From Astarion's pov this must seem like a bad trip 🥲
The siblings even have more dialogue but its currently impossible to trigger For example: Violet will praise Kelemvor and say she is giddy with joy. Yousen can reveal he has been a spawn for 60 years.
The missing interactions with some spawns must be the result of the not having Astarion in the party or meeting Petras and Dalyria. Astarion's had a bad trip indeed 🥲.
Looks like these lines are meant for any playable character, not Astarion. They're all very impersonal, don't address Astarion and how the other spawn thought of him. So it's just the same lines you'd get if you did it yourself. But I never did this without him, so thanks for sharing!

And still we cannot tell Leon that Dalyria killed his daughter. Poor thing😥
The only thing they now truly care about is their survival and new creatures to feed. Well, in this scenario mostly.
I headcanon that Leon will eventually find out and kill (or attempt to kill) Dalyria.
That seems like an oversight. Why show us the journal if we can’t use it in dialogue?
Wait but didn't Leon's daughter write in the journal about unsuccessful attempt on her life by Dalyria? Otherwise, how would she write it
@@contestedterritory No, Dalyria wrote she was a doctor before so she would cure herself with young blood. She was aware that Leon protected Victoria with necro magic, but supposed he lied. Dead Victoria produces necro energy, so we can assume Dalyria found a way to dry poor girl out.

Interesting. So the game assumes that Astarion was recruited in the beginning as usual and Tav/Durge just fought Cazador without him.
So much possibilities but there's a limit to what devs can do. Larian Studios did make a masterpiece game, no doubt. But there are no limits to human imaginations when they try to seek every potential aspect of a game 😃.

Tbh there is so much that is wonky about that area
The absolutely bizarre placement of the entrance to the palace
The strange layout for the inside of the area itself
The somewhat abandoned cutscene for if Astarion gets kidnapped by his siblings
The entire arc of the girl who was living in the attic
The bizarre plothole where Cazador for some reason _can_ use Astarion's corpse for the ritual, but _cannot_ use the corpses of any of the siblings _nor_ of the vampire guy who offed himself but was meant to act as Astarion's replacement
The concept that Cazador has apparently just sealed himself in the chamber despite knowing he has no ability to complete the ritual. Apparently with the sole intention of just standing there screaming about how not-there Astarion is for an indefinite amount of time. Which makes very little sense on so many levels
The fact that the Gur apparently only care about their children enough to send someone else to do the fighting for them, but don't even offer a hand, but absolutely _will_ invade the palace after you just to pick a fight if you don't do things exactly the way they want you to
^ don't get me wrong I think they made great game and Astarion is easily one of the most compelling arcs in the entire thing for me (part of why I'm so critical of it ironically)
But almost everything about that segment leaves me with the impression they had a lot more planned - possibly even had more done - and it just got lost in the culling of act 3 or whatever
The fun things we find in this game ❤ I just started my first astarion origin run but modded to where he is also the dark urge 😈 can wait to see what happens
This is amazing! Wow, Astarion as a vampire and the Dark Urge. The fusion is perfect. A vampire trying to control his Dark Urge 😃.
@kapitainein I also made him a paladin within 1 hour off the ship the whole play through is chaos 🤣😭🤣😈 and I customized shart to look like my tav I usually play as because I wanted to still be there unleashing chaos with astarion only as shart 🤣😈

The trapped seven thousand spawns were just innocent. My feelings towards Petras changed a lot after watching the cutscene. I used to think of him to be a fool but he showed a lot of maturity in here.
Interesting! I haven't gotten this far into my Astarion Origin... is that different from this if you don't ascend and free the spawn?
If you're doing the Origin Astarion playthrough then you'll have to choose your own actions, dialogues and make your own choices whether to free or release them. This is different ☺.
@@kapitainein Yeah I know, but I meant the dialogue options with the spawn after they're freed. Are they any different when playing as Origin? Are they even available?
@@snowpoler Individually speaking with other spawns? - No. Astarion addresses everyone at the same time.
