If I sound a little weird it's because this video is originally from 2017! It was blocked worldwide, so we re-edited and here it is! Also, for those that guessed Knives Out was this week, you were right. "Stuff" came up and the video got a little bigger, so that will be next week!
The moment in this movie that always gets me, Ironhide calls humanity an ignorant and violent race... and Optimus, his voice full of old pain, regret, and a fundamental honesty, asks "Were _we_ so different?"
I've always had a soft spot for Michael Bay and his style of filmmaking. While his sense of humor and historical accuracy is questionable at best, his mixture of scenery porn and explosive carnage is captivating to say the least. I especially like the cars he uses for his chase scenes.
"If you're an adult that enjoys these movies, it doesn't mean you have the mental capacity of a child. It means you have the heart and excitement of a child." Well, you know what Snow White said. "You're never too old to be young."
9:52 I've always loved that transformation. The brief pause after he finishes transforming, then the thruster kicks in and he zips down the tunnel with the aileron roll
My childhood was just ending (I was 11 at the time) but I still love *almost* all these movies. Can't wait for Bumblebee 2 and the new reboot movie whenever that comes out. :3
Watching this movie when it came out in '07, at age 6, got me hooked to both Transformers and Linkin Park. It holds a special place in my heart and never fails to put a giant, dumb grin on my face! Friends give me crap for loving these movies, but I don't care - hell, 6 yr old me doesn't care at all. You put giant robots, explosions, nice cars, a sick soundtrack in front of me and I'm HAPPY
I'm kinda sad this video didn't give a win for linkin park I grew up with the films as well and I don't care that they've become a joke or that I'm old now, they're fun to watch and the characters are great (at least in the first 3 films). Its a franchise I forget about for a few months but I always come back to it and I can happily sit down watching the films without a care in the world
My son was 5 when this movie released. I pre-screened it opening night, to make sure there was nothing too much for my 5 year old... And took him to see it the very next day. I grew up watching the cartoons and it was great to be able to share the Transformers with him.
@@jedirayden Glad to hear you passing on a love for the franchise! I'm nowhere close to having kids but when I do, as soon as they're old enough, I will do the exact same thing.
The one thing i mainly love about the transformers movies was the sounds it was and still is satisfying to hear the autobots and decepticons transforming, the guns, the explosions and the sound effects and ofc the visual effects are top notch.
@@jonathanbacenty6485 AOE is fun no matter what anyone tries to say. Seeing Optimus backhand Grimlock ignited my inner child in a way nothing else really can.
"Movie designs sucks because they don't look like their original counterpart" I hate how people say that and not saying that to the past transformers series that changed looks to characters and even transformers prime. And plus Iornhide g1 toy was originally black lol
I love the earlier movie designs all their faces look alien and you can guess what they turn into, and then there's the later designs.. They all dont have vehicle kibble, they all dont look like they should transform into that. And some of them look too human, especially drift and hound.
i like TF1 and 2 i kind of like TF3 cause the only reason why i like it cause of Shockwave and his Driller,TF4 is “cool” only cause i like the Designs but TF5 was a Meh cause of the plot but the Designs are cool
The “Specificity” win for the guy yelling LEFT CHEEK is also based somewhat in realism. In the military, things are said in sets of threes when it’s urgent or an emergency to make sure the message is understood.
That is very true, this also happens in endgame after thanos blows up the avengers base after the snap. Rhodey is under ground with hulk and rocket and he says canopy 3 times in a panic to open the broken suit and we all know he's a colonel in the airforce
Say what you will about the sequels but I'll defend this movie to my dying breath. Peter Cullen as Prime? STUNNING. The CGI mixed with practical effects is STUNNING, the score STUNNING and the SOUND DESIGN THE GOD DAMN SOUND DESIGN MUAH. I'll say it-Transformers really revitalized the action genre. For those that might have forgotten Hollywood was just DEAD in the mid 2000s thanks to the Recession (as well as other huge events) back in the day-Transformers came along and changed EVERYTHING and in the following year we had not only Iron Man but Dark Knight too? Boom boom boom we are not pirates and Hollywood would never be the same again. Also I ate the WHOLE plate. The WHOLE plate is just iconic lol.
I like the idea and the sentiment a lot but if Movie A comes out a year after Movie B, then I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume Movie A was beginning production around the same time Movie B was wrapping production. Not to mention all the CGI, compositing, rendering, editing, reshoots. Again, I like the sentiment but I don't think Transformers revitalized the action genre. At the very least it was at the forefront of the Action Renaissance.
@@rayeittastay2458 I can accept that. I feel like Transformers was like the Little Mermaid of action movies-the start of something BIG and Iron Man and Dark Knight just kind of exploded onto the scene changing everything. And suddenly action was cool again. Fantasy had its moment after 9/11 and was still around thanks to Harry Potter but other than that it mostly died off. And then there was just nothing. Transformers coming around really helped move things along in the right direction for action-it was fun, big BOMBASTIC MR FANTASTIC it was fun, entertaining turn your brain off, make you think about life....and then in 2009 and 2010 animation even got into action a bit and took off it was so good. And my god 2014 was just....ohhhh what a time to be alive. But yes I don't think that would've happened without Transformers.
@@TheRibottoStudios I'm just waiting for the time when Video Game Movies are actually good and not like... *Breaths in* Super Mario Bros. Mortal Kombat Street Fighter Lara Croft Warcraft Doom Assassin's Creed Tomb Raider Need For Speed Hitman Far Cry or Rampage. I forgot about Prince of Persia and I hear their working on a second Tomb Raider, Uncharted and Mortal Kombat for release next year.
One thing that this movie does very well while the transformers are on screen the camera is very grounded so they actually feel like big robots makes them feel more real because of it
Great leadership would be to be working just as hard as the men. Doing the same thing. You’d be surprised how much easier it is to motivate someone if you help them do it instead of telling them
Def good leadership. Like 90 years old, could be inside by the fire keeping warm, instead out there in the freezing cold with them inspiring the men with words of encouragement.
They really made optimus feel like a warrior in this and something to be feared. Which kinda adds more credit to megatron being his equal and counterpart.
People always say that the bayverse optimus is too brutal, or ruthless, but in the Bumblebee movie, in the games, and especially in the comics, he's the same essentially. He's a brave, inspiring leader but in a fight he becomes "Optimus 'Fuck 'round find out' Prime"
SpaceRaccoon 1337 I agree. People seem to forget that the bay verse is meant to show if these creatures existed in the real world. They’re fighting a real war. They can’t expect optimus to go “Ok ur bad, but I’ll let you go” to every decepticon he fights. Mostly how the bay verse shows that the war has been going on for eons now.
Same, these movies are the "turn of your brain and enjoy what you see" types of movies, and the stories actually do make some semblance of sense if you don't think about it too much...unless you're The Last Knight, you can turn your brain off and it's still boring as fuck, mostly because there's barely anything to enjoy, the movie is like 2/3 senseless talking, and makes so little sense that you can't not pay attention to it. At least the previous 4 had stories that actually made some sort of sense but the 5th movie is just...something, clearly, just not the good kind of "something"
Sec Def: “You’re coming with me, you’re going to be my advisor.” Glen: “Me too?” Sec Def: “Who’s this?” Maggie: “He’s my advisor.” Sec Def:”... he comes too.”
Here is somthing ive never told enyone when i was small my dad got me a lazer to point at the sky cause i thoght it whould summon robots when my dad passet i never lost the lazer so this movie holds a spot in my hart
This movie was absolutely incredible when I first saw it. I ended up seeing it 3-4 times at the cinema it was that good. For all the reasons CinemaWins pointed out. I think I was 12 at the time and this film blew my mind, the special effects were like nothing I'd ever seen. Seemingly realistic futuristic robots battling it out across our planet. I was truly awestruck
While I loved the entire trilogy (revenge of the fallen being my favorite), Extinction was good but could’ve been better, and Last Knight wasn’t trash, but wasn’t that good either. Hopefully in the future we’ll have a perfect transformers series
I actually agree. To date, I really recognize the flaws the movie has and I kind of saw them the first times I saw it, and I can understand why people hate the franchise, but I will admit it's a kind of blameful pleaser xd.
Little kid me loved every single second of the movie, man. I think I was 5 when I first watched this? Now that I'm older and more jaded, the film's plot is mediocre at the best of times, the dialog can be stilted, some of the jokes don't land or haven't aged very well, and it leans a bit hard on Megan Fox's sex appeal sometimes, especially in future films. But I'll be damned if it isn't a spectacle from start to finish. The models and animation are fantastic, everything looks so hyper-real. Everything in the movie moves like it has real weight associated to it. The sound design, as pointed out in the video, is also incredible. Do I really care about the characters? Not really. In retrospect, the only reason why prime stood out to me so much (check the username) is because he had a badass sword and an awesome voice. But again, the visual feats the movie pulls off are absolutely incredible.
The Skorpinok village attack scene will forever be one of my all time favorite scenes in film, the quick shots between the soldiers and their air support mixed with the quick communication and score gets me every damn time
true fact: i was at high school when this movie came out and it’s still to this day my favorite movie from the impact it had in my life, i was so obsessed that i would watch it everyday after school, i was amazing on how real it looked and it was what encouraged me to become a 3D artist which lead to a successful career as graphic designer and 3D artist, say what you want about michael bay, and yes, not all of the transformers where great, but to the eyes of a kid that grew up with transformers, this movie is amazing
that final speech of Optimis at the end when he tells his people he has found a home and new purpose which is to live side by side with humanity gives me chills every time
One of the things I really liked about this film is the way when they walk the sound is vibrating through the ground. Like you can not only see the massive size of the transformers but you can also hear and also feel their weight. Like the early iron man suits. It felt real
Yes, that was awesome! There was one major thing I HATED about the Transformers movies though. 3 words "LACK OF CONTINUITY" the films in term of mind numbing, edge of your seat action were certainly amazing and extremely entertaining. However there is only so much missing lore I can take before I'm ready to pull my gun. Like for instance, what happened to Sam after "Dark side of the moon"? Where did Leo go after Revenge of the Fallen? Why is there NO mention of what happened of ANY of these characters? I mean, Sam.. the teenage boy who saved the world 3 fucking times alongside Optimus and the Autobots and what.. not even a SINGLE reference to him or what he did.. I'm sorry for going off on a rant about this but still..
As someone who has been engrossed by this franchise since I was a little kid in the early 2000s, I cannot share how HUGE this movie was to 11 year old me in the Theatres! I still watch it every year before TFcon!! Hopefully you will get to tackle Bumblebee sometime, love that one too! Also: LEFT CHEEK. LEFT CHEEK! LEFT CHEEK!!
Dude frick yeah TF kids unite! I always forget how quotable this movie is but "I ate the whole plate. I ate the _whole_ plate." "That's his bling!/Dont walk on the grass!" "No sacrifice! No victory!" Basically the whole scene with Sam's parents in his room, it's all incredible
I love all of the movies, even though they’re bad. I love Transformers so so much: all continuities, shows, and even the comics. This franchise has been a part of me, a part of my personality childhood when I watched the first Bayverse movie in 2007.
This was one of my favourite movies growing up. I have a wild imagination, and growing up in Australia there's a lot of travelling cause it's a big country so I used to always imagine cars on the highway transforming and battling it out to pass time during long trips
I gotta agree, I enjoyed this movie just like the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and maybe the 5th? But regardless, I thought it was always epic and awesome with the fights scene and music and the quotes. I would usually sometime RP scene and do stupid or cringe stuff. But thats what makes me a kid. Looking back it it, I don't really care if some of the plots were bad. I only enjoyed the action pack and cinematography.
You gotta admire how many characters there are in this movie alone, and how you can remember most of them pretty well. Some of them have very little screen time and still they're so memorable! So charismatic! Looking at it like that, it adds to the realism and makes you feel you're watching a perfectly compressed series into a movie
Michael Bay isn't perfect, but he is exceptional at what he does. Heavily flawed in how he tells his stories, but an absolute beast in the visual effects department. Another win for the movie is having actual US soldiers as extras so they could read off military procedures, maneuvers and chatter authentically.
Dan of Steel I feel like most people wouldn’t have a problem with Bay if he was relegated to ONLY visual and sound effects. Presentation is on point, it’s his storytelling he doesn’t give a shit about. Imagine if Bumblebee has its original story but also had the visual flare that could only be produced by Michael Bay. Best of both worlds.
Jasper Javillo That’s so true, I know it would never happen, but imagine if Bay was paired with Stanley Kubrick for example? You have Kubrick who is a god at creating stories, and Bay, who is an effects mastermind, just fantasy though, unfortunately.
I think it's fine to like this Transformers movie, because it still holds up as a good stand-alone movie. It's just so memorable, from the characters, the action beats, and the music and soundtrack. Its sequels, though, are a whole other story-they've become just memes of this movie. And that's where the perceived hate comes from, I think-the sequels.
I feel like I'm more biased towards liking these Transformers films, they were the first ones I ever saw and I was quite young when I saw them, I can accept the sequels are kinda terrible but this one will always have a soft spot for this film in particular
If you look around you’ll see that most people see the first one as an enjoyable film, and i agree! The first movie is great. Not a masterpiece, but very enjoyable with lots of great and epic action. But the sequels were just ridiculous.
How could we forget to skip the voice of Prime? Peter Cullen’s preforming that captivating voice always kept the attention no matter which of the five or six movies that came out. And Bay respects that man’s voice enough to downplay the music and noise in the background to pull the audience away from the fighting and currents moments and ground you in the now.
@Dominic Parker oh no! An actor having to audition for a roll in a major blockbuster movie! Bay, you monster!! And so what if he originally wanted Clooney? People make mistakes. The important thing is he came around and made the right choice.
Dominic Parker so? If it brings joy to someone it shouldn't be thrown in the trash. I hate the SW sequel trilogy and yet I love that they sparked such love in so many people for the franchise, myself included given it was my first star wars film. Even if they're not very good movies. I never got into transformers but transformers 1 and 2 are still the kinds of movies I come back to for the awesome mix of corny, cheesy and explosions : D
these were the movies that introduced me to the transformers franchise when I was a kid, so they'll always hold a special place in my heart. nothing brings me more joy than hearing optimus prime's speeches as a linkin park song starts playing in the background
My friends and I always have this game where whenever we watch the Bayformers series we drink a shot every time an american flag is in the scene but whoever spots it first gets a free pass and doesn't have to take a shot. We're almost always shitface drunk halfway through the 2nd movie.
Third honestly what he works well in. This, 6 Underground and Armageddon are decent movies, and the fact he actually cares about using stuntman and practical effects is a testament to his skills. He’s a fantasy director who does action well. As long as he does that and not try to touch reality (Pearl Harbour, Pain and Gain and 13 Hours), he’s component.
9:36 I like to think Megatron *HATED* when those humans called him NBE-1 all those years and he just had to say his name out loud to show, “Yeah, I’m here, now to make you paste”
For my understanding, I believe the real reason Megatron hates humanity is because they're a primitive and self destructive race that aren't worth saving. He views their eradication as nothing more than “pest control.”
I never watched the OG cartoons, way before my time, but I still remember watching this entire trilogy in theaters. I'm about to be 20 and I still love the hell out of Transformers lol
Same! I had seen a few cartoons but was never a huge fan. But I love the movies....well all except Age of Extinction. I think that one is alright still but it's my least favorite.
I can't believe you missed pointing out how Bumblebee literally Drives into the Car Dealership right after Sam & his dad. He wasin't waiting there the whole time like I first thought. he literally just drives right across the frame as Sam's Dad turns into the Dealership.
This movie is absolutely iconic in my family. Whenever we all have to go shovel the driveway I'm always the first to yell "The ice is freezing faster than its melting! Heave!" To which there is a chorus of "NO SACRIFICE, NO VICTORY."
I love the transformers movies. I loved each one. The only one I really have issues about is the last night, mainly because of what they did to the dinobots and all the retconning.
No talk about how “what I’ve done” is a win? Fine to quote megaton, you’ve failed me again! (Kappa) Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cry in a corner while listening to Linkin Park songs! And I’m going to start with what I’ve done! 😤
@@nikolajspasovski9443 He's talking about the song "What I've Done" by Linkin Park, which is both a popular song in its own right, but also a key part of the Transformers soundtrack.
I remember feeling like Mykeala should be the main character. She's the one who actually fulfills the "no sacrifice no victory" thing. She even calls out Sam for never having to do that and he doesn't through the end of the film.
H.R Theater same. This and Iridescent from Dark Side of the Moon are my favorite Linkin Park songs from the Transformers movies. Don’t get me wrong, New Divide from RoTF was good too. #RIPChester
"This is one of those films where if you just turn off your brain a tad it'll be easier to enjoy." Ha! Jokes on you, my brain's always off. Also please do V for Vendetta
Unless it's The Last Knight, Brain off or not, it's still boring and completely senseless, at least the previous 4 had stories with some semblance of sense, not the 5th one, it makes so little sense that not even turning your brain off will enable you to ignore the pure stupidity, plus there's wasn't many action scenes (the movie was like 2/3 senseless talking) so there's barely anything to see or enjoy
There's a neat detail in the Scorponok attack scene. When he jumps out of the ground near the village, note what he does once he hits the ground. He does do rather painfully, as if he was expecting to tunnel back in, only to land on rock. He then presses a claw against the ground, realizes he can't burrow here, and decides to pull out the guns.
It’s weird that Hugo Weaving basically had disdain for Transformers, and yet his Megatron voice is my third favorite under Welker & Tatasciore (I love those two equally) Holy shit Optimus really does have sound wave patterns for teeth
This, Narnia, How to Train Your Dragon, and the Clone Wars were my childhood. I'm just glad that the first transformers is starting to get warmed up to again, as I still have a lot of fun with this movie Edit: I remember only watching this movie for the A-10 scene when I was younger...
@@Mgl1206 yeah, I was a massive fan of the A-10 (still am) and I got so hyped with all of the takeoff proceedings. Whereas the AC-130 just seemed dull by comparison, just circling the target. Although now, I love both attack aircraft and honesty this is still one of my favorite scenes in any movie
Peter Jensen yeah that is true the A-10 is pretty amazing though I find the AC-130 scene to be better since it was just so awesome seeing that thing fire round after round on that damn scorpion. Which was exactly what the plane was designed for as well so win win
I grew up with Transformers, still love it all to this day, i went insane when i saw that the live action movie was coming. It's... not the greatest, BUT, it did awaken the fandom again and got so many new people to like Transformers. The soundtrack to this movie is Amazing, voice actors are *chefs kiss- and it was just so fun to see everybot come to life. My favourite in the whole Transformers universe though is Transformers: Prime, Transformers Animated and the More than meets the eye comics. And fun fact, i was born on the same day that the first transformers episode aired in the united states. September 17th 1984, i like to think that me loving Transformers was meant to be. :P
@@orhandalegend Well I do love the first few movies I will admit that Mark Wahlberg is way better of an actor (and better person in general) than Shia.
I couldn't believe my ears when you said that people didn't like Sam's parents. I LOVED them as a kid, I thought they had such good chemistry and a kind of 'parents on marijuana' kind of vibe that was refreshing because they seemed so normal. The characters all seemed very realistic and I always thought they fit into the film well. Except Fox, but she always sticks out like a thumb. A sore one??? Ehhh maybe
I agree with you, Sam's parents were legitimately funny in the first movie, but I think that they took the whole 'parents on marijuana' shtick too far in the second and third movies such that it was almost cringe worthy
You don’t even need to turn off your brain for this movie, the plot actually makes sense and the characters are fun! Definitely the best of the Transformers films and still an incredible movie 15 years later! 😁
@@datalysjr3339 Well... remember how he mentioned that the sequels didn't get any better than this one? Yeah, Last Knight was not considered a good movie by a lot of people.
@@bruuze1258 I considered it amazing. Obviously it's not a Hollywood masterpiece, but I loved Anthony Hopkins in that movie, the new characters were fun, Josh Duhamel came back, Steve Jablonsky composed a banger soundtrack, and the visuals were awesome imo. The scenery in England, and the way they did Cybertron, was really great. The behind the scenes also made me appreciate the movie more than I originally did. I'm honestly sad there won't be a 6th part, I was really interested in more after the teasing of a movie with Unicron.
@@AntiOptimusPartei That's fair. I wasn't saying it was a horrible movie, just that the negatives associated with Bay seemed more prevalent in this one. All the things you listed were actually quite good though
One win was overlooked, in my humble oppinion. When Sam and his dad drive to the final car dealer, we can see a glimpse of Bumblebee following them to the car lot. :)
Working for Bay was one of the highlights of my time at ILM. The Transformers movies were before my time, but the dude knows exactly what he wants, never messes you about with unclear feedback and dallies with him were always highly entertaining. Dude would and did approve some shots on almost their first version because he knows when something works. Very rare in a director.
Mrs Brisby I think the transformers movies describe me as a person(awkward dialogue, sometimes funny jokes, decent action etc) and I think they should be a little bit more respected for what they r
@Jennifer Foxworth that's apart of the movie the "boring parts were meant for other things beside action and excitement plus dude it's just a movie chill out
Michael Bay's first Transformers movie was the first big blockbuster movie I ever saw in theater way back in 2007 ( I was 10 back then) and still is the best movie out of the whole Bayformers franchise (with DOTM being second best). Despite the sequels being literal dumpster fire, the first one at least has the most coherent narrative out of the bunch and managed to capture that sense of awe when the Autobots show up and all the fights were done spectacularly. Not to mention the CGI still holds up extremely well for a movie from the 2000s, even looks better than most big budget movies nowadays. Still, I'm glad that Bumblebee corrected all the mistakes from the Bayformers and did justice for the Transformers franchise, but the first live action Transformers movie will always be my childhood's favorite.
And to answer your question about Autobots with aerial vehicle modes, there are a few. In the G1 cartoon, there were Cosmos (UFO), Powerglide (Warthog attack jet), Jetfire (Blackbird).

It was honestly so refreshing to see someone praise Bays work despite the fact that both him and these movies get dumped on so often. I really enjoyed the video and hope you get around to doing the rest of the series if you haven't already.

I grew up with the films as well and I don't care that they've become a joke or that I'm old now, they're fun to watch and the characters are great (at least in the first 3 films). My son was 5 when this movie released. I pre-screened it opening night, to make sure there was nothing too much for my 5 year old... And took him to see it the very next day. I grew up watching the cartoons and it was great to be able to share the Transformers with him.

The one thing i mainly love about the transformers movies was the sounds it was and still is satisfying to hear the autobots and decepticons transforming, the guns, the explosions and the sound effects and ofc the visual effects are top notch.

I love the earlier movie designs all their faces look alien and you can guess what they turn into, and then there's the later designs.. They all dont have vehicle kibble, they all dont look like they should transform into that. And some of them look too human, especially drift and hound.
@@RXQ1jj I agree. TF1 to TF3 were the better Transformers movies. TF4 and TF5 I won't defend much

To be honest though, the designs of The Transformers in this movie were actually very awesome,my favorite is Optimus Prime.
i fucking agree they still dont get it that Bay wanted to create a NEW universe and a more realistic designs

They really made optimus feel like a warrior in this and something to be feared. Which kinda adds more credit to megatron being his equal and counterpart.
Yep that's why he's the leader
People always say that the bayverse optimus is too brutal, or ruthless, but in the Bumblebee movie, in the games, and especially in the comics, he's the same essentially. He's a brave, inspiring leader but in a fight he becomes "Optimus 'Fuck 'round find out' Prime"
@@space_racc I kinda liked Optimus in bumblebee movie he got that og design and have personality like in bayverse film

Seriously, the visuals and sound design are both easily the best aspects of this film.
While I loved the entire trilogy (revenge of the fallen being my favorite), Extinction was good but could’ve been better, and Last Knight wasn’t trash, but wasn’t that good either. Hopefully in the future we’ll have a perfect transformers series
@@split2961 i agree, people hate on tlk and aof but i personally liked them the story was a bit too far out imo but i cant wait for the next one.

"Arrival to earth" is one of the most beautiful scores i ever heard
Steve Jablonsky really nailed the tone of the movie. Wonder and action meshed into an epic whole.
This comment needs much more Attention. Arrival to Earth is one the best scores in Blockbuster history.

I love all of the movies, even though they’re bad. I love Transformers so so much: all continuities, shows, and even the comics. This franchise has been a part of me, a part of my personality childhood when I watched the first Bayverse movie in 2007.
Two things: I REALLY want to see you do Bumblebee and another neat detail: each transformer has a unique transformation noise
I'm gonna be honest: this movie was the first Transformers thing I ever saw, and I'll always love it for that.

Dan of Steel
I feel like most people wouldn’t have a problem with Bay if he was relegated to ONLY visual and sound effects.
I had no idea those were actual soldiers in the movie! So much I didn't know
Win count is actually 120. Linkin Park's "What I've Done" is the win.
Oh hell yeah. Can't go wrong with Linkin Park.
Linkin Park should always be a win.

I mean, theres now like 6 other movies aside from the original, so it's not that suprising

How could we forget to skip the voice of Prime? Peter Cullen’s preforming that captivating voice always kept the attention no matter which of the five or six movies that came out. And (if it came out in 2007), a vastly inferior fantasy movie compared to Stardust and Enchanted.
@@cookieman673 I only like them one the first one, after that they're just fuckin annoying tbh
@@connorarrants3573 yes.
You don’t even need to turn off your brain for this movie, the plot actually makes sense and the characters are fun! Definitely the best of the Transformers films and still an incredible movie 15 years later! 😁
"The Last Knight looks fun."
Oh, my sweet summer child...
I’m still baby, what do you mean by this? 0-o
Oh.
Everything Great About ideas:
-Rise of the Guardians
-Anna and the Apocalypse
-The World's End
-The Kid Who Would Be King
-Abominable
rise of the guardians is a good choice
-The Princess Bride
Rise of the Guardians is a damn good choice!
I say owls of gahool (i think thats the name) i loved that movie as a kid
Nah not abdominable
One win was overlooked, in my humble oppinion. When Sam and his dad drive to the final car dealer, we can see a glimpse of Bumblebee following them to the car lot. :)
Working for Bay was one of the highlights of my time at ILM. The Transformers movies were before my time, but the dude knows exactly what he wants, never messes you about with unclear feedback and dallies with him were always highly entertaining. Dude would and did approve some shots on almost their first version because he knows when something works.
Very rare in a director.
"Such an interesting director *flicks him across the street, dead* :)"
Mrs Brisby I think the transformers movies describe me as a person(awkward dialogue, sometimes funny jokes, decent action etc) and I think they should be a little bit more respected for what they r
@Jennifer Foxworth its. It's just a movie man :/
@Jennifer Foxworth don't forget bad boys 1 that one was really good
@Jennifer Foxworth the first and thrid one was the best but the rest was hot garbage
You should do the Croods if you haven’t already. (Dreamworks movie)
Sin: -1000
No just no
Hear hear! Agree! It's a lovely movie!
Ya
(Dreamworks Movie)? Therefore your saying there are other films titled the Croods?
And to answer your question about Autobots with aerial vehicle modes, there are a few. In the G1 cartoon, there were Cosmos (UFO), Powerglide (Warthog attack jet), Jetfire (Blackbird).
"SHUT UP, GRAN'MA! DrInK yO pRuNe JuIcE!"
lmao no win for that line?
@@jonaszprzybycien6545 lol you're right it should've been a win
"The first Transformers was the last time most people didn't totally hate the Transformers films."
Uhm... Everything Great About Bumblebee? :)

Wait a minute you like all the movies
I actually really like the transformers movies
Nolan Hoffman me too
My favorite is either 2 or 4
Mine is 1,2,3,4,5, and bumblebee
This was my favourite movie as a child and some of my best memories I have come from times associated with this franchise. It was honestly so refreshing to see someone praise Bays work despite the fact that both him and these movies get dumped on so often. I really enjoyed the video and hope you get around to doing the rest of the series if you haven't already.
My favorite part of this movie that I still geek out to a little is at the end. Optimus' speech with Linkin Park in the background still gets me hyped
The live-action Transformers films are some of my favorite movies of all time. Sadly, these movies don't get the appreciation they deserve.
If the prequels did then at least the first trilogy of bayformers can to.
10:47 Missed win for a reference to the 86 G1 film. Kup does the same pull maneuver to a tank cannon arm.
I can't even express how happy I was seeing this in my timeline. Transformers honestly helped me through a lot when I was a kid, and while I do cringe at the movies from time to time nowadays, the trilogy is still very dear to my heart! So, thank you for making this video
Steve Jablonsky's scores are amazing. He got me listening to classical music and music from shows and animes.
