These are the best videos for anyone who’s serious about learning bonsai. The videos are long and maybe that’s why the number of views are surprisingly low. But it’s also why they are so informational and educational. This is like the university of bonsai for anyone who wants to learn. Thank you!

I totally agree. I am new into Bonsai. About 6 month. I saw alot of Videos and it is pritty logical to me because i have studied wood Management , so i already knew alot about the biologie soil etc. Never the less this Videos i need to repeat much more because they are packed with information! Also he links the knew knowledge about Bonsai to my old knowledge very well, and i can tell already that he knows his buisness very well! Looking forward to learn more!

The single most important video for any beginner, or even advanced bonsai hobbyist. Not only does he give a clear, comprehensive masterclass on detail and structural wiring, he reviews pruning decision making, branch movement, and touches on the overall design and function of branches and pads. I'll be re-watching this video several times.
Ryan is the best bonsai communicator I've ever heard. He deserves our patronage.

When I first started working with junipers, I was a bit confused about what you should and shouldn't do. A bit intimidated even. But after watching some grow for a few years, and experimenting, they have become a favorite of mine. This video is hand's down the best I've ever seen, when it comes to explaining what stays, and what needs to go. No more fighting through foilage trying not to crush or break anything. Thanks

These free videos are incredibly rich in content. Well produced and Ryan is a great teacher that knows how to get a message across. Making complex material easy to digest. To imagine that this is only about 10% of what you'll get for signing up! Thank you for opening the occasional video and educating us. I am just a green fingered amateur with a broad interest in growing stuff and gardening. I have some nursery trees that I try to convert to bonsai but when I decide to get more focused on bonsai I will definitely sign up. Thank you Bonsai Mirai.

Instead of "inside to out" or "close side to far side" depending on where you are sitting you could use "proximal" or "distal" like in human anatomy so its not ambiguous. Thanks for the great video!

Thank you Ryan! As a newbie the knowledge I have gained from your videos is in a different league to anything else online. You have left me with one point of confusion, around the placement of structural wiring under or over structural branches. You mention briefly to place wire over the shoulder if moving branch up or under shoulder if bending branch down. This is opposite what I've been led to believe. Could you provide a bit more clarity pls.
