Now I've been crocheting for over 7 years and you young lady are the first person I've seen to start a granny square with a magic circle!!! I LOVE IT!!! YES!!!! Keep up the fantastic crochet tutorials, thank you so much for sharing this.
Merci beaucoup ,très bien filmé,très clair et facile à suivre, j’ai crocheté en faisant plusieurs pauses et j’ai fait mon chandail en même temps que toi. Merci d’avoir pris du temps pour nous montrer ce tutoriel
I love it. I'm starting it tonight. I'm slightly hooked on Granny Squares at the moment. I just recently finished two granny square bags. I can't wait to get this finished:)
Thanks for the lovely pattern !!! Great tutorial !!! On another tutorial I've recently watched the lady stated that when one makes a granny square and after each round chained 3 and turned and continued the granny pattern going the opposite direction alternating each round in the opposite direction that the granny square is more perfectly squared ...as going in rounds in the same direction every round makes it's a bit more askew looking !! I tried it and it really works....just a observation ie. Granny squares ! I love learning new things and thought it was brilliant suggestion !! I can't wait to make this crochet top !!!
Great! Be sure to go slowly. If you if put "slow" and "beginner" in the title, you'll get 10 million views! I gave up trying to make Granny squares because the tutorials kept referencing the "corner" and I would look at my work, thinking, "what corner?". At least I can SEE your corners in the video ... and your explanations are crystal clear!
This is an easy, basic granny square. It’s been around since before I learned to crochet almost 50 years ago. I realize everyone is different, though. Maybe a solid granny square would be easier for you. Just remember, the first row or two are awkward. Just hang in there!

Wow that's awesome
And how do we seamlessly match the sides up? You skip over that part and tell us to meet up to finish up neck amd sleeves
I have a video called "how to seamless join" it's a crochet technique.
Written pattern please
Isn't having so much yarn hot in the summer?
Stacy Kwick I have not found that to be a problem
This is awesome! Thank you!
Very confused. You say the sides we want seen are facing eachother but at what point do we turn it right side out then?
When your done putting it together.😀🧶
How much yarn is needed for this project please?
Sue Eddison I needed about 2 Lily’s sugar and cream cones
Use cotton like Amanda Louisa did. It’s cool and comfy in hot weather. If you want an easy to care for top use a 50/50 blend of acrylic and cotton.
amazing
your camera should focus facing you which I find more easy to follow. Anyway, your tutorial is good and clear, thank you. I have like and subscribed.
Lily Wong Thank you! I am unsure of what you mean "your camera should focus facing you"?
Amanda Luisa she means you camera should be from your view. As if you are teaching side by side. Not face to face.
Links you shared lead no where.
I couldn't see what type of yarn you were using, or what hook size, or what size this was going to be
