I know many use CMYK, but I use RGB on platforms and products that support that.
If you wanna see how RGB looks like on products, check out the product review playlist- everything there is in RGB:

This was so fascinating to watch, I really like them all, my fav technique is the abstract art.... the last technique is pretty advanced but that's my fav end design.

Have to leave to meet friend for lunch soon, but have already put this in my Saved library to watch again - probably several times! Fav design is hard to choose! Loved the first one that was so symmetrical (and blue-fav color), and then the "abstract" one surprised me and I liked it once in the seamless pattern, but I think that final one with the sun and bird and kit and multi-color background probably wins out as fav. Thanks for ALL the info. Awesome as always.

Of course, all the techniques were awesome, however I’m particularly drawn to the first one using the symmetry tool as I love those kind of mosaic type tiles. I’m actually putting up some pressed metal tile pattern similar to this in my kitchen for the backsplash. Very stylish, in my opinion. Your pattern videos are definitely winners and I can’t get enough of them. So looking forward to your new channel so please keep us informed. I too have suffered a medication induced brain injury which I hope to eventually heal from, at least in part, and I’m always on the lookout for helpful ways to make life more “doable” and enjoyable while being restricted in mind and body. Your channel here has helped me SO much as I explore my “closet” creativity and I’m having so much fun with you and Skillshare. A HUGE thank you for all that you do, Mey. You help make my life more joyful. Take good care, my friend. Luv ya, girl. 😻💜

Great video, I learned so much from it. My faves are the purple, and the "tie dye" no matter what they would be on.
Please keep us updated on the new channel, so many of us need to know we aren't alone and we can inspire an uplift each other! ❤

Another AWESOME video tutorial, Mey ... thanks so much for this instructive video & the freebies, too!! (LOVED that 1st design the most, but the last design was super cute also.) Can 4k x 4k patterns be used to make curtains, shower curtains, or blankets? I know I ran into an issue when I tried using a 5k x 5k pattern (created in Canva) to create a shower curtain. (Zazzle kept saying the resolution was too low.) Bummer that you've got to go through another move ... praying your move goes smoothly & you get settled quickly!

Add images with transparent background to where? (A bit confused as this is a seamless pattern tutorial and all of my patterns here have a background.)
