On has become a lifestyle brand rather than a running shoe brand … too expensive for not much value. Asics, Adidas and Puma… are really doing well in recent times

The stacks are misleading because of the holes. They should measure when compressed. But it's clever marketing so they can claim a bigger stack while using less foam underfoot
Imho agree with nick, very clunky dead shoes, tried both at store on the treadmill and blehhh, eclipse is the ones I chose as just had to have an ON shoe in my collection 😂
I'm having fun with my On Cloud Monster Hyper ! But, I still prefer my old Cloud Stratus 3 over my amazing Eclipse and Hyper.
When more color options arrives later this year, I will give it a try with the Monster 2.

On Cloud Eclipse, Cloud Surfer and possible Cloud Boom Echo 3 are the only real 'running' shoes that On make. They should be using CloudTec Phase in all shoes now
Lots of hate for ON but I must say I’m a big fan, tried Superblast, Endorphin Speed 3, Novablast, Deviate Nitro and for me I still find myself reaching for my Cloudmonsters for easy runs and long runs
Just shows that running shoes really are subjective 🤷🏻
If you can afford the Hypers then Go for it. Other than that... either shoe will do. Cushion Performance is subjective to the USER... If' you're a Big Bloke then you'll appreciate these Monster shoes.
