    I have been doing bonsai for about 17 yeras know and have seen a lot of diferent and good explanations on wiring. I have been wiring as long as I have been doing bonsai. This is the best online explanation I have seen. Easy to understand. Great work Anne!

    Wow. Thank You Madame Bonsai! I'm new to the hobby, and have been watching tons of videos about it, to LEARN as much as I can. So, I've already seen a couple of "wiring" videos, but this one of yours should be mandatory! All "newbies" should be required to watch this. I learned SO much about wiring, I can't wait to try and practice. Just the part about choosing gauge size is priceless. The total comprehensiveness is insane.       @@MadamBonsai2023 I think all of us would love to see this Korean Hornbeam fully wired out. I have a similar Hornbeam (but 15 years younger), and I didn't have a direction for it, but this tree is inspiring! Also, I wouldn't worry about your explanations not making sense---they're spot on.

    Thank you very much very informative just wondering if you got any hints for me because of a disability in my hands both hands are quite weak and although I can use one hand to wrap the wire I find it difficult to hold and support the branch while I'm twisting the way it's a bit difficult to explain but at the moment I support the branch with a spoon and bend the wire are the branch around the bowl end of the spoon I have tried using pliers to hold the branch but I have to let go the and it breaks a branch thank you very much

    Do you use bare metal wire or is it lined with plastic? Is bare copper wire recommended?

      Metal heat-up harm your trees a bit
      copper is the best it set better but harder to do through
      Aluminium is the most easier to use cheaper too :)

      It start from 1 to 8 in half in between
      Lot of
      But 1.5 2.5 3.5 are most used

    This is a great explanation but a lot of wire marks on tree. Need to stress to importance of removing the wire before it cuts into the tree

      6 months for maple fast grow plant
      Pine need like a year but you can check now and then to see if they set
