Summary:
Charlie competes with his fellow shop assistant. He is fired by the pawnbroker and rehired. He nearly destroys everything in the shop and himself. He helps capture a burglar. He destroys a client's clock while examining it in detail.

He was a caregiver to his mother, so love y respect aimed at my gender was a given, imbedded as a child to protect the feminine gender. He had depth, y a lot more. He was a lady's man y we still love y enjoy him when masculine roles are not played out today so much which is sad. Therefore many a people's cling to the past when chivelory was imbedded as an essential into the culture. Man is man is woman is woman y it is vital to accept the truth nature reveals.

Charlie was always amazing and knew what it took to make a film funny, BUT the music is WRONG! Modern jazz playing does not suit this type of comedy and is completely out of place. A better accompaniment would be either old-time piano using songs of the era of when the film was made, or better still a Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ as was used in theatres in the day played by someone who knows how to accompany a silent movie.
