Placebo are an English alternative rock band, formed in London in 1994 by singer-guitarist Brian Molko and guitarist-bassist Stefan Olsdal. The band were soon joined by drummer Robert Schultzberg, who was replaced in 1996 by Steve Hewitt. Hewitt left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Steve Forrest in 2008.

i am a 48 black man and recently started listening to music I would not ordinarily listen to and boy am I sorry for starting so late, I have always been a square peg amongst round holes and this is were I belong and am gorging now and I love it.

I think this is probably the best live version of Running Up That Hill. Molko made a moment here.
This is my favorite rendition of this song, I guess. Molko opens up in a very involving way. There's a lot of... gravity to his performance here. It's astonishing

gotta say, stumbled upon Placebo via a Kevin Bacon like path. Looked up "where us my mind" live by the pixies and saw Placebo covering. Followed a few more links, found this "running up that hill" live song. Fell in love, listened to many other versions but always come back to this one. Great find, great band, great lyrics, my fav song right now
