  • Hoggish Greedly & Verminous Skumm are two action figures in Tiger Electronic's Captain Planet 1991 toy line that came with water squirting accessories. I lost mine from childhood and decided to get replacements to show here. See the water squirting in action and enjoy the color compliments they give to these two classic figures.

Not gonna lie, I didn't care for water squirting toys as a kid, but I probably would've bought Hoggish Greedly just for how chunky the figure is. 😆 I've a soft spot for pegwarmers, and he's honestly one of the better ones I've seen.

He would fit as a bad guy for any toy back then. Water quirt is a bit of a cheap feature but these makes sense with the color change Captain Planet figure. And the Water Powered Planteer couldn't ask for a better feature than shooting water also. The Terminator figure I had that came with a water pack.....kind of lame....

Water spraying features in action figures lives well into the '90s. I'll always associate the gimmick with MOTU vintage Kobra Khan and Snout Spout (Hose Nose in Filmation animation). Impressed that these eco-villains hold a decent amount of water unlike the ones in MOTU.

Impressive capacity for Greedly. I'm surprised the spray version wasn't use more from Khan, but I guess it's a pretty weirdly specific type.
