@@dermotwallace5533 we live off road... so there's no avoiding it.. the roads are crappy and washboarded... and the constant dust and sand means forget trying to wash the inside or even the outside... 😆
yes it is more of a downhill crawl feature... crawl meaning under 10mph... for mountain highways just set cruise control at your desired speed and the transmission will automatically downshift to control your downhill speed from running away on you ❤️ 😃 ✌️
Can you use the DAC without putting the vehicle in 4low? How fast is the highest speed the vehicle will travel or is able to travel while inDAC? Last question is, can you or would it be advisable to use that feature say coming down a continuous steep paved roadway covered in a lot of snow? There is a resort where we ski at and it's really steep getting off the mountain. I'm always scared driving downhill because i feel like the truck is going to slide off the road.

@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD I just took delivery yesterday of a 2023 GX 460, base model with the premium plus pkg which includes the ML sound system. It was just under 68K, drive off, here in Houston. Right now I’m at the meticulous care stage of ownership, but I do plan to off road and beach bunny it down the road. Mine is pearl gray with the sepia interior. I bought a new 470 nearly 20 years ago and can’t believe how much the vehicle has changed. Enjoying your channel!

as I recall DAC needs 4L... 4L also slows the gearing ⚙️ down which slows your speed... not much will defeat ice/snow... use extreme caution ⚠️

So do I engage the rear differential locker before 4 low? Or is this not necessary
GX460 has no rear locker, it has a center locker

I read the owners manual and did not appear to be necessary to have the center locker engaged before engaging 4lo

We love stock! best of both worlds when combined with the KDSS... but that's just our preference! ✌️

Question: Why is the tire pressure higher on your spare?
dealer probably set them all at 40 psi or something absurd... let them down to the proper 32psi and was too lazy to do the spare 😅
