That's literally what this is. It's somehow directed as if it's a cartoon set in the real world! Like, c'mon, Wade gets super powers via a low budget rock opera vision detailing the events of Knuckles' past where he's dressed up as Knuckles and fights a giant Iblis puppet that likes buying stuff from Facebook Marketplace! Like... Jesus, what an acid trip this show is! XD
I enjoyed it a bit, I was so hyped before the release, but i was really dissapointed when i saw it as it wasn't focusing on Knuckles enough and the show has too many silly moments etc. In my opinion, it would be cooler if the plot involved Knuckles going on an adventure on Angel Island or something and meeting and teaming up with the Chaotix
Oh yeah, that would be 1000 times cooler! After the Chaotix background appearance in the Sonic Movie Pre-Quill comic, when this show was first announced I was kind of expecting Chaotix would be involved in some capacity.
I *hated* Wade's family lol 😂. The sister was nearly unbearable to me. The mother was ok, and Cary Elwes was awesome as always. Oh, and Knuckles was there...
This show is a guilty pleasure. Knuckles is my favorite Sonic character, and this show...is not the reason for it ^^ But it's very odd and dumb, and I enjoyed it.
I was pretty disappointed with this series. Knuckles was more of a background character to Wade and I thought the show was unfunny overall with annoying characters and a lacklustre story. It was a chore to get through.
When I heard of Knuckles the TV series, I knew that it could not be as great as the movies. Especially, after I knew, that this will be only 6 episodes long. But what I was hoping for, that this will be a fine intermission between movie 2 and upcomming part 3, only this time the focus is more on Knuckles and Wade. I guess this is exactly what it has to be. On score, I would give the series a 7.0 - 8.5 MAX.
paramount does this thing where they take a show someone pitches to them and marries it with an IP they have the license for. they did the same thing with halo as they did with knuckles, and it's really frustrating. i was all-in to give this show a chance despite all of the negativity i saw online, and just ended up feeling the same in the end. there's a lot of good moments and lots of laughs, but it's tinged with this pain and insult of missed opportunities and complete mischaracterisations. pachacamac was the biggest pain point for me and it was downhill from there; one of the most lowkey villainous characters of the series reimagined as a loveable grandad. i'm fine with it all as a new continuity but it still felt uncomfortable. the highlights were all taken from the movies, which doubles the insulting feeling because it feels like the writers didn't know what to even do with these characters except run highlight reels.
I understand why a lot of people didn't like it or were disappointed by it, but it was endearing to me, and I enjoyed it for what it was. I agree it could have been better in a lot of ways, but it also could have been a lot worse. I hope for a season 2, and in general more of the world that the films and the show take place in. I think there is still a lot of potential if they took it seriously.

I enjoyed the Show quite a bit, even though it felt more like the "Wade show" near the end.
I had a fun time with this show. I have a lot of respect for Knuckles and Wade a lot more now. This show was a really good time 8/10.
I keep telling my friends, why doesn't Sega just use the music they already own? That music is great and would get instant pops in the audience!
