Thank you, so much, Mey! This is just want I needed while I'm in the "learning curve" of my iPad. The pattern maker tool is so cool ... and dare I say it - super addictive. Thankful they limit us on the number of uploads!!!
I appreciate your authentic personality Mey. Grateful you take your time and explain in great detail your "how-to" tutorials. Peace & Blessings to you.🙏🏾❤
@@higherdimensionalliving4619 Heard about them, not working with them yet as they are UK based so items from there are tricky to get into Bulgaria. (and sorry for the late reply, I pretty much get notified on a first comment, UA-cam doesn't place an "unanswered" comment when it's in a row :))
Mey, you are SO right! Good thing that they limit to 10 uploads per day; as I'm ALREADY "obsessed" with all the cool patterns I've been able to create (O.K., at least according to ME! LOL) thanks to this company and to you for sharing with us! 😀
I so love the pattern maker designs. I am looking to create them myself. Thank you so much for sharing patternmaker, look forward to having fun with it myself. I have not started redbubble and after your video I didn't continue. I found it reprehensible on their part with shaming people.
Keyword strategy is not something I usually do. I mean, the keywords for these designs would obviously be "pattern", the colors in the design, and the type of pattern (for example - geometric, cats, etc...) The best keyword strategy for every platform- is to market your own designs to your own audience. Regardless, for patterns I think Society6 or Art of Where would be great, also RB if you have a blog that targets home decor.
Hi Mey, loved your video and will be giving wow patterns a try. I'm pretty new to your channel and been binge watching your videos as often as I can. I'm amazed as to how you manage to fit everything in tho lol. I too am a fibro sufferer and know how bad some days can be! I've been selling printables on etsy for a couple of years, but I had no idea there were so many pod sites!! .. Just a couple of questions if you don't mind? do you sell on all of them? and which do you recommend to sell on? x
Oh me oh my, Mey, i love this pattern maker tool, so correct me, if i'm wrong, but i understand it as if i pick an image even a Royalty Free image, i can use it commercially if i use the pattern maker in order to change it, am i right about this? i just want to be sure, Oh also what if i make what i feel is a unique image & unknowingly, someone else has actually made the same exact image, hhmmm? thanks so much.
If you find a royalty free image and focus on a small part of it and make a pattern- you have modified the original photo enough to sell. BUT- that's only if that's what it says on the website you're downloading from, and if you actually patterned it to be different enough
@@j.m.england6828 Hey, I'm not sure I understand the retribution part... And as for using it- I have had several tutorials of applying patterns to multiple platforms, and selling on multiple platforms. There are over 30 print on demand marketplaces and suppliers that sell phone cases, pillows, and so many other products that patterns can be on top of. I couldn't have placed them in this video- as this was how to make patterns quickly with this specific tool. You need to start with finding out- what you wanna sell, where you wanna sell it, and how to market it (especially with patterns that don't really have "keywords" to target. With that said, I am planning a video that would be all about patterns- what to do with patterns, where to sell them, so maybe that video will help you out :)
I was shocked first when I found them, and it was totally by accident ! I was searching for a generator to see if my patterns "work" LOL like a tiling demo
@@MeyTribe i was sooooo excited, but then i uploaded 3 pics to pattern, and after that when i tried to upload others, it just got stuck on 'please wait...' and wouldn't work :( maybe there's a limit of 3 uploads in a day? anyway, it's a VERY cool tool!!
I saw it being on 10 per day, and saw the "please wait" and just clicked on it and it worked. Also sometimes the photo might be too big, so just try again.
Hello Mey, Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passions! I haven't seen you use Adobe Capture and Fresco, which are free on the iPad. Capture is amazing and does a lot more than Wowpattern. I enjoyed using Wowpattern but tried and tried to make those patterns seamless but could not quite manage it. So, created a few POD items anyways but had to limit the items due to the limits of these patterns as you showed as well in this video. Just an FYI and possible video op for you.)
ok. I couldn't resist and uploaded all ten. hahaha. Boy those are some funky and eyestraining patterns I made. hahaha. So much fun! Thank you! (I used my concert pix and art.)
Hello Mey. I used the tool but I don't know if I'm making a mistake, because when I try to make the pattern it doesn't match in either Canva or Pycheung... I don't know what to do, I tried several times
Super new to pattern designs and am trying to wrap my head around why some seamless designs are created and sold as a 12inch x 12inch tile (i.e. only the pattern with no repeats) and others are created and sold as 5000pxl x 5000pxl with multiple pattern repeats. What is the reason for doing them in these 2 different ways? Thanks
I noticed that you downloaded the images as JPEG's, is that ok for uploading to POD Sites? I thought I read somewhere that images needs to be PNG's?? I am still very new at this 😃
PNG files usually have higher resolution than JPG, but if the JPG file is big enough (in this case it was) than the resolution is just fine. On Printful, for example, they tell you if the DPI is good or not.
I have amazing patterns that I crated with this tool 3 years ago. Guess what? never sold a single one (on 2 platforms) even though I'm selling my other non pattern designs. I feel like patterns are not that popular.
I think that it's all about the marketing. Most of the things I sold over the years were patterns, I mean, even when I started RedBubble, for 4 years I didn't have anything made on tshirts, mostly patterns on items. Also, the patterns made on this tool mostly don't come off as seamless, just as a simple pattern, so it can be nice for a background for a certain design. If what you are selling is mostly non-patterns, than def go with that :)
hey sis thankyou soo much for the tutorial...😊I just tried it out today... but the images after downloading appears super pixelated on zooming any suggestions ? was it the same with you sis ?
I didn't order anything with it yet, as I have better softwares for design and make my patterns manually, this was a cool tool for people who don't have their own pattern making software... Though I might test order something with it in the future (at the moment that is hard with the Bulgarian post office being down)

You can’t change it really… I’m mostly been using Repper now they are far better
