I love those old wooden roller coasters and grew up with them in the 1950's and 60's... and while todays coaster might be bigger and faster... nothing compares to the sound and sensory feelings of riding a true wooden coaster. Thank you for another wonderful video.
this was my 2nd Woodie credit after the Original Colossus at Magic Mountain right after it opened in 78 , that yeet Airtime after the turnaround is epic.
It sounds like someone is making music with glass bottles. If you ever dragging your hand across a metal hand rail and walk faster you can hear the tone get louder and a little bit higher pitch.
Phewy that lifthill has some dips and bobs! That actually has some really tight turns for an old woodie. Interesting GCI like cars instead of old Philadelphia 2-3 row bench seat cars.
Playland also recently opened Canada’s first launch coaster, so 2025 would definitely be a good time to go. Also there’s an amusement park at Cultus Lake in Chilliwack BC & that amusement park has a mine train themed roller coaster. You could get a few different credits on one trip.

MY HOME COASTER!! Only 10min from my house. Let's gooo!! Amazing footage guys
I think we might be neighbours
It mustve been hard to be quiet while filming on the airtime moment!
First and that chainlift sounds like breaking glass

1930? I'm impressed.
I really like the sound of this lift hill
I thought the same thing. It would make a nice background noise for a song that includes jingles.
I find it funny that there's a full-blown wooden coaster at a state fair. You don't see that every day!
What in the demented mind of John A. Miller thought that he could design a second drop that launches you to Vancouver? That's just amazingly insane.
That's hardcore!
Geese, that coaster is almost 100 years old!
0:52 is the moment.
probably the best coaster in my home state! not sure what that says about my home state though
that anti rollback sounds like music. who's the manufacturer?
Anti-rollbacks sound like wind chimes 😂
Millennium flyer trains from temu?
i need to ride this soon i live close but its inconvenient timing
When’s the next stream?
That coaster is older than 0.01% of the people in the world.
Is it rough? It looks fun
Smooth!
@ ooo
You NEED to do coaster at PNE playland
One day!

And the best anti rollback award goes too...
.
Besides that one drop off the turnaround, none of the other drops and hills look to offer anything.
True
The hill following is pretty insane, but the ride has to be hauling to get any other similar moments
for the rest of the ride it's small pops of light ejector. nothing insane, but also pretty fun
